I had a wonderful visit here from check in to check out. They placed me in a room with balcony overlooking the man made lake. The sunrise was incredible. The room is clean and comfy. The bathroom is in great condition with no visible mold or ickiness we can sense at some older hotels. I only stayed for one night and didn't use their hotel lobby bar so I can't tell you how it is but all of my interactions with the staff there were all very positive and left me impressed with this hotel. Smaller Marriott property but nice. There is no valet at this location which I thought was a little unusual, or at least there wasn't one during our stay there. There is a large parking garage just across from the main entrance so parking wasn't an issue and I honestly prefer to self park anyway. The girl at the front desk checked us in quickly and was friendly, however, did not go through any of the elite member benefits aside from late checkout (F&B credit, lounge access, complimentary wifi, welcome gift, etc) and o ended up having to use the chat function to ask about all of those things. There was a pool and fitness center along with a club lounge for elite members to enjoy breakfast in the morning along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. The room was large and well up-kept, however, it had a strong musty smell and some of the pillowcases has brown stains on them which led me to wonder if they had actually changed them or simply made the bed without changing anything. Overall a pleasant stay but given the stained pillowcases, musty smell, and lack of info given at check-in it's a 4/5 for me. We arrived a little early, and since there were rooms available, we chose to wait for one on the same floor as our event. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. There's ample parking if you're driving a car, but unfortunately, my truck didn't fit in the garage. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were great, and once I figured out the lighting, it was easy to manage. The key cards, however, were frustrating -- they became desensitized very easily. The staff also wasn't familiar with how to activate the mobile key through the app, which would have been more convenient. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey for a buffet. The food was hot and fresh, though I would've appreciated more non-pork options. Unfortunately, lunch was a completely different experience. We were seated in the back by the manager, Hans, who never told the server we were there. As a result, we were ignored while several tables that arrived after us were served first. After waiting about 30 minutes just to place an order -- and another 30 for the food to arrive -- we were late returning to our event. The food finally came out cold, dry, with incorrect orders, and one plate even had burned fries. When we brought it up to Hans, he simply shrugged his shoulders, walked away, and said nothing. His dismissive attitude was unacceptable, especially from someone in hospitality. To make matters worse, he was there again the next morning and was just as rude. Later that day, we tried using the hotel's chat function to request a late check-out, but after waiting over an hour with no response, we ended up checking out through the app. As if that wasn't enough, all of the elevators broke down, forcing seniors and elderly guests to wait for a struggling service elevator while others had to walk down multiple flights of stairs from the 10th floor. For an upscale hotel, I expected a much higher standard of service and maintenance. While the rooms and front desk staff were nice, the poor dining experience, lack of responsiveness, and elevator issues overshadowed the good. I truly hope management addresses these issues -- especially the behavior of the restaurant manager -- to match the level of quality this hotel brand is known for. read more

The hotel seems fine on the exterior, and even in the lobby. However our room had black mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom which made us sick after our trip. While in the lobby one night, we saw a fire sprinkler fall from the high ceiling and hit the floor. Also during our stay, a friend of ours was trapped in the elevator for 30 mins. After that the elevator was roped off for the rest of our stay. Then another elevator would not take anyone up, staying on ground level with doors open. So there was only one working elevator. The Westin nearby is much better. Stay there. read more

