We recently had a celebration here, it was wonderfu! The room was perfect. All of the staff were fantastic! They took amazing care of us.

Will not return to this location until they clean it up. It used to be an OK place but now it's just filthy and poorly maintained. I would give it zero stars if possible. Please search elsewhere for a place to stay. read more

Musty smelling, this Marriott is not a swanky Marriott, but the staff excels at customer service. The manager, Brad has a stellar team, and I've always said that a great team is a reflection of great leaders. Chris at the bar is AMAZING, serving up a mean negroni. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but the hallways were muggy despite the attempts to control the humidity. Good location. I was not offered the concierge level even though I'm an elite, which sucked. The gym is super tiny and is heavily aired with the clorine from the adjacent pool. Good location for us and super close to tons of eating places. Whatever they don't offer, the staff will try to accommodate and they keep the place clean. Not a bad pad to crash! read more

We stayed at this Marriott property for one week. On Day four we left at 9am and saw the housekeeper next door and told her we would like some new sheets and towels ( first and only time since we arrived) and for our trash to be taken out. We arrived back at our room at 12:45 and noticed the 5.00 bill was gone but the room was not cleaned. We went down to the front and asked if someone could just leave towels and sheets in the room and we would make the bed because we had a reservation at 5:00 and we needed to be showered and out the door. They said they would send someone up within 20 minutes. We left the hotel again and arrived back at 3:00 the room was still not done. We went back to the desk and asked again. The room was done around 3:40ish. I was a housekeeper in my younger days and I was trained that you hit the stay over rooms as quickly as possible because they don't take long and you never know when they will be back and when they need to leave again. So I feel 9am -3:40 was a crazy ammount of time especially when I left room with stripped bedding, put all of the towels together and compiled all of the garbage. Front desk was amazing. Marlanea Tate is an asset to this hotel. She goes WAY above and beyond for the guests. She should be the face for any training. I have never met someone better at their job than Marlanea. I also think a microwave would benefit the rooms. Staying for a long period of time makes you want hot leftovers not cold leftovers from the fridge. read more

From the moment I walked into the Marriott Philadelphia West, I felt welcome. The front desk team is incredible- every person I interacted with was authentic and kind. I must give a special shout out to Marlanea Tate, the front office supervisor. She went out of her way to ensure I had a wonderful stay. Her ability to make me feel so comfortable and welcome at this hotel was impressive. I travel a lot for work and I have not felt this level of care and welcoming from a team ever. I truly mean this. Kudos of to the entire hotel team. (Also- the hotel is kept so clean! Very impressive!) The next time I need to travel to Philadelphia, I will go out of my way to stay here. read more

Phone in room didn't work so I had to call down to front desk. They sent engineering up to resolve. I still just got a fast busy sound so didn't worry. Its an ok spot for a night or two. In short, I would DEFINITELY stay here again. I'm very glad that I decided to stay here as opposed to at another Marriott property in Center City. Pros: -QUIET!!!! Legitimately one of the quietest hotels have ever stayed in. -Clean, aesthetically appealing and well kept property -Generally friendly front desk staff -Ample and convenient parking -For whatever reason, the parking gates were up and parking was free during my entire stay -Spacious, bright, and beautiful room with ample ambient and natural lighting. - The decor was a lovely mix of soothing neutral tones -Plenty of surfaces for both people and belongings -Spacious mini fridge in the room -Microwave available upon request -Conveniently located right off of 76 and walking distance from a number of gas stations, dine in restaurants, and fast food restaurants -The concierge lounge has my favorite seltzer water (cherry flavored Bubly, in case you're wondering) -Even though you can hear the doors closing and other rooms, this hotel is so well constructed that you don't feel them slam -My bathroom and the hallway of my room were against the wall that I shared with the next room. Too many hotels I've stayed in have had sleeping areas on either side of the same (thin) wall, and I've been forced to hear someone's TV, someone's kids, or someone's extracurricular activities when I'm just trying to sleep. The architect of this hotel did it right though, and fortunately I did not have that experience at this hotel. -Great water pressure in the shower -Super comfortable bed -Lovely view from my room -Unlike a number of other Marriott properties I've stayed in, the housekeeping staff were informed that I had late checkout and did not disturb me or otherwise try to enter the room. Cons -The toilet seat was oddly scratched up...  The point where they should have replaced it. I've never seen anything like it and it definitely didn't align with the otherwise modern and fairly new decor. -The shower does not have a hand held nozzle, so I had to do the whole rotisserie chicken thing in order to rinse off in the shower. -The room took an unusually long time to warm up. I had the heat on 80 and it took about half an hour before I even started to feel the difference. Nevertheless, it was chilly in my room for at least half of my stay. -I called the Bonvoy customer service line and requested a microwave a few days ahead of my stay. When I checked in, the young lady at the front desk confirmed my request. However, several hours into my stay, my microwave still had not arrived, so I had to call guest services to request it again. Overall, this is a great property to stay in if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city but still be just a stone's throw away from all it has to offer. read more

