Since I was going to be spending a week there I decided to make a trip to her store so I could see these beautiful African prints for myself. I went in looking for possibly a jumper or a pant or a maxi skirt. The prints I really wanted weren't available so I perused what was. The owner greeted me and gave me a tour of where everything was. She was doing some work in the back and that was fine because I prefer to figure out what I want. She did suggest a one shoulder type dress that I didn't consider at first because I don't like my arms out (I'm working that part of my body image). I tried on a number and a pair of pants. I was sold on both but the pants were calling me more. When I decided to see how kind the mirror would be, I decided the pants were coming home with me but though I'd grab that dress to try on because, hey, it couldn't hurt right? I. Am. So. Glad. I. Did. That dress looked amazing on me. It was so very flattering that I didn't mind my one arm being exposed. I felt flirty and feminine (I'm more of a tomboy). The African print was beautiful and the colors so flattering. I decided on the dress instead. of course, when I got home I regretted leaving those pants. I will definitely be back to get those pants and I'll definitely be back to see what else comes in.

All of the "normal" items on wall displays, shelves, and countertops. These are the items they keep in stock for the most part. This is on the first floor that everyone has access to. Joseph came to us as we were looking around and asking about getting established for the more hard to get items. This is when the experience got really cool, as he took us upstairs. It felt like it was a special place that many others may not know about or get to see. Lot's of nice high end items and bags. Tho the bags that require waiting lists, they only have "samples" hiding in the back. Joseph got out the Kelly and the Birkin. Of all of the bags that my wife was looking at today at this Beverly Hills in Dallas, I liked these the most, as the bags were elegant but didn't have any crazy emblems or some outstanding signature item that screams "look at me" when you walk around with it. It's a bag for a personal decision, the personal knowledge of knowing you have the best without showcasing or trying to be a stand out. Joseph was so helpful, so friendly, and very attentive to my wife and what she was eyeballing. He offered to show her anything she took an interest in, it didn't matter what it was. She now has his number to message and send pics of any items she finds so that he can try and locate it. He was with her from the time we walked in to the time we left. We didn't buy anything this day, tho he was very helpful in explaining that if she sees a bag, they a put her name on it when it shows up. Those that don't know, these are hand made and high end. Her sizing is a laughable joke as she provides no measurements just models that you're supposed to pick which one is closest to your size and go from there. But don't worry most of her items are vanity sized and she boasts they fit S-XXL just pick a size depending on how much room you need. If all that wasn't bad enough she posts her personal business on Facebook and Instagram and Tik Tok regularly and let me just say her entire persona is extremely offensive. Her coupon codes never work and she always blames her soon to be ex husband who isn't even affiliated with her business. She also frequently posts customer names and addresses on her Instagram! When I was checking out, the cashier asked whether anyone had assisted me so they could receive credit. I explained that no one had helped me or even acknowledged me. Rather than offering an apology or addressing the concern, the cashier proceeded with the transaction without comment and handed me my receipt--no apology, no closing remark, no acknowledgment. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had, particularly as a Black woman spending my money in a retail establishment. Good suit selection here, giving it 3 stars because I have a sensitive nose and the right half of the store smells very strongly for some reason. This isn't the only suit store to be like this - a few others that were not well ventilated had the same issue, and some didn't at all.