A real test of a hotel is how it handles mishaps. Soon after arrival the guest elevators malfunctioned, but the staff had it taken care of in the time it took for us to ride down the service elevator, walk to a nearby restaurant to have dinner and return. Like everyone else they are a bit short-staffed on housekeeping, when they do service the room, it's good. I suggest to all hotel chains, pay your housekeeping staff better, treat them better. They sometimes had water to drink in the lobby, sometimes they had coffee. On one side of the hotel, facing east, is a beautiful view of Ben Carpenter's lake and lake walk. You should know this hotel is certainly not in Dallas, it's Irving Texas and a short walk from the DART Orange line which connects to the airport Terminal A. Otherwise Uber is $40. The DART, which is clean and convenient is only $3.00. In that way the location is good, it was a good hotel for a medium sized conference. Room was set up well for working, Internet good if a Bonvoy member, bathroom and bed all comfortable, plenty of charging plugs. The hotel restaurant and all area restaurants are expensive, and mostly not that good. If it weren't for the conference I think I would prefer to stay in Dallas, a city that has some great museums. Here in Irving, Urban Center area, the local restaurants get overwhelmed where there is an event at the Music Factory, but don't forget the proximity to the Orange Line. I have three great irrational fears from childhood, clowns, mermaids, and cheerleaders. This hotel was overrun with cheerleaders. Scantily clad blond children wearing too much makeup and glitter screeching, running, jumping, being judgmental, accompanied by their insane mothers. Not the hotel's fault, but I found solace in a 1.7 mile walk to the Cisternian Monastery, initially along part of the lake walk. I would not recommend this hotel during a cheerleader event but otherwise it's a good place. I initially assigned four stars but found out they don't recycle here. While the food in the restaurant is on the pricey side and not the best, that's the only drawback for a 4-star rating. This hotel has beautiful lake view. If possible ask for a room with that view. You can rent a gondola, pedal boat, swan/duckie pedal boat nearby. You can jog or have a nice walk around the lake. It's so tranquil and relaxing. From the hotel, it's a short walk to the Mustangs of Las Colinas. The lobby is huge, the hotel has three elevators so you don't have to wait long. The gym and the pool are on the first floor on the left when you enter the lobby. The gym is large and has a lot of exercise equipment and machines: cable machine, leg press, chest press, rowing machine, and pull down. It also has several elliptical machines and treadmills. I spent hours working out in the gym. This is definitely one of my favorite hotel gym. Minor note: the rowing machine screen didn't work. I called for service and the front desk replaced the battery. Unfortunately the battery was not new so it still didn't solve the problem. Another note was that the pin for the light weight of the cable machine was very hard to insert. I definitely recommend this hotel. It's not far from the airport and Dallas. I could see Dallas in a distance from my room. read more

My stay was okay, except for when I let them clean the room. They did not change the linen. They just made it look nice and neat. They did change the pillowcases. However, there was an issue with the elevators, and I came in and one of the front desk persons told me I needed to take the service elevator because they were working on the elevator. I found that to be a little bit odd they put me on the ninth floor instead of having me on a lower floor. like my colleagues as we were there for a work training. The next time I do stay in Dallas, I'll be going to the Marriott courtyard. That way I can bring my dog as he was left alone for an entire week. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. read more

The front desk employees, bartenders, and waitress were all wonderful and professional. The room was clean, and the burgers were really good. However, that's the extent of pleasant things I can say about our stay. We had 2 meals while we were there. The shrimp "escargot" was not appetizing. No flavor, cold, and just looked like some shrimp with shredded cheese melted on it in the microwave. The hallway to our hotel room smelled terrible. Terrible. Musty and of mildew. Then the walls to our room were paper thin and the hotel room door did not seal. You could easily see light through it flooding in from the hallway. We could hear absolutely everything going on in the hallway and each room next to us. The first night we heard the people to the left of us making love for many hours. The second night we heard hours and hours of the people to the right laughing, yelling, and then screaming at the top of their lungs and crying when apparently the fun ended for them. I literally got a total of one hour and fifteen minutes of sleep. Miserable experience at this hotel. What mattered the most to us during our stay was rest and relaxation. We were tired when we arrived and beyond exhausted when we left. I can say without hesitation it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. read more

