Average hotel, definitely not the nicest Marriott I've been too. This hotel was remodeled like 7 or 8 years ago. Felt like putting lipstick on a pig. There was a huge newish looking stain between the beds when we arrived. I called the front desk and they sent someone up to clean it right away. It's just like, why would you leave that as housekeeping staff and where is the accountability for making sure these rooms are clean? Same thing with the mildew in the bathroom, they tried to cover it up but did a poor job. Also, around the outside of the tub, it was a bit dusty and had a few spots, this is cleaning 101. The inside of the sink at the top also needed to be scrubbed. Whoever cleaned this room just doesn't pay attention to details well. Besides those details, the sheets and counters/desks were clean. Front desk was kind. The pool is way too small for this huge, busy hotel. It was like sardines crowded in the pool. You are right there next to IKEA, Twin Peaks, Top Golf, Main Event, AMC and my kiddos fav...Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I would not stay here again.

The hotel really did impress me, my fiancée and I came down here for a wedding and they accommodated very well for everyone it seems. As far as I could tell they hooked up parts of the hotels so that the wedding party could use certain rooms even late into the night for after parties and what not. Of course noise was still controlled to a point but they were pretty cool about the whole thing. Being that this was a indian wedding it's loud, colorful, and a lot going on and they handled it very well. As of our room we got a corner room on the 6th floor and I must say it was pretty nice. I think we both enjoyed the size of the room and the look of it. We had a huge bedroom. The bathroom was nice as well and fairly big with slide doors into the shower. The shampoos and all the little amenities that were there smelled really nice. The body wash especially had a great smell always nice when you can get out of the shower feeling clean and super fresh. Check in was quick and easy the prices were very fair and the stay was pleasant. Plus parking is readily available all around the hotel with multiple points to get in with your key card of course. I enjoyed that the rooms had the rfid style entry reader where you just tap you card and the doors open I really like that. The area is quiet but a nice place and it's only about 30 mins from Cincinnati as well if you looking to go to a game or just hang out. Don't forget Kentucky is just across a bridge once you get to Cincinnati!

    Thank you for this.

I would stay here again. The bed was super comfy and had nice amenities. The staff was friendly and parking was easy. Kudos on the sign posted on the door. "Open carrying of firearms on this property is prohibited. Concealed Carry Welcome". 1 star deduction due to a little dirty bathtub with a slow drain and the pool could use a new paint job and a cleaning.

Great Marriott with exceptional customer service. Although , the room service set up is different with delivering your food in a box lunch/bag the staff is wonderful. After messing up our order Sarah R. quickly rectified the issues. She is friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are newly renovated. Very clean. Easy to locate. Parking is easy. Check in was quick and efficient.

Neat little concept to get more Marriott points!

What's interesting to me is how Marriotts can range from the highest of class, upper echelons, all the way down to almost a motel like establishment. This location was on the latter half of that scale. The main lobby and concierge was bright and open, and though the bar was way understaffed, it was still a nice place to congregate in after a long day of meetings. The most irritating part about hanging at the bar however, was having to walk all the way through the dining area, past the lobby, and around the Starbucks just to use the bathroom. It wasn't a real huge deal, but it was an odd layout and didn't seem quite well thought out. The rooms themselves left MUCH to be desired, as well as the entire walk to get there. Aside from the entrance, the remainder of the hotel felt dark, dank and completely dated. My colleagues and I agreed that the rooms resembled a scene from the classic murder movies. As I turned in for the night, I couldn't help but think it might be my last night alive. New carpets and a paint job would do this place wonders. A fridge would have been nice too. On the upside, the beds were the same comfortable Marriott beds I've grown to love. At the end of the day, that's mainly what's most important I suppose!

Non-functioning refrigerator filled with towels and left open.

I really liked the decor!