I love a great hotel when traveling. The difference between a good trip and a great trip is the lodgings. This is a great hotel to truly enjoy your travel experience. The staff is helpful as Stacie is on hand to make sure your needs are met. Legends in the lobby is a good place to enjoy the morning breakfast provided by the hotel. The parking is only 10 dollars a day and in comparison to the other hotel choices, this is a bargain. The elevator from the garage to the hotel lobby is a convenience that you need to leverage as it does make things easier and efficient from parking to getting back into your room. read more

Staci, the manager, and her staff are friendly and accommodating. The manager remembered my party and I from a previous visit in July. We specifically stayed here again because Staci made our stay memorable last time. She greeted us with smiles and was very polite. We've noticed she was also this way with other customers while I was on line waiting for my check in. Easy and quick check-in as usual. This hotel is very clean. The Legends buffet breakfast has a great variety of hot breakfast and pastries, fresh juice and amazing coffee. The hotel has a nice large indoor pool, a definite plus in our books. Nicely situated near Valley Forge, shopping malls, restaurants. We will definitely book this hotel again in our future travels as we are in the area very often. This hotel was fabulous! Check-in was a breeze and all of the employees here were extremely friendly! The bar downstairs has great food and a ton of TVs to watch sports games on. The restaurant was also nice enough to customize certain food items for me which was greatly appreciated. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous- I like how the pool was inside with a lovely little outdoor sundeck near it. The jacuzzi is near a large window that overlooks outside and I can only imagine how beautiful it is when it snows. The rooms I found to be very modern- but most importantly CLEAN! The ladies from Housekeeping were also very kind- If they saw me in the hall they would always ask if I needed anything for my room. The beds were cozy and the surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. I would be happy to stay here again in the future. The only downside- no shuttle and far away from downtown Philly. read more

I go to Philadelphia often and generally stay at Marriott but this was my first time staying in Conshohocken. Actually I had never heard of Conshohocken and still can not pronounce it. Turns out Conshohocken is nice little suburban town/city. As for the Philadelphia Marriott West loved it. The room was very clean and we had a great view. Staff was welcoming. A large high-rise hotel in the Marriott chain in The philly suburbs. We weren't originally scheduled to stay here for graduation weekend but made a last minute switch and was glad we did. While our room was tiny and on the second floor, the room was recently updated and had up to date furnishings, colors and equipment. There was a small mini fridge in the room and power outlets on each bedside table so you didn't have to hunt for a spot to plug in your phone. Even better was that they were able to give us an early check-in so we could change and get over to Villanova for the 4 pm ceremony. As far as hotels go, this was perfectly fine, comfortable and clean. Probably three stars overall but the super friendly and a accommodating front desk crew pushes them up to 4 as I always appreciate good service! Pros: good location, free parking, nice firm bed, excellent customer service, updated interiors Opportunities: paid wifi (what is this 1995 Marriott??), bath amenities are lower end, large heavy doors can be heard opening/closing so a bit bothersome, small bathroom, restaurant just so-so (see separate review for Legends Sports Bar). This hotel is definitely the best stay option Conshy has to offer. There is also a Sheraton by King of Prussia. I chose to stay here because the staff is really nice. After a few stays they all get to know you. Specifically Luigi in the concierge lounge. He makes for a wonderful experience and is great to talk to. Rooms are nice. The breakfast spread is excellent. Evening movies in a the lounge are a nice touch. The one thing I will say is the gym is small and leaves something to be desired. Everything else is great. read more

I stay at this hotel approximately 20 nights per year and I will stay approximately 60 nights in 2024. The overall service is outstanding, the staff is amazing, and the hotel location is great. The property sits on a beautiful river with a walking/running path and its a great way to relax/exercise while traveling. I will only stay at this hotel when traveling to Philadelphia. read more