I tagged along with my husband on a business trip to Dallas and stayed at Marriott's Dallas Las Colinas property. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of my husband's project as well as surrounded by plenty of dining establishments, with quick access to the highway. Parking was ample. With my husband being a DV, we were able to find accessible parking, so I wasn't able to see the parking garage. The facility is very modern in the DOWNSTAIRS lobby, and the elevators, although slow, were functioning. But that's where the positives end. The receptionist said she would add the stay to my Bonvoy account but didn't. Though I've been able to add my account at check-in at numerous locations (when they were booked by clients or reps), I understand if a certain property doesn't allow it, but there's never any reason to lie to a customer. Our first room was fine enough. I noticed some dated furnishings and odd streaks on the wall. It resembled spray cleaner streaks running through grime, but it wasn't glaringly obvious. The room was a good size, as well. It had two small sitting spaces with a couch and a chair in front of a large window. We went out to dinner and asked the front desk for a late checkout (since I'm a Bonvoy Elite member, and that's one of the perks). The employee tried to tell us it wasn't possible until he saw my status, then allowed a 2PM checkout. He "updated" our cards, and we went to dinner. When we returned, we stopped by the bar for cocktails. A gin Rickey and smoked old-fashioned, with tip, cost us $50. We headed upstairs to shower and settle in, and that's when the excitement started. Our updated keys didn't work, so we had to go back downstairs to get them reprogrammed. There wasn't much apology; the employee blamed it on the computer instead. I was showering and hubby used the toilet. When he flushed it, he left the bathroom, and as I was rinsing off, I noticed water pooling on the bathroom floor. I thought the shower door allowed water to flow on the floor until I saw water POURING out of the toilet. My husband rushed in with shoes and helped me out of the bathroom safely, then called the front desk to have someone come up. He also asked for them to bring keys to a new room. It took 10 minutes for someone to arrive and another 10 minutes before my husband went down there and got the keys himself. We had packed our stuff and were sitting there waiting the entire time. While they did give us a room on the same floor, the new one was absolutely rundown and gross. Yes, it offered a (man-made) lake view, but it was smaller and dingy. Outlets were patched in, stains from water damage on the roof and walls (I guess toilets overflow a lot here), and mildew on the shower roof made it cringe-worthy. The nail in the coffin was the amount of noise the walls and ceiling let in. I could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and doing nearly everything. Breakfast the next day cost us $75 for cold toast, unseasoned scrambled eggs, soggy hashbrowns, and burnt bacon. This has to be one of the worst Marriotts I've stayed in, and I won't be returning. read more

I was here for three nights attending a convention with three coworkers. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable with four nice pillows. There was a mini fridge, a flat screen TV that was easy to operate and plenty of storage space, but no microwave. The bathroom was modern and showed no sign of mold or wear. The shower blasted out plenty of hot water. Although, to be honest, I'm not usually a fan of carpeting, I'd rather have laminate flooring that can be better cleaned. There was daily maid service which was nice On the 15th floor, they have a concierge that opens at 5:30 where you can gather with friends to watch one of several flat screens or just enjoy the view. There is an offering usually of nachos and some munchables, however there is a small limited amount of alcoholic choices that you can purchase. In the main lobby they have a well-stocked bar and very knowledgeable staff. They also have a menu to order from. There is a dining area adjacent to the bar where you can also have breakfast. Stayed here two months ago. Our pick up truck was stolen from the hotel parking lot. And that is not even the reason for my review. The total lack of empathy or caring and the unwillingness to help us out was frustrating. They could not get camera footage to the police until days later. Wife and I stayed here for NYE for the weekend with a private group. We were both impressed with the friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is cleaned, has a spacious lobby with nice bar, restaurant and elevators worked and didn't keep us waiting. The drinks at the bar were expensive but considering it was a New Years I guess that is norm, the quality of the food looked fresh and tasteful. As long time, and Platinum Premier Marriott customers (primarily the hubs), we selected this specific Marriott as the location was desirable for our visit. We arrived at night and there was a convenient parking garage for the hotel. The parking garage was spacious and had ample lighting. Had I been traveling solo, I would have felt safe. When entering the lobby you get a sense of newness and modern vibes. The lobby is a large open concept where you find a bar, bar-restaurant, bathrooms, snack area, etc. this space appears clean and fairly new and updated. The check-in staff/lady was friendly, knowledgeable and offered us a bottle of water. We obtained our room key and headed to the elevator. We stepped off the elevator onto the 11th floor. This is where things changed. The 11th floor decor (paint, carpet, wallpaper, room doors) were a little dark. Not necessarily bad, just dark, not bright and energetic. I also noted the faint smell of pine sol. Upon entering our room, I was nearly knocked down by a tremendous, unwelcoming smell. The smell, the best I can explain, was that of an old, wet/moist, molding-mildewed basement that nearly burns your nose. The hubs asked if I wanted to switch rooms but I didn't as I assumed all the rooms smelled the same? But perhaps I'm wrong? The room was spacious, the king bed was cozy, good shower/water pressure and we had a pretty lake view. We headed back downstairs to get a drink and dinner. We sat at a high top bar table in the spacious bar-dining-lobby area and started reviewing the menu. (No mildew smell downstairs). The menu, as a whole food, plant based eater, provided little to no options. My husband eats more of a standard American diet so there were plenty of food options for him. We ordered a hummus appetizer, which was very delightful. The hummus was flavorful and topped with olives (I asked for the feta on the side). The hummus was served with nicely warm and toasted pita. (The option for a side of mixed fresh veggies (carrots,celery, radish, etc.) instead of the pita would have been wonderful). For dinner, the hubs had pork dumplings . He said the dumplings were an 8/10 (10 is best). As I had limited options (besides ordering a salad and asking the kitchen to strip it from all the egg, meat, cheese) I ordered the Korean deep fried (my first mistake) cauliflower (on the appetizer menu). The cauliflower dish was soggy and greasy. It was not one of those nicely deep fried dishes that comes out crispy when deep fried properly. I should have known better but it was late, we had traveled all day, and I was hungry ‍. The following morning we walked to a nice nearby coffee shop then walked back to the hotel for our free continental breakfast (free due to our hotel status, about 23$ when paying out of pocket). The restaurant area was nice, updated, and clean in appearance. The wait staff were friendly. I would describe the food as the typical continental breakfast found in most hotels. It consisted of processed meat (sausage/bacon), scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, breads/pastries, and yogurt. I selected a small side of potatoes and a small bowel of oatmeal. I topped the oatmeal with freshly cut strawberries . Both the potatoes and oatmeal were cold, not even room temperature, but cold. (This was about 0930). Needless to say, I ate a few bites of the potato's, and picked the strawberries out of the oatmeal and ate those. The coffee (black, no cream/sugar) was hot and bold- just the way I like it. I didn't drink my water, as the water glass had chapstick/lipstick smudge along the edge. I asked the hubs what he thought about his breakfast (he's less wordy then me ) and he responded, "marginal at best". The hub's breakfast included, the scrambled eggs, potatoes, a piece of toast w/grape jelly. He did say the salsa (which he put on his eggs) was really good. With all of that said. We are incredibly loyal Marriott customers and that won't change. As a whole, our experience with Marriott over the last 20+ years has been exceptional. We won't stay at this specific location again unless we absolutely have to, but will definitely stay at another nearby Marriott property. read more

