What a cool venue The Rayleigh Underground is! I had never even heard of it and then a few weekends ago I was having some breakfast at the sister business, Kitchen 101. When I was coming back from washing my hands in the restroom I noticed a hallway leading a different direction from whence I came so I followed it to see where it took me. I was dumbfounded that an event venue so cool existed in the Dallas Fort Worth area and that I did not even know about it. When I returned to my seat I asked the Kitchen 101 manager about the space and he offered me a tour so of course I took him up on it. I work for a business that rents venues out for our company functions so I wanted to learn more. He gave me the tour and showed me the space and it is actually a great place. read more

Ok so here's the GOOD, BAD AND UGLY. I went to a Halloween Party on Halloween Night. Ambiance is AMAZING! The venue is beautiful and definitely has a great vibe. The music sounds fantastic. The atmosphere is full of energy. This is a great spot for parties and events. 5 STARS The cocktails are good. My lemon drop martini was tasty. The price was reasonable. 3.5 STARS So that's the GOOD! The BAD why is a bottle of drinking water $6.00. That's really price gouging in my opinion. It's not even a fancy brand just some basic water. The UGLY is the FOOD. Not impressed the chicken wings need some help. Flavorless and not cooked properly. 1 STAR and that's being generous. My final thoughts: Yes I would go back for drinks and dancing only. Overall I see the potential, but the food needs a major overhaul. read more

Rayleigh Underground has quickly become one of my favorite Sunday Funday spots. The atmosphere is absolutely top tier live band, DJ, and a vibe that makes you want to stay all day. Service is solid overall, though I will say when it got busy my table service slowed down a bit. No problem though, I just grabbed my drinks from the bar and kept it moving. The drinks are on the pricey side, but I do appreciate that they validate parking it's a nice touch that not every place offers. I've had a table both times I've gone, and I think they're very reasonably priced for the experience you get. All in all, it's a great time with good energy, good music, and a fun crowd. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a Sunday spot in the city. read more

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! I visited Rayleigh for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed. Imagine Lava Cantina, but nicer and mostly inside. The building is huge with vibrant lighting and decorative furnishings. Not only is the venue a gargantuan two stories, but for the weak bladders out there (like me) there are plenty of restrooms---which is a huge win! So, no more waiting in line ladies, you have many self-relieving spaces to choose from. And the restrooms are not only clean and attractive but vast in size as well! Ooo Lordy, we really are in Texas! Drinks are a little on the steep side ($15 for a champs) but I get it; they have to find SOME WAY to pay for the light bill. Although Rayleigh houses plenty of sections for your crew, its not too much. There is still plenty of space to dance, mingle and maneuver through the traffic that this place will bring. The only downfall I have is, PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE! You'll likely have to pay $30ish dollars if you want to park close to the venue, and don't even think about coming when Toyota Music Factory is hosting a concert---the minimum you're paying for parking is $60! To avoid this ridiculous fee, arrive 15-20 minutes early so that you can look for parking 4-5 blocks from Rayleigh. This method will cost you closer to $10... you're welcome. read more

My favorite dish was the scallops risotto...yum!!!The Baos were delicious, specifically the Braised Pork Belly and Korean Fried Chicken. Love this place!! My go to spot in DFW for a fun evening and/or gathering with friends or a corporate company dinner. Been here a handful of times and always in awe with this venue , simply breathtaking!! Definitely a hidden gem in DFW , as the pacific rim cuisine is delicious and the decor is immaculate down to every detail. The drinks are simply amazing , with a wide array of cocktails. My favorite dish is the scallop risotto, simply the best risotto I have had ever , and I've had many around the world . Violet impress is an amazing cocktail, make sure they add the butterfly to it . For dessert the crème brûlée or the chocolate torte dessert are to die for . The service is great , the hostess has always been polite , greeted me, sat my party quick. Trust me , go, bring your friends , and have an unforgettable experience!! read more

