Horrible service, today Feb 1, 2026 at 6:40pm A women names Sharon at the register, was very rude and when I asked her to price check an item that did not have a tag, I gave her something similar to the item I wanted and she told one of the other workers to go check if another item was similar. Instead of using the first item the other worker brought to the front, she said the price was too cheap that the price needed to be higher and from the first similar item she brought was 35, the second was 50 so we decided to leave our whole purchase because we felt she wanted us to over pay and that was very rude and degrading read more

I have to say, the people that work here are extremely nice. I had a good experience here today, found some great Halloween stuff which was displayed perfectly. I also landed some great items in the swimmer section. It's hit or miss here. Sometimes there's great stuff and other times there's nothing. Just like every other store. But I really appreciate good attitudes and hard-working people, which seems to be the theme here. read more

Worst customer service at this Marshall's dept store . Rude not nice to customers they ignore you, not telling you anything about your issue .I found a pair of pant with no price but a small tag on it , asked at register cashier man he says right away can't sell you this it's a two piece I said ok I'll buy the set if you can find me the top he calls over a young worker who is slow as anything says oh we don't have the top ok can you get a manager she disappears and now I find another lady worker who says oh you have to find the top I said there is no too can I get a manager she disappears I go in front of store asking for manager this lady says what the problem ?? That's what they say What's the problem I l said I like to buy this pant, she takes it and leaves with the pant doesn't say anything I'm waiting 5 mins she walks pass me now and asked this other man can I sell her the pants he says no it has to be on floor for 7 days what kind of customer service is that , I will make sure no one goes there . Maybe Marshall owner should make sure all the workers go to a customer service class , otherwise no one will be going to this store by word of mouth . This location is my favorite Marshalls of all time. KARL LAGERFELD bags are super expensive everywhere else and I'm so happy to have found this gem. I found so many other Steve Madden bags but chose to take this one. read more

The cashier I got was rude & not inviting! I guess I would be to if I had to deal with/ these long lines. Place was cluttered & had too much selection. You would have to have a lot of time on your hands to go through the merchandise. Pricing is ok I feel like it should be cheaper. read more

This is a fairly large Marshall's. They used to have a pretty good shoe selection but now it is quite sparse. Their health and beauty aisles are more organized than most I've seen. If you're willing to hunt a bit, you can definitely find some gems in the clothing section. The checkout line gets quite long but moves quickly. read more

Stopped by to buy a cast iron pan but they were out. No Coffee grinder either. Did buy a dish rack and some other kitchen items. Price was good. The store is large, and seems clean and pretty organized. The lady organizing the shelves did not speak English, but after she understood what I was looking for, she was helpful and friendly. Ms Angela at this location is a miserable old woman. She pushed me to put the bags back on the shelf and when I said something to her she ignored me. I then told her she's rude then she apologized and was like omg it's not that serious. This establishment has a miserable employee problem. Much like the other Marshall locations and with TJMaxx (owned by the same people), if you're coming here for prices, then you're good - for anything else, you're getting a headache. This is the second area I know of that has a TJMaxx so close to their cousin Marshalls store. Unlike cross county, this location is at least a few blocks from their TJMaxx location. As mentioned, the prices are generally ok - some are good, some are just.....ok. The stocking is the real issue. Much like their cousin stores, areas inside here look like an indoor flea market. Not sure if this is their approach purposely, but it looks like crap. Some items you need to make sure are undamaged before purchasing. They do a poor job in stocking generally in this store, but they're related to TJ Maxx, so that explains quite a lot. There's also items in the wrong spots and with the wrong pricing, so make sure you know what you're getting before getting to the register. The staff are ok - nothing special, but ok. I didn't buy anything from here, so no comments about the register experience. Located in an annoying parking lot filled with people who act like vultures with the closest spots and congest the lot instead of merely walking a few extra feet. They share the space with several stores - CVS, Trader Joe's, Best Buy among them. The parking spaces are plentiful enough, but it's the other patrons and their lack of driving/navigating skills you'd need to watch for. All in all, ok for the prices. Everything else here sucks. read more

Wtf no refunds without a receipt? They're acting like they're doing me a favor by giving me an unwanted store credit. Note to Marshalls: wake up and join the 21st century. You should be able to issue a refund with just the card I used like every other major business in the world. read more

