I stayed here for a retreat. The overall property is very attractive but a bit far away from the main drag where food and coffee are located. The walls were so thin. We were in a few of the conference rooms and could hear what other groups were doing. At night, I could hear the other rooms talking and doing whatever. This is a very good hotel near to the Cincinnati airport . Although Hilton is closer but here you feel like far from airport yet very very close and they offer complimentary shuttle service every 15 minutes . Small shuttle so reservations is recommended. We stayed at Marriott as part of American Family Association for Creation Muesem and Ark. The hotel is nice. We were in room 101. Easy access to parking plus short walk to lobby if chose to go outside route. The room was comfortable. Though you find one dresser draw for storage. Reminds one of hotels I stayed at in Germany. The bed was good and comfortable. The shower system worked great though the sliding glass door required a wash cloth to keep it from sliding open. Parking was good. The front desk could use training in customer engagement. Smile like you enjoy what you are doing. The team on Saturday the day we checked out exhibited a positive customer focused compared to the others. I did ask front desk team if they had any insight on the event. Could not answer the question same for resteraunt staff. I would think with major events the hotel would be communicating with team. The on site resteraunt was available but not inexpensive. Dinner for 2 with tip $78. Burger and fries and one beer. Beer cost $9.50. Breakfast for 2 with tip was $46. I will say that due to increasing meal cost the unfortunate is the tip goes down. I know some would say not wait staff fault. But think about it between tax and tip in KY it adds 26% if you give 20%. Check in and check out went well. The incidentals charge $24.00 was removed from credit card as stated at check out. Room rate for the event was $205. The hotel met expectations from physical property but pulled rating to 3 stars for front desk team and resteraunt pricing. We are going on one month of trying to get a refund from them. We had booked two rooms for the weekend of my son's funeral and it turned out we only needed one night. We were told then and there they had refunded us...nope. Four calls and promises later of calling us back...still no refund. This is a full time job, horrendous customer service, NOT what we are accustomed to from Marriott! We will never make this choice again, plenty of other options in the area. read more

My room was not really clean. Crumbs on the floor, hair in the tub... The hand sanitizer by the entrance was completely empty....who knows how long it had been sitting empty. No wonder...housekeepers are too busy chatting loud in the hallway and waking people up, than actually cleaning. A mid-aged female receptionist is very nice and helpful. On the otherhand, younger male staffs cannot care less about their jobs. I said thank you so much upon checking out to a blonde hair young man and he just took the card and said nothing....I was just like wow. On the otherhand, shuttle drivers are very polite and usually quick. Overall, it is just okay. Too bad if they actually clean the rooms better and correct some young male staffs here, then this hotel could be much better. read more

So unbelievably poor service. I'd give it less if I could. I've been platinum with Marriott for years and stayed in countless cities and brands. This was the worst. Like many we stayed here prior to a flight. We called ahead (twice) to ask for cribs for our kids. Once was a month ahead, second was week before. I also noted it in my reservation when I booked it. When we showed up, no mention of status. Ok, I can live with that. When we got into our room, no cribs! Called the front desk, ok they'll send them. They brought pack and plays which our oldest didn't fit in. The pads were stained, assuming with urine. We tried for 45 mins to have the housekeeper bring us a sheet for the pack and plays. There was a language barrier so we use our phones to translate our conversation. She still didn't know what we needed, so we went to the front desk. I applaud her efforts, she did ALL she could. But she just wasn't trained, not her fault. The front desk said, they'd send a sheet right up. They sent a king size flat sheet. Those with kids know the issue here. By 9:30, they finally called and said they found two. At that point kids were beyond melting down. It's was a painful experience and we will not repeat it. The lack of ownership of the issue and lack of apology is the biggest thing. They could have told me they were dirty and didn't have any or just sorry we over looked it. read more