Ok, so this was our 1st time coming here.. And we decided to celebrate our Boo Neko's Birthday here.. And man, oh man, we had a ball.. While I was waiting for my party to arrive, my server Joelynn was giving me great vibes and energy.. The ambiance in nice but the food is horrible. I paid $20 for 6 undercooked barely sauced wings, the server dropped my celery in the table and then picked it up and put it back on my plate. To put the cherry on top, a 6 oz frozen margarita was $20. It was watery and you couldn't taste any alcohol in it. I was very disappointed and probably wouldn't come back again. Family of 15 came for a graduation celebration! We ordered the shrimp and crab dip, chicken tikka masala, the steak, chicken fried rice, bao, caesar salad, coconut rice, lamp shank, and Brussels! Along with that we had 2 different types of Jell-O shots, a Painkiller, and a BobaFizz and they were all delicious!! Our server, Jordyn, did a great job serving our large group! The food was so good. I had the Roasted Miso Seabass and it was delicious!! The drinks were good but a bit in the pricey side. Our Server, Tammy was really on it! I loved the board of knives. She explained which ones we should choose based on our meals. I thought that was very cool. The ambiance was cool too. I want to go back for dinner and a show! I loved the tray of Jell-O shots. I'd never seen them served like that before, super cute idea... wish we could've kept the little doggie bank, LOL. I also had, no pictured, a Gamma Ray and it was soooo good. Went for valentines dinner and sadly disappointed with overall experience. Reservations were for 7:30. With valet overrun had to self park for $20 since there was a concert that night next door. When arrived there was a line outside that lasted 25 min. Once it took additional time to check in. Wasn't sat until 8:10. Entree didn't arrive until 9:25. Couldn't eat until 9:30 since no utensils or plates were provided. Also never received a water glass and wife's water was never refilled for duration at table. Also seated in one of farthest tables in back. Easier to see band on monitor then on stage. Second drink took 25 minutes to receive. Several people around us decided to just order from the bar. Band was good but took 3 breaks since arriving for 10-15 minutes. Very annoying to sit there several times with no food, drink or music. Would have walked out several times but prepaid. Only positive was the food was decent and seasoned but steak luke warm. Never offered dessert on Valentine's Day. Grateful we received food when we did as there were surrounding couples that were sat near when we were and still hadn't received food before we fled. Overall understaffed and poorly mismanaged especially upon entry using a paper seating system which was a huge bottleneck. Too little servers and runners who were witnessed several times meandering around looking for the tables to deliver food and drink. Pretty embarrassing overall and for the price will never return. read more

Mother's Day Brunch was a flop....I heard such great things about this place but was very disappointed. I was expecting brunch and entertainment. Brunch was subpar (Golden Coral has a better selection, sadly) but I was expecting the entertainment to save the day.....but there was no entertainment. They failed the "Dallas meets Vegas" vibe check. I brought a party of 15 and we paid $75 each. Sad to say, my family will not trust my recommendations anymore. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone! Marketing is pushed saying free for ladies for 10-12 but that's a lie. They wanted us to pay at the door. Told us we needed to RSVP to free entrance but couldn't tell us where to go to get that. Checked the IG page and website and there's no reference anywhere about RSVP for "free" entrance. Very disappointed. First visit. Was not crowded at all. Waiter took our order fairly quickly and appetizers arrived timely. Downhill from there. Second cocktail came. No ice, I guess from sitting so long. Food arrived. All steaks luke warm. Butter on top must have came right out of fridge. Wouldn't melt. Supposedly steak knife selection their specialty. No one received a steak knife. Two empty appetizer platters left on the table for whole meal This was a $500 meal for 4. Horrible service Won't be back. Ventured out on V-Day for their Premium Experience. Service and drink service was terrible. Appetizers and food were over an hour in between. I get it's a new spot, but they need more experienced servers and food/drink runners. Food was actually good when it arrived. Bussers retrieving dishes literally placed the dirty buckets on patrons tables and seats while they were dining. Totally lacking in the high end Supper Club experience. Dean Martin style band over stretched singing Bruno Mars, Marvin Gaye and Ed Sheeran. Stay in your lane. At the end of the night, we still enjoyed the crazy experience and will try it again. Was super excited to see a live show and a have great dinning experience. However our expectations were not met. The hostess brought us to our table and we were impressed by the venue. 20 minutes before the music started the venue only had a few tables occupied, which surprised us. Food and drinks were over priced and not the quality we were expecting. We ordered water and were charged $8 the bottle, which was never disclosed. Not impressed with the experience we ask for our bill after the music ended and were surprised with a 20% large party tip when it was only 2 of us. The manager later adjusted the bill stating the server confused the tables, however I don't think this is the first time this "mistake" has happened. read more

This was such a disappointing experience. Novita was not an attentive server. Also beware of her processing your card!! I'd asked for a glass of water. She brought a glass bottle...I did not know it wasn't just how they served the water. She ran my check without showing me the bill (my mistake for not asking for it up front). She charged me $8 for a bottle of water that I did not want!! I am still so upset about it. Lesson learned! read more

Terrible experience. Waited 20 mins to get a waiter. Had to request a waiter twice. Finally got a drink at the 40 min mark. Food was was cold when delivered, after it was originally delivered to the a different table. Check in process slow and cumbersome, especially considering we had an electronic ticket that they could have scanned. Lots of staff standing around. I contacted them the next day about the experience but received no response, which tells me a lot about their customer service. read more

The management and ownership is the problem. We went last night for dinner and live music. The venue is awesome. The stage is great. The service and food are terrible. If management / ownership worked the room and understood and cared about what was being seen by their customers, they would be able to understand where they are missing it. When we came in with our reservations, they sat us promptly. From there is was all downhill. Our server didn't come over for 15 minutes. They messed up the order / were out of menu items 4 times. The music didn't start properly and cut out mid show. This is our second time here and I feel worse than I did the first. $36 for lousy Pad Thai w/ shrimp. $36 for a 3 scallop dish on risotto. I wish they could be better. If they choose to care, they can make a difference. All I know is I'll go back for the shows but I'll only order Bao Buns and drinks. read more
