Dr. Denious delivered my baby via C-Section last tuesday. This was by far my best C-section surgery ( I have had 3). Although I cannot opinion for the more recent years at Marshall Medical center, not so long ago, the care that my girls have had while under Dr. Christiansen's office has been nothing short of I wouldn't have preferred to go any where else. We have been there for the better part of 17 year's. Dr Christiansen has been my oldest daughter's doctor since she was 6 months old; she is almost 19 years old now. Dr. Christiansen talks to the parents in plain English, black and white, rather than in 9 letter million dollar wording. Being a doctor doesn't mean being a miracle worker. But being a good doctor takes more than a Doctorate degree. HE does care for his patients, and parents alike. What and how he operates his family doesn't pertain to how he conducts his business as a doctor. The team work that originally started between Angie and Dr. Christiansen at Marshall Medical center will be greatly missed, by not only my family but many who have entrusted in their care over these not so long ago years. read more

Dr. Christianson is a manipulator and will say anything to get you to stay strict to his vaccination schedule, including "you don't care about your children" if you don't do as he says. When having a more in depth conversation about vaccines he agrees he would not even give some to his own children.. but then continues to push it on his patients. And if you do not comply will simply ignore and not reschedule you. He does not care about the well being of the children that come through his door he only cares about his paycheck. Has refused a mother to separate her 1 year old shots . Argued with her that she didnt get them done when in fact she had gotten them done. Would not explain exactly what was in the shots that the child was receiving. Another L for marshall. Lets be a little more open with health care of these children. Oh and past experience was put on antidepressants as a 16 without knowing the consequences and risks that it would get worse . It definitely got worse . Doctor was Courtney Lacaze-adams. All she ever talked about was how to make my skin better . read more

They are strictly in compliance with the CDC vaccination schedule. If your child is not perfectly on time with immunizations, they will refuse care. This facility has no actual care for children and is obviously driven by bonuses / reimbursement from insurance companies. Both times that I've called, the first thing they ask is if your child is vaccinated.... They are awfully aggressive about it. Before I made the effort to switch my daughter's PCP and establish care here, it would have been nice if the first person I talked to told me about this policy (even after I explained my situation to her). Super frustrating because now I have to switch her doctor again. read more

Dr. Overman and the staff are amazing! They took the time to understand our concerns and they seemed to care their patients a lot. No need to wait if you have an appointment and the process is very efficient. read more

Please get someone new to answer the phone, the woman I talked to was so rude. Makes me miss Kaiser haha but because we live in Camino we're out of their range. I loved the dr, he was awesome! I don't know if the person who answers the phone is the receptionist, but the receptionist was rude as well. This office's service has gotten worse over the last year. I have had my children here for 15 years and just this past year, I have had prescriptions not filled when I was told they were called in, taken a week or more to schedule an appointment, a lack of timely returned phone calls, etc. I appreciate Dr Christensen, and have no complaint of him, but rather his office and their lack of Customer Service. I am definitely looking at another office to care for my children. read more

I have taken our son in 3 times in the last two weeks for various newborn appointments and have had a wonderful experience here so far. My husband and I met with Dr. Christensen at Marshall Birth Center (he's our son's primary Dr.) but we have been seen by PNP Betzler as well as Dr. Rendla. I would feel very comfortable recommending any of them. I especially want to give a shout out to Dr. Rendla, who was so thorough and reassuring after we had our son circumcised - we appreciated his knowledge and his positive demeanor, and it made us feel really glad that we chose Marshall Ped for this procedure. It's apparent that each of the providers we have seen really care about their patients, which of course makes taking your kid to the doctor a less-stressful experience. I'm only docking a star because we left a message for the on-call doctor over the weekend and never received a call back; luckily we had an appointment the following Monday so it wasn't a huge issue... still for first time parents, it would have been nice to receive a response. read more

Dr. Hacker was fantastic. I'm sad he's retired, but very happy for him. We was the doctor of all three of my kids, he was smart, kind, competent and helpful. Seeing him was a true joy. I will seriously miss him. A truly wonderful man has left the practice and I'm very sad about that. Truly wonderful doctor and person. read more

Dr. Earl Washburn, M.D. is a wonderful doctor! He's chosen his profession well. He is not only extremely competent; he speaks to his little patients and their big parents with great care and confidence. We had to find a pediatrician while visiting family in Placerville over the holidays. I so wish he was our doctor at home. Hummm??? Maybe we ought to move there!!!? The receptionist at the front is short and rude every time we visit. Besides her sharp tongue, the doctors are friendly and professional. Please hire an individual who actually likes their job, and is respectful to others. The front office reception is a facility's first impression. read more

Marshall Pediatrics in Placerville, CA is hands down the WORST medical office I have ever dealt with in my ten years as a mother of three children. I have never had such lazy customer service as well as lack of care when it comes to my children's health. On three separate occasions they have called to cancel my children's urgent doctor's appointments an hour prior to the actual appointment. I commute three hours a day and to get my children in to see their doctor requires an hour and a half of driving one way. As a single mother my time is precious and my children's health is even more so. Specifically the doctor's I am referring to are Dr. Milroy and Dr. Petersen. Not only do these doctor's have a lack of care when it comes to children's health they are arrogant on top of it. I hope Marshall Pediatrics understands why they have such a negative stigma attached to them and hopefully self reflect and learn what proper customer service is. Good luck! read more

Dr. Christiansen is a very good pediatrician . I had a lot of new mother questions and he listened patiently and answered them all . He was very helpful with everything and I would definitely recommend him to everyone ! Let me start by saying I'm a nurse. I have worked with many doctors, hospitals, and office staff for 17 years. So I have experienced the good,bad,and the ugly. My experience with this place of business has been ugly. I was trying to establish care for my child having moved from out of town. There was nothing wrong with the child. They were glad to see him. I got a bill for $145 sense they could not figure out a code to use to establish care. My insurance was more than willing to pay for visit but the provider could not supply a code. I decided to take my child to the family practice Doctor my husband and I both see, also a Marshall physician in a different office. I was told I could not be seen for a well child visit until I establish care which if there was nothing wrong with my child would be coded as such and I would have to pay the $145 again! I was then told to see care else where. So now I will have to drive out of town for my child's doctors visits! Many of the office and billing staff that I had to speak with were rude and unwilling to help me in any way. How unfortunate for us to have such a place here locally. read more