It did the job! The two people working the desk were sooo wonderful. We needed to print off boarding passes and the office center computers wouldn't let us log into our email to print them. The staff helped and we eventually got it, then went to our room. We arrived at night and our room was dark. We had a hard time finding the light switches and had to shine our flashlight app for each other to find them. The bed was comfy and clean, and the TV had Netflix available. The bathroom was nice, but the sink drain was full, so whenever we used the sink, it filled up to the max. We did like, however, that there was a downstairs restaurant open until midnight for hungry travelers, and that the woman at the front desk offered us free water bottles. Thanks! read more

If you need to be close to the airport and don't really have time to go out anyways, then have a comfortable stay awaits you here. Understanding the issues placed upon a business during the emergence from the pandemic. However, there is a real Lack of team culture and the staff here is falling back on "we can't get anyone to work" while they sit behind computer terminals and do nothing to pay attention to the guests. As a CEO who just replaced four dozen fluorescent bulbs in our building yesterday I have very little compassion for a team who will not adjust to today's realities and simply use it as a crutch to perform more poorly. The gym is not paid attention to. During a heightened sense of sanitization it would be the last thing you should ignore but it is here. Garbage is left to pile up. Towels non existent. Hand sanitizer runs out. No supervision or any regular cleaning at all. Some house keeping staff are friendly and others act while you're in their way. Spoke with the manager about issues and he reverted to addressing complaints one day but not the problem. Complained to one front desk staff who brought full sized towels. Told him to take notes about the other things but blankly stared at me. The next day was the manager who put a bandaid on the issues himself. Third day was a front desk worker who complained herself about the lack of workers who did nothing but shoot rebuttals back to me. Funny if she spent that same amount of tine addressing real issues than surfing social media on her phone then maybe they wouldn't have to hire a bunch of more people who do very little. Columbia Sussex should think twice about the operation of this establishment and make needed changes. read more

No healthier options. No vegetarian option. No substitutions at all. The Starbucks kiosk in the lobby was closed so I opted to drive to the Starbucks 10 minutes away for breakfast. Everything for breakfast and dinner is overpriced and lack luster. It's super close to the airport but at least 10-20 minute drive to any decent food options. Airport hotels can be hit or miss. This one was a hit! Had one of those 0 dark thirty flights and weather was one of those "Ohio iffy" forecasts. So decided to cover my bases and head down the afternoon before. Booked directly and got a good rate. Front desk personnel was so friendly, and not only allowed us to park our car there for the duration of our trip, but my son's as well (he lives in Cincinnati and shuttled over to the airport with us the next morning) Can't ask for more than that. Room was nice if just a tad dated, and there was a bar and an excellent restaurant for dinner. Winning. We liked it well enough we decided to be good to ourselves and book it again on our return cause we knew it would be a long travel day and we would be tired. I went downstairs and asked for the same rate. They won't actually book a room here...you have to either go online or call Marriott directly. No problem...I went upstairs and book an even cheaper rate online. Winning. Again, front desk was so welcoming and put up in the renovated section. It was beautiful...can't wait for the rest of the hotel to be done. Cause we will be back. Breakfast buffet was excellent as well. read more

Stayed here three nights, very conveniently located with easy access to the airport, about a 5 min drive to the rental lot and a gas station on the way. Shuttle starts at 4 am by the way. The staff was welcoming and well mannered. Fast service with a good explanation of the facility and amenities. Rooms were fairly clean, mostly dusty from the lack of visitors perhaps. Not too bad. Marriotts tend to do good most of the time with cleanliness. Good visit, saved to the local favorites for now. About 20 min from downtown Cincinnati which is good. I'd stay here again. read more

The Cincinnati Airport Marriott has been remodeled in the last year since I've been here and upgraded their facilities. It's a welcome improvement on a well staffed facility that I visit yearly for an annual conference. The staff here are attentive tongues needs and friendly. Things are stocked well, the guest rooms are nice, and with the recent upgrades the hotel has a more upscale feel than it used to. It's nice to have the refresh on the facilities and the same reliable, friendly, and good service that I've come to expect from Marriott properties. read more

