(Hubby has a hard time when it comes to parallel parking. Being from the Bay Area, that's a way of life for us!) Checked out the following stores: Lush, the Lego store, Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom Rack, & Rack Room Shoes. It is a walking-centered shopping center, but some drivers are not letting peds walk in the designated crosswalks. Shame. (In Cali, if you don't give right of way to the peds, you get a ticket!) The shade is nice. So it wasn't so bad. We definitely got a lot of steps in. We also walked to the water feature, that we remember our son being obssessed with, when he was a wee one.

The information booth is well positioned and generally helpful, although I was surprised they couldn't direct me to something as simple as a fresh green drink. I later found what I was looking for at True Food Kitchen, which seems like a fairly obvious recommendation in a center like this. My one real issue is the sheer size of the property. It's expansive... more of a campus than a traditional shopping center. What starts off as a pleasant stroll can quickly turn into a long trek, especially if you're not prepared. Comfortable shoes are not optional here. By the end of it, I found myself more tired than I expected. It's a beautiful place, but the scale can work against you if you're trying to cover a lot of ground in one visit.

I'm from California and come to this location in LV a few times a year, and always have a good experience. Today, I was looking for the other shoe to a pair. There was only one in the box. I asked one of the ladies in the shoe section--Rowena? She was great! She spent some time looking for the shoe and somehow she found it! I really appreciate how very helpful she was! She was determined to find it...and she did! Checking out, we were so lucky to get Glenda! We remembered her from last time, because she's the type of person to leave a lasting impression on customers! She is so friendly and upbeat. She even located a shoe bag for my shoes! Many of the pairs were under $50, which is good, considering that the pairs are running at $75 each, at regular price. It took a lot of will power not purchase any shoes. I looked at the Madewell rack, but wow, the solid basic short-sleeved t-shirts are now $18.97 each. Can this be tarriff-related? I needed a refresh for my tops, separates for work. (I recently went through my closet in the earliest stage of Spring Cleaning.) My rating is based on the organization and the selection availablity.

While driving home I realized I didn't have my stool & I thought the cashier left it by accident so I ended up running to two other Ross's by my house to see if they had the same stool as it was around 5pm when I was on my way home & the traffic was crazy on the 215 so I didn't want to turn around & go back to the store. But we just go to the second parking entrance to avoid the whole scene. Had plenty of parking, but could seem limited when the place is packed. I hoped this location would become a bit less crowded with the new Costco location in Vegas, but noooo. It was a little less crowded for like 2-3 weeks, but now it's like the 3rd location never opened. Booooo. We usually go here with a list and since we know where the items are, it's pretty efficient. But we've also perused the aisles when the store isn't as crowded and have found new stuff. Overall, we're really glad that we have a Costco 4 miles away and it's a great place to shop - friendly helpful staff, clean and organized. We also get our tires and batteries here. Several groups of people gathered inside and we were all asked to move outside and make a line outside, when it was 100° out. Which was fine. We made a line and did what they wanted. 3 hours later when the stocker finally finished (he was intentionally moving slow to unload 10 boxes of Pokemon cards), they came outside to do a headcount... Then when they were ready to sell, they allowed a new line inside that formed to purchase cards and cut 40+ people that were waiting outside! Absolutely crazy. When asked why they were doing that. Employees and loss prevention made up excuses and played dumb, which caused chaos inside and resulted in a female being pushed out of the way, several verbal arguments, and almost caused physical altercations. By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had inside a target. They really need to model their system like the North Decatur store.
