After waiting ONE YEAR for an MRI on my seriously painful back, after epidurals & opiates, bc the orthopedic doc wouldn't see me without one, I had to call orthopedics & bc they knew me from other ailments, I got a PA appointment so she could order the MRI for me. FINALLY! I don't have a rotator cuff bc the doc I had then waited too long to get me the care I needed. My bad shoulder became worse to where even surgery can't fix it. I asked the doctor if he had gotten me care sooner would I be without a cuff. His answer? PROBABLY (with a shrug like, "yeah, & your point is?") I only go there bc I have to.

I guess?…read more Finally got through to the ER nurse, who then told me "shift was changing" and to "Call back in 30 minutes" --this is an emergency... THEN I call back and they tell me they don't take calls until 10 am. SO... I guess if your parent has an emergency, you can call within set hours, but not while they're changing, and not before or after certain times so if you want an update, good fucking luck. Shit staff.

Nayeda wasn't even my nurse but I flagged her down from my bed in the hallway because I had been siting there for hours with no one checking on me (I had a male nurse with a reddish scrub cap on). Thank God Nayeda stoped and started helping me because it turns out I would end up needing two blood transfusion. My male nurse just dismissed my symptoms but Nayeda took them seriously. She was comforting and add some much needed humor, she was a God sent. Chelsea was truly amazing and made me feel at ease when I was scared. She was born to be in this industry. The only negative is I wish the doctors would have been more attentive. I was in the ER about 16 hours and I think I only saw my doctor the last 30 minutes I was there.

I am so grateful to have had my baby boy here and I truly was sad to leave just because of how amazing all the staff was to me, my husband and baby. One night I was struggling with breastfeeding and the nurses dropped everything and spent about 2 hours with me in the middle of the night to help me figure out what worked best for me and baby. I will forever recommend Marshall Birth Center to anyone that wants to have a hospital birth with as little to as much medical intervention. They are so supportive of your wishes with how you want things to go and if they dont end up going as planned, like in my case, they are very informative walking you through the process so you feel comfortable with the unexpected change.