I have to hand it to a hotel that offers bar and bat mitzvahs. They even throw in three-piece candle centerpieces and the challah for Ha-motzi. I don't know what all that means, but I can still be impressed, can't I? None of that has anything to do with me, but I am still getting over the fact that I didn't even know I was in a Philly suburb called West Conshohocken when I stayed here. That's because I was a business traveler who was told this was the hotel I needed to stay at for a meeting held at our Villanova office nearby. There is little I can say about it to enlighten you on your stay except that it was most definitely a standard-issue Marriott. There's nothing wrong with that especially with a Wawa across the street. I had no complaints about my room which was spacious with a couch I really didn't need during my stay. I was happy to get a King bed for $139 per night (photo: http://bit.ly/1tehBAf), and the room was clean and quiet. There's a restaurant downstairs called Legends which yes, sounds like a strip club but is actually much worse, it's a sports bar. Nonetheless, it's a reasonable place to meet up with colleagues over a cocktail and a burger. I skipped the $19.95 breakfast buffet and tried the Sizzli Breakfast Sandwich at Wawa. I'm sure I would have enjoyed the Turkey Gobbler Hoagie had I stayed longer. Alas, let me focus as this review should be about the Marriott, so stay here if you need to. It won't kill you. read more

Hotel rooms themselves were decent. Cool views of Conshy. Front desk people we're miserable. Then to take the cake... The legends sports bar was the biggest hell hole on earth. I attended a business meeting at the Marriott west in Conshohocken pa. I accidentally pulled my pickup truck into one of their parking lots that was only meant for cars. The roof of my truck was about a 1/2 inch from hitting their fire sprinkler system pipes. I went to the front desk to ask what I should do, Sharif Wendless offered to walk next to my truck and hold up any pipes that I would have hit. ( Two flights) That is awesome customer service. I loved everything about my stay here. This place is peaceful, clean, and the service was excellent! From the front desk, to housekeeping, and the ladies running the bar, everything was perfect. It's about 20 mins or so away from everywhere which for a Californian is super close so I have zero complaints. The hotel is beautiful, my room was amazing and comfortable and they gave me waters upon check in which was much appreciated! I also love that my room had a mini fridge. I always feel that's the least hotels can do! Anyways I'll definitely stay here again if given the opportunity and I highly recommend! read more

Came in July, our room was ~$250 a night, which I thought was way too expensive, but I guess it is a Marriott. It was nice, modern, and clean, and around 30 to 40 mins from Philly. We only stayed one night, and there were like 4 wedding parties at the same time, so there were lots of people. Overall the hotel is nice, and the staff was nice. read more

The hotel was easy to locate and check-in and check out went smoothly but the issue was that I left two shirts behind after check out. I called the same day as check out, the main desk who put me through to housekeeping, no one picked up and left a message giving my room number, name and phone number but never received a call back. Not a significant issue but the courtesy of a call back would have shown to me that they make an effort to listen and assist their customers. read more

Stayed here after my daughters wedding 11/0522. our check-in people couldn't have been nicer. When we got there after the wedding we went to the restaurant/bar and I was appalled at the treatment we got at the bar! The barmaid was miserable and treated my guest from the wedding poorly. She was condescending and ignorant and half of the people left. If she received any tips that night it must have been out of pure mistake. If you want your hotel to succeed I suggest you get rid of your restaurant people I really wanted to know why she was a bartender she had as much social skills as a mountain lion. The drinks were over priced and were not good! I have another wedding in October with just as big as a guest list and I can assure you we will never go to your establishment again. read more

Stayed here because my brother was graduating from Rosemont College (which was 8 minutes away). It smelled so good when we walked into the lobby, it smelled like a spa. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. We were told that they were working on the plumbing and we wouldn't have water for a couple of hours which was ok because we were headed right back out to do some shopping. When we returned the water was on. In the morning around 6am we were awakened by the rattling/banging of pipes, which we figured they were still working on the plumbing but it made me a bit angry because I was exhausted and I felt as though that was inconsiderate of the guests. The room decor pretty modern and we had panoramic windows on 2 sides of our room. The bed was comfy but it's something about Marriotts pillows that I do not like, they always make my neck hurt. There is a fridge but no safe in the room. There were no robes. There is a Legends restaurant in the lobby which serves a buffet breakfast and then you can order from the menu for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. You also can order room service which is the same in room dining items at pretty much all the Marriott hotels across the area. There is a Wawa and McDonalds within walking distance directly across the street. There is a parking garage for standard size vehicles and then a parking lot for oversized vehicles, which was great for our conversion van. All in all it was a pretty good, clean hotel. read more