One of the nicer Marriotts I've had the experience of staying in. Spent one night here - liked the proximity to the Airport. When I checked in, everyone was very friendly. I had my suitcase, computer roller bag, coat, and a cup of coffee, and was struggling to manage to move from the lobby check in to the elevator. So one of the ladies working the counter came around, grabbed one of my suitcases and walked me to my room on the 5th floor and opened the room door for me! The room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. I went back downstairs with my MacBook Pro to sit in the lobby area and work. There is a rather large water fountain in the lobby - so it makes for nice background noise. I actually could've sunk into one of their cushy chairs and fallen asleep to that music. There is a counter area with ample electrical outlets, so I set up shop there and got some work done. There is a Starbucks location in the lobby. It opens at 6:30 am but does not stay open all day like a full blown Starbucks location would. There is also a full restaurant and bar in the hotel. Nice and roomy Marriott hotel close to Cincinnati Airport. The rooms are clean and large and the hotel itself was recently remodeled I believe. I wasn't crazy about the hotel restaurant/bar. I thought it took a long time to get what I ordered (cheeseburger) and the price was crazy expensive. They also have a Starbucks, but it also seemed really expensive. It's what you'd expect. Four walls, a roof, and a bed. The room was spacious. The service was friendly enough. The prices are a bit high in the bar and restaurant. We actually got a pretty good deal on the room. And honestly, this hotel might be our go to in the future, should we ever fly out of Northern Kentucky International Airport again. You can't beat the deal of leaving your car for two weeks for $20. We took advantage of that guy before our vacation. Definitely a preferred method for parking your car. I suppose this is one of the better chain hotels I've ever stayed in. The only thing preventing a 5* rating is the high price in the bar and restaurant. But that aside, I have absolutely no complaints. read more

There were nazis. Let me start there. The Marriott hosted the Iron Horsemen motorcycle gang, many of them had swastikas patches and tattoos. They were loud, all over the place, doing drugs and spitting dip juice in the halls. (Which was not cleaned, disgusting) It created an extremely uncomfortable environment in which I did not feel safe. To pay somewhere (also I'm a Marriott Bonvoyand be made to feel that way is completely unacceptable and I'm disappointed in the Marriott. I checked in on Tuesday and by Friday never once did housekeeping come to my room. So Friday and Saturday I had to call down and ask that my room please be serviced. I will say that I am very appreciative of many of the staff members that were very polite and tried to be as helpful as they could. The plumbing was making ominous sounds the morning of check out and when I went into the bathroom black crud was in the sink. Don't really know what was going on there. Anyway, I'm just glad to be going home and I'm just going to repress this whole experience. read more

I'll save the 5th star for when I return after their renovation. My room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Their concierge floor and lounge were closed for renovation. The new concierge lounge was on the first floor. The people there were like a big family. Everyone was very friendly and the lady in charge of the lounge in the evening was very sweet. The food was OK. The drinks were quite reasonable. They have a nice fitness center with ellipticals, treadmills and cycle. The hotel mainly caters to people who either come in late from a flight or need to leave early. Many airline crews use this as their hotel. read more

I happen to like Marriott but this location is far behind on the hospitality range. I initially checking in and requested for an upgrade and was told there was the ability to do so and when arrived the front desk said yes then changed it to no. I also asked if I can just pay to upgrade the room to a executive status to get access to the M lounge and was told that it's not available on the weekend. Then when I asked another person they said it was only available to upgrade to that if I had Gold or platinum status. The rooms are smaller than the other properties and they do not have a microwave either so bringing up my food that I purchased downstairs and couldn't finish at dinner so that went in the garbage. The room you hear everything in the hallway. I barely slept. The beds are so hard. I was told that the pull out sofa was a queen and it was not. It was a full with a midget couch attached. In the bathroom when I arrived the shower was filthy. I have blonde hair and the shower was full of a bunch of black hair and it was dirty. They sent someone up to clean it but I couldn't get that image out of my head. If you want any type of privacy in the bathroom... you can throw that out the window. They have a frosted glass sliding door that doesn't shut so there's a gap and everyone in the room has the joy of listening to your bathroom experience with a large echo to enhance that experience. It's great when you have two boys and a man child with you. ‍ the bathroom has no ventilation and just painted over and not well maintained. We came in with a group and they had the same experience as well. The pool area we were only able to stay in there for no more than 15 minutes because the smell of chlorine was so bad kids were coughing and after a bit my nose was burning. Someone does not know how to balance the chemicals. I ordered breakfast the night before hung the order ticket on the door asking for a 7am delivery after waiting until almost 7:20 I called down asking to cancel because I had to leave for my sons game. I had to make sure that I was not charged. The front desk removed it then they used that I had the wrong date. Etc ... they couldn't have called me at 7am or 6:45am to confirm. The other person said that they apologized and they had it ready. Overall this hotel is not geared to family members if you don't have a gold or platinum membership you're treated like a peon. The property is not completely renovated how I have seen it in the past locations it's just new carpets and a paint job. This hotel is mainly for corporate,business and events that they have on their property. The staff isn't all on the same page. I was very disappointed with this experience. read more

