This spot is the best meal in the area we had. Their ingredients and the combination of flavors are above and beyond. We loved the grilled pb and apple sammy, the sun bum grilled sammy and the egg salad sammy. Lots of healthy smoothie and smoothie bowl options too. Great for a hot day. Cute coffee shop not far from the beach! They offer coffee and tea as well as some other drinks you can purchase from the cooler. They offer sandwiches and salads for lunch and have breakfast as well. I walked un and was acknowledged right away even though the barista was waiting on others. Everything looked amazing but we had already had lunch so was just in for a quick dose of caffeine. I grabbed a cold brew and it was fantastic, dark and full of flavor. Price point is comparable to other coffee shops. Heads up, they close at 3, so plan accordingly! Tons of seating inside and decorated really well with keeping with the moon/night vibe. Marsh Moon was just what I needed after almost a week of a malfunctioning coffee pot at our rental. And they had oatmilk which is my preferred milk alternative for lactose intolerance. I ordered an iced mocha with oatmilk. They also have some bakery items and sandwiches. The cake pops were extremely cute and my daughter enjoyed hers. My order came out quickly and was delicious. The place has a cool vibe, music and logo. They also had an area with books and my daughter immediately went to a Pete the Cat book which I read to her while enjoying my coffee. It was a nice touch so she wasn't too bored. I only wish I had visited sooner! read more

We love that you can just walk over (from the beach) to this tiny strip mall and choose pizza, mexican, or sandwiches all at the same place. VERY cool. We went to each restaurant, glanced around, then quickly decided on Marsh Moon Cafe. And we're SO glad we did. Moon's men were friendly and (most importantly) flexible. We were able to customize a tuna sandwich on wheat and add bacon and cheddar without issue. Yes, we're "that guy," but the young lads rolled with it. Great little sandwich. The tuna/mayo ratio was perfect and we quickly refueled before our 3rd quarter at the beach. And yes, the corn salsa (salad?) was also great with a little hot sauce. Cute little coffee shop. Love to see a good local coffee shop at the beach and this one has a cute vibe inside. I enjoyed the iced vanilla latte and came back another day for another one! We also got the iced coffee growler since one of the people we were with is local; overall didn't feel like it was worth the price but it was nice to be able to take cold brew to go and have it for a few days read more

How disappointing! We showed up at 8:24am, and both Yelp and the sign on the door said they open at 7:00, but the door was locked and no lights were on. There was no note on the door to give any reason why they'd be closed, so it makes me feel like this place keeps odd hours or could be inconsistent. Literally one of the only local coffee shops, without driving an hour, so we were left frustrated and didn't have time to sit at the Seacow eatery that was very busy; likely because this place was t open. read more

The staff was super friendly and patient and joked along with us bc I was wearing a coffee-themed shirt. They have a huge menu and anything you can get at a big chain coffee shop, they have here. I got an iced vanilla latte, and my friend got a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. They also offer a food menu, baked goods, juices, smoothies, and bubble tea. We loved the Horchata Iced Coffee so much we went back three days in a row. Sadly, they were closed on one of them! Tip for Edisto: always, always, always double check if a place is open before you go. Luckily, every place is only five minutes away, so not a huge deal. My brother-in-law had The Tropical Sunrise smoothie (also twice) and thought it was delicious and refreshing. We didn't try any of the food, but it all sounds great. AND they have drink drinks! Mimosas and Bloody Mary's, or any other type of mixed drink you'd like. You're probably on vacation, a 10 am drink is just fine! While the sitting area was cute, as a Christian, all the New Age elements in this coffee shop made me very uncomfortable. Also, the coffee was mediocre and overpriced. Pleasantly surprised by the large menu at Marsh Moon Cafe! My husband is dairy free, and they had milk alternatives for him. My mother in law opted for a caffeine free, Frappuccino, and they were so sweet in meeting all of our dietary needs! I wish they were open 7 days a week, because we would have gone daily! read more

Thank goodness for this place. I'm vegan and was not optimistic about my options when visiting edisto with my family. Happened upon marsh moon and was pleasantly surprise by their menu! I got the chickpea salad sandwich which was great. My sister got a yummy smoothie and I believe they had other vegan options besides this. My latte was good but pretty pricey. very sad about how my stop here turned out! coffee was good but i ordered a bagel and it took so long i had to leave without getting it, when i told the workers i had an event to get to they said "what do you want us to do?". they were not friendly even when taking my order, and the cafe was very dark and not the typical calm coffee shop i would expect from a small business on an island. very disappointed:( really wanted to love it read more
