You know there are some gifts you receive and you know they would just sit in the corner and collect dust. Instead of regifting somewhere down the line, I decided to return the item and get a store credit. I was not expecting much. Maybe $8 since the item was marked for clearance. I went on a weekday, so lines were not long. All I had to do was provide my driver's license once the item's currenr value was looked up. I was given the physical gift card and off I went to see what bargains I could find. This Marshalls is very organized and the sections for Clearance are marked for clothes but you will find hidden items that are on clearance here and there for example home goods. There is a huge clearance section towards the left back of store, but it really a dig. Overall, the experience was enjoyable- especially for a self.proclaimed hater of shopping such as myself. But I do like bargains, and you will be surprised at some finds at Marshalls of you have a little time and patience to look for them.. read more

Had an absolutely terrible experience at this location last Friday. Was checked out by the store manager, and she had the absolute worst attitude. She was obviously frustrated and annoyed by the long lines and afternoon rush and was clearly taking it out on the customers. I honestly thought she was a new employee, or one close to retirement, so you can imagine my shock when I noticed her name tag with the "manager" marking. At Marshalls there are many good finds on skincare, clothing, and more. At Marshalls I have found skincare brands on a great deal; such as Glow Recipe, Lanaige, and much more. Products can be high quality if you choose the right ones, and workers are friendly and helpful. read more

This was my second time coming to this location and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a great selection of clothing, the store (for the most part) was cleaner and better organized, with the exception of the shoe department. I was here two use two gift cards I received. I loved looking through the clothes and the beauty department. Can't forget the purses! I really wanted to look at the shoes but the shoe department was very messy and organized. There were shoes on display and no shoes located below. If you walked further down the aisle you would find the corresponding shoes, in various sizes. There were some shoes on display that I could not find. That was my only frustrating experience this time. If I am in the area I will definitely be back. read more

This Marshall's isn't that bad. It's right off of the West Loop, and easy to run in and out!! Is it the BEST Marshall's of course not. But I think it's good enough. As with any other Marshall's the prices are great. And there are plenty of name brands for great prices. I went and returned this bag my boyfriend didn't like (he's so ungrateful), and the lady was sooo nice at the counter. Probably one of the worst Marshall's I have ever been to..from the employees to the selection to the store itself. We walked in and at first it seemed promising but when we actually spent time looking around, there wasn't the biggest or best selection. We found a few things but nothing that blew us away and we probably won't return. The employees were ok as well. You can definitely tell they are over worked and they don't want to be there so I definitely feel for them and just tried to pay ASAP and get out of their hair. read more

For some odd reason, the Marshall's Home Goods on W Gray was almost completely cleaned out of everything. It looked like Black Friday. So when I desperately needed a good salad bowl, I came here expecting to be disappointed. Instead, I walked away with TWO salad bowls, and was also tempted to buy some more candles since their selection was larger than the other location that I just came from. I'll be sure not to overlook this location next time. However, it's really outdated, dim and "dirty" lookin'. They need to give this place a facelift. read more

Why aren't there more reviews with higher stars here? I just don't get it. I've been shopping at this discount store for countless years and I never walk away empty handed. It's a trick I tell you! I go in for yoga pants and instead I walk out with a dog chew toy. How the heck did that happen? I'll tell you why! Because there isn't anything this place doesn't have. Hit Marshall's at the right time and you'll find designer purses, handbags, clothes, and undergarments. Everyday shopping includes local sports team and college team apparel, housewares, beauty products, workout items, dog items, kids apparel and toys, insulated lunch bags, candles , electronics, books, organic snacks, coconut oil, backing products, small furniture, lamps, luggage, shower products. How can you walk in and NOT get sidetracked and buy something, even if you didn't come here to get that specific item. Im not quite sure what the 1-3 stars are based on as far of reviews. Picky I tell you! I mean Marshall's is a hit or miss store. The day you walk in just might not have been their day, but you'll definitely find something for you or a friend or loved one. It's Marshall's. They have cheap clothes, shoes, and most of the time the stuff is cute, but like any bargain based shopping center there are times that the merchandise isn't appealing. It's not as nice as the one on 1-10 near the Katy freeway, but this Marshall's does have good service, clean store, clean restrooms, and it's location in Meyerland is ideal. If you like spending $500 on a skirt this place isn't for you. If you hate having to look for a cute bargain deal. This place still isn't for you. But if you don't mind scrounging the juniors and women's section you can find clothes that are business casual to business formal and not look like a 45 year old wanting to reclaim her high school glory days. You just have to figure out your size in juniors. This place may not be ideal for men, mainly because I've never noticed any variety in clothes for them. As far as the homestore department, it's pretty small and basic. If you're looking for things to decorate your house, you're better off going to a bigger Marshall's in case you can't find what you're looking for here. And like any retail outlet, just avoid Marshall's during the Christmas shopping season which is like post Halloween to December 24 and the return and exchange frenzy that ends right around the start of February. Retail stores are nightmares around that time, because of how obnoxious and gross people can be. But if you visit any other time, you'll be pleased. read more