This property is a little dated, with some touches of modern. There is nothing spectacular about this place, but there is nothing really bad at the same time. It's a safe bet to stay at, but don't expect to be wowed. Rooms: typical layout with a desk, sitting chair, dresser, and beds. Bathroom: Toilet and shower in bathroom with sink/basin in the main living area. Location: Easy access from highway with considerable selection of restaurants nearby. Pros: - Fridge in the room. - Very friendly/helpful staff at check-in - Remodeled main lobby area; classy - Contemporary / modern style in rooms (perhaps recently remodeled) Cons: - Ice machine broken on 7th floor - Only one bar of soap for sink and shower - Uncomfortable bedding - Some minor mold in shower I travel a ton and get to see it all. This review is based solely on their conference space and lunch, as I did not stay in a room. That being said, after my experience, I wouldn't have any concerns! Attending a mutli-day conference in the same hotel always has me worried. Am I going to be locked in a room without windows and no easier means of escape? Am I going to get the same (bad) food for lunch and dinner? Am I going to be treated like a 2nd-class citizen since I'm not staying at the hotel? Marriott answered all these negatives with a solid no, we got you covered. Yes, the chairs got a bit uncomfortable, but with the amount of room provided, it was easy to stretch my legs and even easier to head outside during our limited breaks. And while the food was no 5-star restaurant, it not only pleasantly surprised me with its quality but its variety as well. Finally, the staff - from the bartenders to the bell hops - took care of everyone with equal friendly and accountability. While the location might not be prime for hitting the city, if you're in Conshy and need a place to stay, Marriott West is ready. read more

This hotel used to be my go to property for about 2 years as I traveled to philly for business every week. Well I am done with this place now. Management changed in mid 2018 and all the staff slowly changed over and not for the better. (1) garage used to be free, but not it's not. There is nowhere else to park. (2) air conditioning was not working, guy came up and replaced the unit. No heat in the winter at night! How is this acceptable! Front desk staff like a deer in the headlights. (3) I stopped going to the lounge because of the person who manages it (Luigi). Every time I come up he hugs me, that inappropriate and unacceptable behavior with the customer. To be honest I feel harassed. He is a nice guy, but this is way too much. (4) qualify of foot is gross and has gone downhill. I got chicken it was pure fat and redic. (5) rates went up by about 30-40% which is insane provided location. Just terrible experience. Try to avoid this place read more

I can always trust the Marriott brand for a well-kept, modern and well equipped room. The bed is super comfortable and frankly I can't find anything at all wrong with the room. My roommate and I stayed one night here at the Marriott West before our scheduled medical licensure exams the next morning. I think this hotel impressed me for a number of reasons: 1) We didn't know about the medical student discount before we booked the hotel but they added it anyway. Instead of paying over $200 for 2 double full beds, I think we paid $189. Via the NBOME website, stated prices ranged from $110-140. 2) The wifi said that it would cost us $9.95 to connect but the front desk said we didn't have to pay for it. 3) The concierge room on the 16th floor is probably the most posh hotel lounge that we've been too, design-wise, with ambiance lighting, mating colors, tvs.  They served assorted desserts (cookies and brownies), nuts, alcohol, coffee, tea, other assorted drinks from the evening 'til 10pm and my roommate and I felt a little unsure about whether it was okay to eat some of the free items.  The night concierge Luigi was very friendly and helpful.  We were so unused to good service and little embarassed about the "freeloading." We also met another student from New York who was taking the test. There were even more options during breakfast and it was a high-quality meal as well - oatmeal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, all sorts of condiments, granola, Wheaties, fruit (melons, strawberries, bananas, apples), grapefruits juice/orange juice/cranberry juice, yogurt, just to name a few.  4) Free bottled water in the hallways.  5) The facilities were modern and clean. They had a computer room with a printer which we used to check in and print our boarding passes. 6) There was also a pool and work-out room as well as a bar lounge that we didn't have time to check out but I'm sure they would have been top of the line as well. 7) It was in a very convenient location, one minute driving from our testing center and 10 min walking. Although a little confusing to find at night, it is to the right of the Lukoil gas station if that makes it easier to spot. 8) Plenty of parking. It was a little annoying to have to drive all the way down, all 3 ground floors to get out though. If I have a few complaints, it would be that we didn't have double sinks in our room and our bathtub was somewhat clogged. The A/C and heat also can get quite loud at night so don't let it scare you or wake you up. I'm use the concierge also has earplugs you could have. I would highly recommend staying here if you are an osteopathic student from out of town looking to take your COMLEX PE. read more

A last minute change brought me to this hotel for a recent business trip. Pretty average hotel, nothing negative and nothing fabulous to point out. The front desk staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. I did not dine in the restaurant so I cannot speak for the food. Not much for local dining options that are walkable in this area. The room was clean and spacious. I had a high floor with a view of the highway. The bed was firmer than I'd prefer but it was fine for a short stay. read more