This Marshall's is disgusting, mainly because of the rude staff that this establishment employs. First off, there were NO WOMEN'S SHORTS when I visited, and it was only a few weeks before summer. Why are there no shorts for women but there were for men? Sexist? Second, the choice of clothing for young adults versus grown adults, let's just say, there was a huge disparity. There were barely any clothes for teens and young adults. All the clothes looked like they came straight from the 1950s. Don't get me started on the RUDE, judgmental workers at the dressing room. My friend and I tried on some clothes while visiting this store. When we exited the dressing rooms, we gave the two dressing room attendants the clothes we would not be purchasing. They thought we were stealing because one of the clothing items was not entirely reattached to the hanger. It was an honest mistake and we did not take any clothing item with us or steal anything. The women looked at us funny and then started talking shit about us in another language. Unfortunately for them, we understood the language, it actually was our native tongue growing up. I don't appreciate the assumption that we were stealing because we are young adults and also assuming we cannot speak another language due to how we look. I will never be returning to this atrocity of a store, and a store with an even more atrocious staff. Do not come here unless you want to be treated like dirt on the bottom of your shoe. read more

I worked there for a few weeks, before resigning for various reasons, including being treated horribly by my manager. I never received my first paycheck because apparently they put in the wrong address, after I gave them the correct one multiple times. I spoke to my former manager a few days after I left, and she refused to replace the check after denying that the company made any error with the address. I left in May, and I'm still talking to various people about getting it replaced. It is now September. Never going there again. read more

This Marshalls is really messy. Clothes racks have so much clothes on them that you can barely move some aside to take a look at a piece! They have a great selection of name brand shoes for cheap. Although I found it hard to find my small size. They do have a larger collection for larger sizes though (like sizes 8+). read more

Today was the last day I will ever shop here after a string of unpleasantness from one particular cashier who always seems to be having a bad day and thinks it's acceptable to take it out on the customers. After spoken to rudely once again, I asked to speak to a manager who was dismissive and offered a half hearted apology while turning to the cashier and saying, "don't worry about it." What a mess. Racks so stuffed with clothes hard to move and slide. Clothes all over the floor,stuff misplaced. The workers seem overwhelmed. Nice selection of clothes,but never able to find my size of course.Stuff for home, shoes, kitchen items etc etc. Look around cause you may find Something you can use. Lines move quick which is good.A variety of goods for adults and kids Is big reason families like shopping at this place. Marshall must do a better job of keeping this place neat and clean if they want to attract more shoppers,cause you can really find some good bargains.Also don't lose your receipt for returns,exchanges or refunds or you might have trouble with returning an item. Free parking is a plus. Weekdays less people means less stuff scattered on floor and you have a better chance to find what you are looking for. read more

I a huge fan of Marshalls, but this specific location is horrible. The level of customer service here is completely unacceptable. Recently I tried to return a pair of pants without the receipt, but with the Marshall's tag still on. These pants were in perfect condition, never worn, tag on. That said, I was informed by the manager of the store that they could not accept the return because it was not coming up in their computer. This despite the fact that I bought the pants there and the tag was still on the garment. I said fine, just give me a store credit for he lowest sale price in the last 12 months...but she refused and was VERY RUDE to me. I spend a lot of money at Marshalls and have returned many items over the years and have never been spoken to in such a rude way BY THE MANAGER OF THE STORE, no less. I asked for her first and last name, so I could contract corporate and complain, but she refused to divulge her last name...she said just tell them you spoke to the manager. This Manager could barely speak English and proceeded to tell me that I was giving her a "hard time." I pointed to the return policy posted on the wall, but she just danced around and made excuses. I could understand if the tag was not on, or of the pants were not in new condition, but there really was just no reason for her attitude and disrespect for me. Of course, I went to another Marshalls location and they refunded the pants, for store credit, without any trouble. Moreover, the line at this location is typically long, despite seeing employees hanging around seemingly doing nothing. The cloths are all over the place, really messy, as evidenced by the other reviews on here. I think Marshalls is a great chain and offers incredible value, but this location is a bit of a dump. read more

Personally I enjoy this Marshalls, I am upset to see that others had such problems. I will agree that it is annoying when you want to return something that they cannot just look it up on your card account with them and tj maxx. Marshalls on Central Ave is a great store! They have great sales on fabulous designer clothes, shoes and accessories. Their children's department is also great. I've purchased name brand outfits here that I would otherwise not be able to afford. The store is clean, the location is great and the parking lot isn't hectic. read more
