It is kind of an island unto itself. Which is great if you come here just to visit Target, but not always the greatest thing if you wanted to stop at multiple establishments while out. Unless you are up for some walking. I was on vacation, and even though I was basically stopping here to have something to do, I ended up browsing around the store to grab a few things. Things that I needed, but wasn't necessarily out of. Kind of like a restock the cupboards run so I don't have to do it later. The store was nicely stocked, maybe it was because of my time of visit, which was early in the day. I was able to navigate around and leisurely browse. Checking out I chose the self checkout registers. Not a bad distraction on a day I didn't have anything planned for.

This location is heavily used. It is jam packed with items that we all come to expect from a TJ Maxx. I immediately went to the home goods section as I was looking for some gadgets and storage. I need to up my game when it comes to prepping and cooking. I went through everything they had to offer. I was half tempted to buy several items, but I brough myself back to my senses because I knew now was not the time to do so. Although, I'm kicking myself over this, because I doubt I will what I saw at the same price any time soon. I mulled over a few items, picked them up and walked around with them. So I just walked in the store, ready to get interviewed so I showed the security guard my confirmation email/text but the manager said, "we're not hiring and we use a third party." That disappointed and embarrassed me, I don't understand why they would do this. Why are you advertising a job listing when you aren't hiring people? It's not only an embarrassment and humiliation on my part but to the other applicants who applied for this job listing. The ultimate intention of this post is to alert people that not every job listing is true and that the company should be more transparent and factual when posting said job listing and if they're not hiring people, they should email the applicants politely saying that they're not hiring. Edit: I'm a college student and I applied to this job as a part-time worker. The management didn't allow me to sit down with me to explain how come they weren't hiring.

They don't always have what I'm looking for but they have a lot of options to choose from. I appreciate the quality of the items I find. I feel the value matches the price! It is managed by the Simon Property Group that manages many malls across the country. The mall is home to over 120 stores and has Dick's Sporting Goods, J. C. Penney, Kohl's, Macy's, and Macy's Home Store. as it anchors. I visited this mall on a Thursday night in mid-December and it was. pretty empty. Santa Claus was there though. What stuck out to me the most about the mall was how clean it was. It was very clean and updated. It had a play area for kids and you will find stores such as Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, GameStop, Build a Bear, Foot Locker, Journey, Hot Topic, Spencer's, The Children's Place, Pandora, Zales, Finish Line, Claires, Sip and Paint and Victoria's Secret. There is also an AMC movie theater, a selfie museum and post office there too. It should be noted that the Charles County Government plans on opening a Sports and Wellness complex in the old Sears location very soon. The opening date has not been announced yet. In addition to a vistit from Santa the mall hosts the Easter Bunny, Financial Workshop for Children, Animal Shelter Pet Adoptions, Maryland Kids in Safety Seats event, Game nights and hiring events. You will find a fair selection of eateries that feature America's Best Wings, Charley's, Auntie Annes, Sabarro, Ocean Blue Grill, Jeff's Burgers, Haagen-Dazs, Asian Chao and Cinnabon. I will admit that the mall has a well documented history of thefts, and violent acts including shootings and stabbings, but I did not feel unsafe during my visit.