Cincinnati Airport Marriott is a solid hotel near CVG airport. You can take the complementary shuttle from the airport to the hotel as well (although if you are not laying over at the airport for your next flights, you probably will want to rent a car to get around the area). The hotel is quite nice and big. However, there are a couple of things that I wish is better: 1) there's a charge to hotel's WIFI service (we ended up getting it free because of our corporate rate, but even then, when we tried to access free WiFi, there was mixed messages that we would be charged for it. I put in information to let it charge for WiFi anyways because I needed the Internet to check my email...only to find out that charge wasn't real...not sure if it's free access for all or because of our corporate rate). 2) the dining option was limited. There's no free breakfast, so you may have to order and pay for your breakfast meal. Our corporate rate gives us access to the (exclusive?) breakfast club on the 8th floor, but the layout of that club was so small/weird. Eating breakfast on a sofa/coffee table with colleagues was just sort of weird. Overall, solid hotel and clean bedroom. I wouldn't mind saying here again. read more

I stayed at the Cincinnati Marriott before flying back home for Easter. I originally booked it through the Marriott iPhone app because it was incredibly close to the airport. In my haste to get on the road, I had neglected to pay attention to the room I'd booked. After a 3 hour drive, the young man checking me in pointed out that I'd reserved a room with two beds. Clearly it's a first world problem to have, but it's not my preferred layout when traveling alone. I asked him that if he had a room with a king bed, I'd be grateful for the move. Given it was last minute, a holiday weekend, and that I'm not a high level elite Marriott customer, I wasn't expecting anything. After a few moments on his computer, he found me one, gave me a new set of keys, and got me on my way. I was intrigued when I entered the elevator, as the signage seemed to indicate the high floor he'd put me on (at least at one point) had required key access. When I arrived at the room, I found not only a room with a king bed, but a NICE room with a king bed! Much nicer than I've found at similarly priced Marriott hotels. I don't know if he upgraded me on the sly, or this was a newly renovated room, but for the short time that I remained awake, I was impressed. I had to leave pretty early in the morning for the flight home, so I didn't get a chance to check out anything else in the hotel, forgot to take pictures, and even forgot to remember the young man's name! As I make that trip a few times a year, though, I know that I'm going to make a point to come back to this hotel, because of that kindness. read more

AWFUl RIP OFF!!!!!!! Dingy bed sheets, lumpy bed, dirty bathroom and used toiletries. $16 for basic breakfast and a $5 delivery fee??!! And this was in a suite!!! Blood stains and coffee stains on the carpet. The walls are all scratched and knicked, I really don't care about the decor, it's not my taste and it's mismatched in places. What you need to know about the Cincinnati Airport Marriott is that it looks and smells like it is brand new. Also, they know how to put the "airport" in Cincinnati Airport Marriott. In addition to being located next-door to the airport, they also offer very inexpensive parking (up to two weeks!) and a free shuttle ride to the airport should you have the need. And we had the need ;) The staff were great. The amenities were top notch. The overall experience? Very refined. Large eight floor hotel near the airport. We when you walk in, the main lobby is gorgeous! To the right was a seating area with propellers as an art display. Next to that was the bar and behind the main lobby was another large seating area and tables. Check in was very quick and we went on our way to the 6th floor. Our room had a king size bed, mini fridge, stationary desk and mobile desk near another chair. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower. We hurried down to the swimming pool for a quick dip before dinner. It was freezing!! We didn't stay in too long because of this and also because it was full of kids. The next morning we were up and went across to the bar area for breakfast. There was a buffet set up with the usual fare of scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, sausage gravy & biscuits, 2 styles of hash browns, strawberry pancakes, muffins, pastries, and fresh fruit. We were shocked that to eat at the buffet it was an extra $17.99 per person. I thought it would have been included with the cost of the room. They offered a menu to order other breakfast fare for a charge. When we do come back, we will eat breakfast elsewhere. Overall it was a good experience and want to come back again. Hopefully the pool will be heated and the clock in there set to the correct time. read more