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!! Then I got a 1/2 apple and pecan salad, which was more pecans, apples and dried cranberries than salad (and I mean that in the best way!) My husband let me try one of his chicken wings which had a nice spice to it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great our whole experience was because the reviews were pretty mixed but honestly, it was a great visit from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Savannah Center is tucked off of Union Center Boulevard in a vast green space. The wedding ceremony took place outside on a lovely sunny day. The couple said their vows inside a gazebo, which was positioned in front of a scenic lake and fountain view. The bridal party had a variety of places to take photographs, from outside, to the grand stairwell, to an area with posh seating that just so happened to match the wedding colors. Keeping with tradition, the bride and groom chose not to see each other before the ceremony. Each had private rooms on opposite ends of the building. After the vows, guests were led into a cocktail area, then later were seated in the dining room for the wedding party introductions. Dinner consisted of grilled chicken or filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I made a joke about mixed vegetables being "filler", but these were very tasty! It was a mixture of zucchini, red and yellow peppers, onion, and broccoli. The steak was succulent and as always, the mashed potatoes were devoured. I also enjoyed the pita chips that were served along in the bread basket. A small salad with red pepper ranch dressing was served for an appetizer. I'm not sure if the wedding cake was crafted by the caterers, but it was moist and savory. Throughout the evening, I spotted Mary, the wedding planner, keeping everything organized and on task. She works for Savannah Center and definitely had her hands full for this elaborate wedding: - Outside ceremony with about 150 guests - Live acoustic Celtic band: harp, flute, and violin - Five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, two flower girls, and a gigantic immediate family - Serving a three-course meal - A live band for the reception - A separate master of ceremony for the reception All of this, and she had to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other. The wedding went off flawlessly, and from what I could tell, all the guests were having a wonderful, lively time.

I have shot several weddings at Savannah Center - some included the ceremony there, too, in the outdoor area with the gazebo. First off, as a photographer, I really like the cool details in this venue. There's the staircase (to nowhere) which gets soft light from the windows by it - just perfect for gorgeous bridal and other portraits. I like the wood panel area with fireplace for the groom/groomsmen photos. The piano makes a great place to do photos - fun or otherwise. It makes for very cool wedding ring photos, too - with the reflection. The over sized chairs work well for photos of the bride and groom. And there's all the outdoor area/gardens. Even with the buildings in the background, there are ways to get great photos. Also, the food is very good - better than many venues/caterers. Another plus - you can't hear the music from other weddings. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and well appointed. Every time I've been there, the staff has been professional with good service. They've even helped move furniture in the main lobby for photos! In summary - I would definitely recommend The Savannah Center to couples looking for a wedding venue with some character and lots of pluses. It has a lot to offer, and they do a fabulous job!

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.

A local said it's normal to park at the high school nearby but I'm not sure if that is a legitimate business agreement or not. Space inside is also tight. Not many places to actually sit and eat after you order food. Instead of making the upper level a smaller balcony style seating area, they should have just made it a full second floor. Restaurant order windows are directly in front of tables, so expect to be crowded around if a line forms. There are at least 3 bars as well as a self pour beer tap. The bourbon bar only serves pours of bourbon or wine. The bartender was condescending when I approached to look at the bourbon list so I didn't order there nor will I ever. The main bar has a cocktail list and large selection of drinks. I got a lavender cocktail from their spring menu and it was not good. Too much syrup. Definitely not craft cocktails, more like dive bar drinks. We tried dry rub wings from Bristol's and a taco, burrito bowl, mango salsa, and churros from Roberto & Miguel's. The wings were decent but I'd get them extra crispy if I were to try them again. The food from Roberto's came in very small portions. The bowl was ok, the taco was ok. The mango salsa was very good! Chips were decent as well. The guacamole in the bowl seemed fresh and tasted good. The churros tasted like funnel cakes and needed more cinnamon. We LOVE churros but these were not good enough to finish. We've had better at Aces Pickleball surprisingly. We left hungry. Overall the food wasn't super impressive, the bars lacked quality or good customer service and it was very loud and crowded. Again, it was a Saturday so it could be a little more chill on other days, not sure. Lots of children running around, and party music playing. They need more seating space and better parking. We will try again later down the line to taste other restaurants. So far I'd recommend Factory 52 over this place by far.
