A massive department store with a little of everything and definitely in direct competition with TJ Maxx and Ross. I love browsing and seem to always find something that I want but really dont need. A shocking find were these ugly Christmas hoodie sweaters (i think they were intentionally supposed to be ugly, but not positive). The red sweater with Diet Coke and Christmas trees was so soft but seems slightly feminine for me to actually wear but it was unique for only $24.99. A few other interesting ones but wanted a little more of a Male decor to buy it. If you're a collector of Hot Wheels, they have an entire table of raceways, cars and trucks. Women were eye balling the Michael Kors and DKNY purses but they were on electronic lockdown for theft prevention and assistance was needed to handle the purses beyond the table display. read more

This Marshalls resides inside the Coral Ridge Mall in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It's a relatively large department store. I'm not sure if their selections were picked over or what when my girls and I went shopping here on June 7, 2024, but the pickings were slim. Some girls' items were missing from sets. I even saw a few articles of clothing that were torn. This is a discount store, not a second-hand store. C'mon, Marshalls. The wait to checkout moved slower than TJ Maxx just a short jaunt away, plus there were more folks shopping at TJM. The dressing room was a bit messy. Nice mirrors, though. I've been shopping at this store forever. I have more than a half dozen check-ins and I'm sure I've been here many more times (I don't check in everywhere every time). So, I was surprised that I didn't have a previous review showing. Sometimes I just stop by to browse. I've often done quite well here finding a particular new top or pair of shoes. I have their group credit card and earn points which can be used at several stores, so that's also an incentive to shop here. We come often to the Coral Ridge shopping center as we frequent the Target and the Old Navy stores, as well. Although we also have been to the TJ Maxx store in the same mall, for some reason I find a better selection of clothing here. This visit, I was just checking out their clearance section for some long sleeve tops before the "winter" season ends and also stopping by to see what new stock they'd gotten in the store. In my search for a good pillow at a good price, I was happy with the prices at Marshall's. The selection was not as good as TJ Maxx, but there plenty of options. You can find many types of textures, fabric, brands and prices...most of them were in the $20-35 range (for king size pack of 2). So I decided to keep looking.... to make sure I got the best deal..... On the way out, I saw some nice patio chairs at a great price and also some men's underwear that looked stylish and well priced. read more

The survive wasn't grate at check out tried to return shoes I never worn just put on ones in store to see how they fit. I was told that they looked used and worn out even though that the way they sold them to me tag and stickers still attached and looks new. I explained that people try on shoes in the store all the time and not all have brand new clean soles and offer to go see what I mean by showing worn out soles on shoes sold at store. They claim they would never sell shoes like that but I don't they go out and check shoes before closing either. The lady didn't budge still repeatedly claiming that I wore them. Had to talk to 3 different people before they decided to believe me sorta. But still making a comment that soles look terrible and they can't resell them didn't even though there was no problem when they were sold that way to me. If your ever there make sure that shoes are in good clean condition. Or maybe just skip out on the shoes there the experience itself isn't worth it even to save a couple bucks. read more

TLDR: Found some gems here. ____ I have found some amazing finds such as Polo shirts, button downs, nike hats, toiletry bags and sweaters here. But it's hit or miss. The store is usually organized. The mens section isn't very large, but it's got a good variety of long sleeve, short sleeve and tshirts. Fave finds? A Sandlot Tshirt, a Space Jam Tshirt and some short sleeve button down shirts from the brand Flower & Denim which make really cool and comfortable button down shirts. Staff is also hit or miss. Of the department stores of Coral Ridge Mall that deal in discounted clothing, pots, pans, linens, towels and various decorator items, Marshalls Department Store seems to be one of the better. At least it's better organized, items better displayed and absent the squalor of half ripped open or improperly labeled packages as found in Ross Dress for Less, and though you aren't going to find the higher end Purple, Blue or Black labels of the Ralph Lauren line of clothing, you will find his along with other brand name designer Polos and other articles of clothing at greatly reduced prices. Also, the general quality of goods seem to me superior to those retailed at Target or T J Maxx. Marshalls is also a big department store, actually rather huge in size with an extensive inventory of discounted items. read more

Large sized Marshall's. I found the store to be well stocked in the few departments we visited. We stopped by to search for beach dresses for my girls, but we had to leave fairly quickly due to an overpowering mold smell which was coming in through the a/c system (I think). Really disgusting and possibly hazardous. They should check this out before one of their employees gets sick. read more

This Marshalls is located in Coral Ridge Mall. I visited it yesterday. Nothing spectacular to mention, if I am being honest. I did not come across any staff, except the cashiers. The store is well laid out with mirrors throughout the store, so that you don't necessarily have to go to the changing room. No WiFi in this particular store. read more

I am a regular client of this Marshalls location and I always have a great experience. Today my cashier Desiree M didn't give a good service. She was very rude since the beginning and I asked her if she was having a bad day and she yelled at me in front of all the clients saying "what is the way that I supposed to treat you". I usually write positive reviews, but this time this cashier deserve it. Marshalls should work in training their people in having better customer service. I'm taking the time to write this review with the purpose of creating awareness in how important is to treat people right. read more

Very disappointed today! When I am home, I shop at my local Marshall's a couple times a week. So as I was killing time waiting for my hotel room to be ready, I walked around target, not realizing it was connected to the mall. As I had my infant in his carrier/car seat I pushed my target cart around the mall. Went in to Ross and shopped and them came upon Marshall's. Before I could even get in the door, my cart wheels locked up because of the setting on the security devices at Marshall's. I had no problem in other stores with my cart. So there I was, with my cart wheels locked up and my shopping bags, purse and baby who I now buckled back in his car seat and carried through the mall, back to target to retrieve another cart and to go to my car. A simple sign at the entrance that simply reads "carts from other stores may not enter or their wheels will lock" would have solved this issue. I understand the need for security to prevent theft. But at least let people know, not completely abandon a mother with a young child. Very disappointed Marshall's! read more

The staff is incompetent at best. They stand around gossiping and wait until the line is wrapped around the entire store. The cashier was very rude to me for no reason. Wouldn't say hi and made no contact but spoke to the customer (who happened to be of the same race) being waited on by another cashier. This place is a mess. And racist too! read more