It's been over 8 months since I stayed here. I am a gold member for Marriott, but apparently that means nothing. I stayed one night and got charged for two! I sent an email to the hotel right after. They said they would check on it. After about a week or so, I checked again and I was given the same reply. Later, I decided to write to Corporate. They apologized and said they would get on it, but it would take a bit of time. 2 weeks later I checked again and then they told me the hotel should refund the amount. So yeah. Location, location, location!! This Marriott is located right across the street from the Toyota Music Factory and there are a lot of dining options available within walking distance. You're also incredibly close to the DFW Airport, so you truly don't need a rental car if you're just staying overnight during a layover or just popping in town to catch a performance at the Toyota Music Factory. However, if you do choose to get a rental car, there is plenty of free parking available. The hotel itself is nice. It definitely gives you "convention hotel" type vibes. The lobby is nice and the views of the lake are very pretty. The rooms themselves are a bit dated. Our room had a slight mildew scent to it (which made me wonder whether they suffered water damage due to pipes bursting during the big winter freeze two years ago). Reasonably good the rooms have been upgraded get the lake view it's beautiful and some rooms have a tiny balcony. The king room was okay had a shower station, work area, coffee the usual but very thin walls someone in the other room had the alarm on snooze at 4:00 AM which went on till 5:00 (bye bye sleep) The concierge lounge is closed on weekends so they provided coupons for hot breakfast in the restaurant area. The M lounge on the 15 th floor has a nice view but is quite inadequate compared to other Marriotts it's smaller, dated, had no snacks or candy. The espresso machine was legit :) I also stayed at the suite which was impressive huge dining area perfect for entertaining It had two full baths, a microwave and fridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful they have an indoor pool and a good sized gym. Overall it's a decent property located 15 minutes from the airport.Ample parking space and $10 for valet which is very reasonable. This hotel is awful. Customer service sucks. It took over 30 minutes to get checked in. I have never seen such a long line to check in before. This is supposed to be a renovated hotel and I didn't see that. Wallpaper peeling in hallway, elevator so hot and stuffy. Room was stale, no air moving, wall paper peeling in bathroom and stains on the bathroom wall. The AC didn't work and neither did the TV. Water stains on the very small balcony, which I paid extra for. One person could barely stand on this "balcony". Had to go down to front desk as no one ever picked up the phone when I called from the room. Dispute about charge and trying to get a hold of hotel is absolutely ridiculous. I have called 4 times and left voicemails with three different people and still no call back to try and resolve my issue. Will never go back to this hotel again! read more

