"From The Sound up in Long Island Out to San Francisco Bay And everything that's in between them Is our own" (Charlie Daniels Band) We spent two nights here for a wedding and had an interesting experience with our reservations. The day we received the wedding invitation; we called to reserve a room under the room block but were told only one night was available. Seems there was a children's lacrosse tournament in town and the hotel was close to being sold out. We ended up reserving one night under the room block and a second night through a different registration with a regular price that would have been in the $400+ range had we not used points. We were dreading checking out after day one and checking into a different room, but luckily the Marriott worked things out, so we stayed in the same room, but still had to go to the front desk in the morning and "check in" again. The hotel is beautiful; with a wide-open spacious lobby and a dazzling atrium ceiling that's at least four stories high in places. Our room was excellent with a big bathroom, large and comfortable room with a nice work station, comfortable bed, excellent Wi-Fi and TV, and plenty of charging outlets. The location is pretty much sitting in the shadow of the Long Island Expressway Exit # 49. The hotel is smack in the middle of a Long Island office park megalopolis, so you have to walk half a mile to find a deli, coffee shop, and restaurants. We had a nice stay, the staff was helpful, our room was fine, and the space was very beautiful.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was a bit of a drive from JFK in afternoon busy traffic. The hotel is big, and the front desk is right by the door, welcoming you when you walk in. There's a snack shop near the desk, you can charge your items to the room, and they have more than enough things to eat late at night. I took the elevator up to the 3rd floor, and the halls were clean, and it was easy to find the room. The room is a good size with a view of the parking lot. The AC didn't get cold until late at night. It was warm in the room with AC at 65 degrees during the day, so I kept the blinds pulled. The lamp next to the couch didn't work. There was also a laundry bag left in the room. The front desk said someone would come and get it. Then they called back and told us to put it outside the door. The bag stayed outside the door until almost 11am the next day. The bed was tough, and the pillows were flat because of the ice that they charge nightly, but it was convenient for our trip.

Not a lot of special here. However there's not a lot of competition in the area so there's no need to improve. I switched rooms because I walked all the way to my room they assigned and the key didn't work. Little did I know that was a common theme. My next room and the door to the gym all struggled accepting the key card. The gym was decent. Lots of cardio equipment, but very few weights. Positives are that it's right next to the highway and halfway down Long Island. Staff was nice. They have coffee in the lobby in the am and fruit infused water at night. Pool looked nice but I didn't spend any time in it.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding. We got back late from the wedding and instantly noticed how dirty our room was when we walked in. There were even period stains on the sheets. It was so bad one of us decided to get another room. I took pictures of everything and sent it to the manager, walid awad. He apologized and said that never should have happened. He then offered me Marriot points for a free 1 night stay at another Marriot. I received 12k points. It gets better though! You can't use these points until you stay at another Marriott. What he also did not tell me is that a basic room at even the most basic Marriot hotel is at a minimum 50k points. When I called to complain he did not care and hung up. BEWARE!!!

Back then you…read morecould walk in, get a normal bowling lane, grab an easy pitcher of beer, and actually enjoy a relaxed night out. Those days seem long gone. Now the entire place feels geared almost exclusively toward kids and parties. They only keep the black lights on, which might be fun for children for a while, but not everyone wants to bowl in a dark neon environment the entire time. As a parent myself, I completely understand wanting a family-friendly atmosphere, and I'm all for it. But this place has 20+ lanes across both sides of the building. Why not dedicate some lanes to traditional bowling with regular lighting? Getting a server was nearly impossible, and the drink situation was equally frustrating. The pitchers are absurdly overpriced and the overall experience just feels like style over substance. If you live in Melville and want a more traditional bowling experience, you're basically driving to Syosset or Farmingdale now. It's unfortunate because this place has so much potential, but it feels like it's operating way below what it could be.

There are TVs above the lanes, which adds to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful overall. One thing to note is that food ordering is done through a tablet at your lane, and they bring everything directly to you. We didn't realize this at first and spent some time looking for a server, so a quick heads-up from staff would've made the experience smoother. Overall, a fun and well-equipped place to bowl and hang out.

With Rachel by our side, there was no need for a separate day-of coordinator; she guided us through every detail and truly personalized the entire process. She helped us design a menu with Jorge, the General Manager, and the Executive Chef, and the food was outstanding -- beautifully prepared and served with care. On the big day, Aldo, the maître d', handled every aspect of the event seamlessly and made sure our family and guests were always cared for. The combination of Rachel's thoughtful planning, Jorge's leadership, the Executive Chef's culinary excellence, and Aldo's flawless execution created a wedding that was not only beautiful, but stress-free and unforgettable. We are so grateful to the entire Royalton team! By the way, we had gone to a wedding there two years prior and we were impressed then, which was one of the reasons we knew about it and considered it, and we are thrilled we did. The food, atmosphere, and overall service were impeccable. As the father of the bride that also paid for it, I am thrilled we went with Royalton and without hesitation wholeheartedly recommend it, especially being able to work with someone as terrific as Rachel.

Second, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Janet, especially, was fantastic. The level of service and care they give each family is really impressive. Overall, it's always a great place to host a professional gathering. Service has consistently been very good. The staff is attentive and organized, which helps when you're hosting a larger group event. Breakfast is usually the best meal of the day and something I look forward to each year. Lunch this year, however, wasn't quite as memorable. I'm not sure who the chef was, but the food was very plain almost like traditional wedding catering. It wasn't bad or inedible, just lacking seasoning. There was very little salt or flavor, so it didn't really stand out or meet the standard many of us expected. The venue itself is beautiful. The inside has a classic, historic feel, and you can tell the building has been around for quite some time. Certain areas really showcase that charm. There is also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. One small thing to note is the cobblestone area as you approach the building it looks nice but isn't the most heel-friendly. Thankfully, there's a sidewalk around it. All in all, the Heritage Club is still a great place to host meetings or events, especially for larger groups. The atmosphere and service are consistently strong, even if the lunch this year was a bit on the plain side.