We spent a week here for a family trip, and let me explain why I rated only 3 stars: Pros: -Rooms are a good size -The parking was great -breakfast had a decent variety -the air conditioning was good -bring close to the airport was great Cons: -the wait staff in the restaurant were not reliable or present -dishes weren't always clean in at breakfast -housekeeping wasn't consistent, towels would be refreshed but beds wouldn't get made. Staying here was horrible. The hotel itself is nice but the service was baffling. We checked in and the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't slide, stuck halfway. We asked if someone could come fix it and they said that we could either move rooms or get a free appetizer (?) instead of someone coming to fix it. We chose to move rooms. We were told someone would meet us at the room we were moving to. We waited for 15 or so minutes before someone ran up and let us into the new room. We walked into this room and immediately realized the top sheet of the comforter on the bed was very damp, so much so it had soaked into the lower layers on the bed. We called down immediately and requested that they please bring us a new comforter, and were told someone would be up right away. We waited an hour and nobody came. Fiancé asked the desk again and they said someone would be up right away. We waited around until we had to leave for dinner. We came back and nobody had brought anything. We call the desk again and explained all over again to apparently a new desk person. Ten minutes later a knock on the door revealed a person with a thin towel-like sheet. Fiancé explained it was the comforter that was wet and was told the hotel was "all out of comforters" but that we could get another thin sheet if we wanted. After this experience I will never stay in a Marriott again. We are on a road trip for our anniversary and stayed at multiple hotels without any issue until now. I would maybe understand if we had spilled on the bed or something but we walked into a new room and immediately called to report wet sheets. I don't know if they didn't really clean and someone had lain on the bed after a shower in the am, or if they were still damp from cleaning somehow, but the least they could do is replace the comforter? It was a bizarre and off putting experience. I deeply recommend skipping this hotel as there is a strong vibe here that they don't care at all about your experience once they have your money. read more

I was very skeptical when my job sent me to Hebron Kentucky for a training. The hotel is really close to the airport, and has shuttle service throughout the day. Staff is helpful and excellent. The food at the Restaurant was really good and high quality ingredients. The Rooms were nicely kept clean. Hotel offers Conference rooms for meetings. Indoor heated pool as well. The lounge area was pleasant but short staffed. It took 40 minutes to get chips & salsa. I wanted a midnight snack, 3am to be exact. The front desk person was not available so when I left my $2 for a Pepsi an walked away she decided it was time to do her job. Anyhoo the pool was cold and no hot tub. The room was decent although the glass shower doors would not stay closed , no bathroom vent and the return air filter needed a very deep cleaning. All in all I'll give it a 2 star rating . My family and I were traveling back home from my uncles funeral and had made reservations at a local hotel and they did not hold us a room. We went down the street to the Marriott were the front desk clerk was more than a help. He had us in a room within minutes We got to our first room pulled out the sofa bed to find used towels and dirty bed sheets. I called the front desk immediately and he met me in the hallway with keys to another room. Great service in his part After settling into our room my wife and toddler were sound asleep however my oldest daughter and I began to notice that our a/c wasn't working. I went down to the front desk not wanting to change rooms and wake up the rest of my family. The front desk clerk was kind enough to find us a box fan for the room and discount our rates. I would have loved to give this hotel five stars on the account of the customer service provided by the front desk clerk however the housekeeping and maintenance areas need some work read more