Overall, the stay was comfortable and I felt cleanliness was up to par considering COVID. The TV remote was already wrapped in plastic, but I brought my own Lysol wipes to wipe off light switches, door handles, any surface folks often touch, including the end/side tables as precaution. We also brought our own pillows and didn't use the larger comforter, just used the sheets. Had a big room with a nice view, the bed was comfortable and the room stayed cool. We also brought our own little travel fan to improve air flow to our liking. I'm not sure if the online pre-check-in would work here as the locks on the doors are old school, and when we arrived, there was a substantial line to check-in, so check-in took about 45 mins. Through the grapevine I guess they have had a housekeeping shortage so were slow to get rooms clean in time for everyone to check-in (it was a bit past 4pm during this time), and other folks holding up the line because they wanted a certain room and being divas about it blahblahblah... I will say the staff were incredibly patient and gracious in handling the situation. I wish there was a more efficient way or notification prior to check-in if this would be an issue in the future. I would stay here again as I felt the area was safe, rate was great, parking was free and is close to a LOT of restaurants and the venue we visited was a quick, pedestrian-friendly stroll across the block. read more

Stayed here from Fri Aug 25-Sun Aug 27. Bought a bottle of Pepsi for 4.33. Left the hotel and found that I was charged for $17.28 because there was an extra charge for 1 day of wifi which I never bought. Called the hotel to dispute charges with the manager, they refused to correct this. This management is a multiple offender of overcharging guests with purchases they didn't make. Most of us including me didn't get the money back. So be very careful, if you decide to stay here, make sure you double check your charges. Your bank likely wont help you either because the bank will use the False receipt Marriott produced as the legal document. read more

There is nothing else to say about this place besides it is a complete dump. The place is old and need to be deep cleaned. I called the front desk a couple of time because there was urine on our toilet, something on the side of the toilet (appeared to be bodily fluids) and the inside of the toilet needed to be cleaned. The housekeepers came up after several hours and eventually and the same stains were on the toilet. The carpet was also filthy and the room have a horrible odor. Unsure if it was mold or they previously allowed smoking but it was awful. The balcony was completely disgusting so I am unsure how that is even considered an upgrade because your average tidy person would not sit out there. Since it was a brief stay, we. did not attempt to change rooms because this did not appear to be an isolated room event, the lobby area was also not that tidy. The Marriott brand really need to do better. Each time I want to give them another chance, it continues to get worse. This was my last time because I felt completely disgusted in this room. I have left the manager Clifton T. a message and have not received a call back yet. UPDATE: I heard from the manager the next day who proclaimed this is not of his standards and indicated he would get back to me once I sent the pictures and my information in the email. Once that was sent, never heard back from them. That was the end of August. No interest in correcting their mistake at all. Never again!!! read more

From having to wait over 30 mins to check in, the elevator smelling of stale air, the wallpaper peeling in the hallways, stains on the walls and bedding in our room, a balcony (which we paid extra for) that could barely fit one person on it, the AC and TV not working, noone answering at the front desk, and being charged over $20 a drink!!! This place is nearly empty. Maybe 20% occupied at most. Unfortunately this full service hotel is not full service due to C-19. Concierge Lounge is not open. Pool is not open. The 24 hour gym is locked so you must be let in by the front desk. There is no breakfast that I could see. But the do have a coffee service in the morning behind the front desk. And it seems like the lobby bar is open with very limited hours. Having said all of the.... the place is immaculate. They even have the most germ infected item in your room wrapped up in plastic.... yes I'm talking about the tv remote. You will need to ask for some of the items that normally are just always in your room. Like Kleenex. They hang fresh towels and soap along with coffee in a plastic bag on your door every morning so there is no need for house keeping unless you request it. I can't wait. This is a nice hotel, but it was undergoing renovation in the lobby that was pretty noisy on arrival. The guest 'mingling' space is pretty awkward due to the reno, as it is just chairs spread around a fairly empty area - the 'bar' is wheeled in at night. They have a covered garage with free self-parking, which was a nice surprise, it costs $10/night for valet. Plenty of restaurants with walking distance. Room has a fridge but no microwave. Our room looked to have been updated recently, with tasteful accouterments and a nicely appointed bathroom, glassed-in shower area with good water pressure. No continental breakfast that I could find, although a hostess was handing out free smoothies in the am. Tip: Ask for an odd-number room to get a lake view, and get a balcony if they have one available- only about 10% of the rooms do. read more

