Good location - close to Coffeebar and Zareens. Often full, but price is reasonable.

Park at the Moon…read more City-run parking garage located in the heart of Downtown Redwood City. We discovered this place by accident after driving around endlessly looking for street parking on a random Saturday, and boy was it a real gem! The Good: * The first 90 minutes are free! My favorite price. :) * 4 hours of parking are free with movie validation at the next-door Century 20. * While street parking was at a premium, this place had tons of it. * Rates are fairly inexpensive at $1/hr for off-peak hours and $2.50/hr for peak hours. The Meh: * No license plate readers, so you have to carry around that stupid little ticket. * Rates go up at certain "premium" hours. The Ugly: * While street parking is free on holidays, it is NOT in the parking garage. So be aware of this. Conclusion: This will be our new go-to parking spot when visiting DT RWC.

Jefferson Avenue / Century Theater Parking Garage Downtown…read moreRedwood City This is hands-down one of the most clutch parking spots in the Peninsula, especially if you're headed to the movies, brewery hopping, or catching a UFC event live at Ghostwood. Me and my Aussie MMA partner-in-crime made the executive call to park here before UFC 317 (Topuria vs. Do Bronx), and it delivered. The P2 level was already filling up before the prelims, and you could spot a whole army of fight night regulars migrating through the back alley toward Ghostwood Brewery. It was like the underground railroad for high fight IQ fans. Parking Perks * Free for the first 90 minutes * Credit cards accepted * EV charging stations * Plenty of space (P1 and P2 levels) * Around $2.50 for each additional hour after the free window (check posted signs) Forget the overpriced metered parking or circling Broadway in desperation--this is the real move if you're staying under 90 minutes or just want a solid, central location. Prime Location Right in the heart of downtown, with: * Century 20 Cinemark Theater (directly upstairs) * Ghostwood Brewery (1-minute walk through the alley) * Juva Dispensary * Nearby shops, restaurants, ice cream spots, and bars What Others Are Saying * "Clean and safe. Never had issues." * "Perfect for movie nights or downtown visits." * "Huge garage, free time is a plus. Gets packed during events, so arrive early." Yelp and Google reviewers echo the same vibe: convenient, dependable, and surprisingly underrated. Pro Tips * Pull in from Jefferson Ave for easiest access * If P2 fills up, keep heading forward to reach the P1 entrance * Weekend nights get busy--arrive 20 to 30 minutes early for big events * Don't mess with street meters--this is your stealth move

However, a lot of riff raff and rough people because this is where Caltrain bumps off non-paying riders and unhygienic homeless people. Lots of strangers hanging out at all hours, but none of them particularly dangerous. No toilets, no restrooms, no water, only benches. Tolerable if you are waiting for a train. Now featuring a Lot Cop for reduced car break-ins. Original Greyhound Terminal now owned and operated by Samtrans. No Public Access and No Greyhound service, but is an interesting building to look at. Makes we wish we had regional bus service to the Coast, it would connect well with Caltrain. NOTE ! Greyhound does still serve Redwood City one block away at 850 Winslow Street .. outside an abandoned store. At 12 AM Only. With service like this you're better off taking Samtrans or Caltrain. I used the "Throne" branded "free" toilet paid by my tax money. The entry process with the QR code and SMS text message was interesting, but functional. Of writing, this is a brand new, unused unit with no graffiti, trash or discoloration. TP was fully stocked, all plumbing/electrical worked and the toilets/sink function as expected with clean water. Fully ADA Compliant with NO issues with the access ramp.

To say that we were satisfied by Derek Turner and his staff would be a complete understatement. We…read moreused Precision Parking for my sister's graduation party at our house. We mainly wanted valet parking services because of necessity unlike most people who use it as a luxury or to add a nice touch. It is impossible to park outside our house and we live at the top of a hill so we wanted to use valet parking to make it easier for our guests. First, let's start from the beginning, there is no automated voice answering machine when you call the office. Nothing is a bigger let down in customer service in this era of new technology than some computer voice saying, "Press 1 for da-da-da..." In addition, he also provides his cell phone number. It doesn't get ANY better than that. I can't tell you how frustrating it is when you need to reach the service owner immediately and it's night and the only number you have is their office phone. I haven't even met Derek in person; the entirity of the service was done via phone/email. However, make no mistake, he comes HIMSELF to visit your residence to survey the area. I didn't meet him during that visit because I was out-of-town, yet my mom talked with him and she was very pleased. Fast-forward to a week before the event, Derek gives me a quote for the services to be delivered. I found it a bit on the high side, but he had ABSOLUTELY no problem negotiating and I managed to pay a price I was VERY comfortable with. The day of the event, guest after guest commented on how EXTREMELY courteous the staff was. They greeted all of our guests with a "Welcome to the graduation party." and did a superb job with parking the cars. In the end, when there were only a few guests left, I told the valet drivers they could leave after the rest of the cars were brought back. They were one step ahead, all of the remaining cars were parked in front of the house and they had the keys ready to give to me. Whenever we plan to use valet services in the future, which will definitely be a must because again, it is more of a necessity with our residence, we will definitely look to Precision Parking again!