After spending a long sunday afternoon shopping for house goods. This was our final stop. We found some good deals at different stores, but some items were just way too overpriced. So we held off and checked to see if Marshall's had the same or similar item for much less. This location is quite clean. The home items are kind of a huge mess, looks like people rummage through it and the staff doesn't have enough time to tidy it up. However, if you're willing to dig, you will find some amazing deals. We were able to find some wicker type trays for the bathroom at about 1/4 of the price that we were seeing all day. read more

This Marshall's location is terrible. I thought I was getting a great deal by finding an 8 piece comforter set on clearance for $40. It has been a horrible experience, twice the sets were labeled King but were twin, and the second time there was missing items. And because the employee left the sensor on the comforter I was told there is nothing they can do. So I'm stuck with an incomplete twin "set". read more

This Marshall's location is super convenient to my house. It is not their cleanest location, nor has the store undergone an extensive remodel like some of their other locations, but it is good enough for the Meyerland area. I have literally never walked into a Marshall's without buying something. I always find plenty of things I "need* and can't leave the store without. This particular location doesn't receive the higher-end clothing items like the Galleria (Post Oak) and River Oaks (W. Gray) locations are known for, but they do have a nice selection, and the trendier "featured" items can be found on the racks right up front when you walk in. The rest of the clothing is hit or miss. They tend to sell too many basic knits in boring colors and patterns, so you really have to dig through the racks to find something unique. Dresses are where Marshall's really shines, though! Brands like Betsey Johnson, Elie Tahari, Calvin Klein, Max Studio, Cynthia Rowley, etc. can be found at very low prices (usually priced between $29.99.99-59.99). These dresses are always on trend and suitable for work, weddings, or cocktail parties. This Marshall's sells some very good shoe brands for much less than MSRP, including Kate Spade, Coach, Tahari, Michael Kors, Franco Sarto, Vince Camuto, and others. For example, last week I saw Kate Spade flats for $99 when the same pairs are currently for sale in Kate Spade stores for $300. Not bad! I also purchased my most coveted pair of MK riding boots here five years ago, and they still are holding up today! House wares are very moderately priced and are a great way to add some less expensive contemporary items in with your fancier traditional pieces, so you can create an eclectic, yet upscale mix of home furnishings. Sales in this department are awesome, too! However, this location has nothing on the Marshall's Home Goods stores. There's always something new to see here, which is why I come here often. Unfortunately parking is ALWAYS a mess, especially now that the Kelsey Seybold clinic is right next door, and the store is a bit unkempt (typically due to crazy shoppers haphazardly throwing unwanted items everywhere), but it remains a good place to shop and you can certainly score some great deals. read more

Geez, this Marshall's has seen better days. It seems this corner of Meyerland Plaza has been going downhill ever since the Borders closed. The Marshalls has become steadily dumpier over the years. The selection isn't bad per se, and it's still got some quality brands at attractive prices, but the inventory is getting thin and seems irregularly stocked. Now, that abandoned Borders will soon be replaced by a Kelsey-Seybold clinic, and maybe this Marshalls will see revitalized interest, but for now, there are much better Marshalls and HomeGoods and TJ Maxx stores in the Houston area, such as West Gray or Sugar Land. As for this location, it's close to where I live, but I would rather drive 30 minutes to Sugar Land than shop here. read more

While this is not the worse Marshall's out there, but it is on the bottom of the scale. They seem to be always sold out and their selection is limited. I actually like Marshalls and find they have better selections over a TJ Maxx or another type store. This Marshalls though is pretty horrible mainly for one simple reason: the checkout line. I have passed on pretty good deals because I didn't want to wait in line. Sure every Marshalls has a line but this one just seems to be an extreme mess. This is one of my favorite places to shop. It's pretty neat and clean. Sales staff is friendly enough. There is a bathroom available for public use. It's more fabulous after all the Marshalls underwent renovations to expand their shoe selection. I have found great jersey print dresses here for $30 and Ralph Lauren sandals on clearance for $15. This Marshall's is really going downhill from inside out. The outside is extremely dirty, which is exactly how the inside is. It's disorganized, dirty, and the lines are always really long. Marshall's is seriously one of my most beloved stores. Whether I lived in Dallas, Manhattan, or Houston, I always seem to find my way to Marshall's. I even have a credit card because of its perks! The lady working in the dressing room was unacceptable extremely rude short tempered and wouldn't let a mother stand outside her three children's dressing room told me to count my clothes in front of her and accused me of miss counting and threw the clothes counting them in the upmost worse attitude needless to say I'll never be coming to this location ever again read more

Its not as nice as the one I lisa k visits but its good enough for normal people. Maybe if they had more religous associates I liza would shop there more. Everything must be perfect all day and they must treat me like a princess. If they dont ill rip them a new one with my yelp account as it makes me feel like im not a complete loser with no friends who vents on yelp instead of to real people i know since i dont know any. If the towels arent folded instead of putting things back the way they were ill throw them on the floor and if the lines more than a 2 minute wait ill throw my stuff down anywhere and ask to speak to a manager so i can maybe just maybe get a 10 percent discount. If they dont give me the discount ill call their corporate office and make up a complete lie about how bad the service was to again make myslef feel better. I did find the perfect dress for an excellent price and the line to checkout was short & fast with good customer service, but... the junior selection was very small (i couldn't even find it at first) and the dressing rooms were dirty!