I come to this area regularly for work, and my previous stays in the DFW region have been at the Westin and Four Seasons. I decided to try out the Marriott this time, and probably won't be back. It's undergoing a lot of renovation right now, so the lobby is an active construction zone and it's a challenge to even get to the elevator bank buttons (you have to reach your hand blindly through a creepy cutout in a plywood wall). My room was spacious, which is par for the course in TX, where everything is indeed bigger, but there was a lingering unpleasant smell of feet that was pretty awful (see also: the gym). There wasn't much in the way of amenities -- not even bottled water -- and not really much to look at either, as far as a view from my room. The room itself seemed to have seen better days. I didn't find the front desk staff especially friendly, and while I'm not expecting familial, effusive warmth, at least pretend you're glad for my business? I won't be staying here again, though it is situated quite conveniently to the airport. There are better places to stay in the same price range that offer a more pleasant hotel experience. read more

We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing! Overlooked Lake Carolyn and Williams Square. The front desk and bell staff were amazing. That's it. The rooms are outdated for the price you pay We ate breakfast in their dining area and the customer service was ok, with the exception of the guy making the omelettes. He was rude and had a terrible attitude. I'd stay there again for the view from the balcony, but I will choose to dine elsewhere read more

Used this facility for a conference and stayed here one night for business. The rooms are average for Marriott quality and fresh decor maybe a bit dated. It appears they are refreshing the entire hotel piece by piece. Not much to mention here other than the conference areas were clean and large enough for a big function. The social public areas are also large but fairly basic for this type of hotel. Can not comment on the food but nothing we had was enough for me to mention as we had salad and sandwiches. After a stressful work week, my sweet husband thought I could use a brief 'staycation' to recharge my batteries. He offered to use some of his Marriott points to book me a room here since it's not too far from where we live. We took separate cars as my husband was going to check me in since he made the reservation, and then leave me to relax. I was able to park in their garage without issue since I drive a compact car, but his Silverado truck (which is not souped up in any way) didn't fit under the clearance bar. Odd for a hotel in Texas where everyone drives a truck, therefore they may want to rethink that height requirement. The staff at the check in desk were nice, though didn't seem at all concerned when we mentioned the parking issue to them. They just sort of shrugged and gave us my room keys. We made our way upstairs to check it out, and knew we were in for trouble when we heard children screaming before even stepping off the elevator. We were just in time to see a group of about 6 kids walk into the room adjoining mine. Seeing as the whole point of doing this was to relax and unwind, I knew being next to them was not going to work for me. Thankfully when we called down to ask if I could get a different room they were quick to agree and still gave me a nice one with a patio which I had requested. The view was great looking directly out onto the gondolas and canals. The room itself was nice too with a comfy king sized bed, siting area, large bathroom, and modern decor. I was even able to sign into my Netflix account via the tv, so I watched for a while before making my way downstairs to their exercise room. The equipment is creaky, and the smell in there is overly musky. You can see the canals on the treadmills which is cool, but they need to crack a window every once in a while. Back in my room for the night I decided to order room service for dinner as a treat. I thought it was odd when they asked if I wanted to come pick it up, or have it sent to me for an additional $5 fee. Expecting a tray and real silverware, I was surprised when they essentially handed me a shopping bag. I ordered breakfast the next morning too (by filling out the card they provide you and placing it on my door before going to sleep), and that's how it was delivered to me then also. Plastic silverware as well. I had ordered the rice bowl with chicken for dinner that was supposed to come with broccoli but only had 4 pieces of chicken, a large amount of jasmine rice, and mostly grilled onions and peppers for filler. Breakfast wasn't much better. The eggs, bacon, and hash browns were okay, but the fruit cup and muffin were inedible. One of the strawberries in my fruit cup had soured and it sort of turned me off to finishing the rest. The muffin was so greasy I tossed it after a single bite. For what they charge for food, I would recommend either ordering in from elsewhere or going out. It's definitely not worth it. Food aside, I still enjoyed my time here and got a good night's sleep so read it more as 3.5 stars. It was nice to sit on my patio and enjoy my coffee the next morning too. I will definitely do another staycation in the future, but I think I will choose a different Marriott next time. read more
