BE CAREFUL, THE STORE IS NOT SAFE!! Horrible store! Someone stole my wallet inside this store. I am from another country.. I need to go home and I was undocumented! The security guard and another employee looked sad about the situation, but they said they had no authority to do anything. At Marshall the guard doesn't check the camera like Ross's guard. In short: I did not receive any support from the manager, in fact, she disappeared and left the problem for the two poor. I can hardly go back to my hotel, because I had no document, money, cards ... This is probably one of the worst locations I have ever been to! Everyone that works there was extremely rude with attitude. I asked the manager a question and she said "no" and walked away from me. I have never seen this kind of customer service in a retail shop. Never coming back here again or shopping at Marshall's! You just lost a customer. read more

Quite disappointing for the area. Ross across the street is way better in terms of variety, pricing and PARKING!! Why 2 stars? Because the parking lot gave me mini heart attacks both times I parked there. It's a bad steep and the ticket spitter machine is right on that steep. You have to hit the breaks fast because you might have cars behind you. Who thought this is a good idea? Anyways, if you plan on going here I recommend parking across the street preferably underground, checking out Ross first then walk here. read more

Usually I have a positive experience at Marshall's. Unfortunately, the parking situation at this Marshalls's is terrible. My validated parking ticket was eaten by the parking kiosk. In a rush and rather than go back in I paid $3 to get out. However, while putting my card away the gate shuts and requests I now pay $20. When I press the security call button, the call goes unanswered multiple times. Finally, after 20 minutes of waiting and many honking horns, I paid the $20 because a woman in line has a plane to catch and I have to catch a flight. After calling the parking company, they say they can't do anything, it's the non-present security guaurd's responsibility. After calling Marshalls's they said he guard should be there. Great job on passing the buck guys. Guess it's just Ross from now on with discount clothiers. read more

Parking here is an absolute nightmare as others have mentioned. Not only is it all in the hot sun, but the parking machine is a POS. That said, it's a pretty good Marshall's. I mainly use Marshall's for home goods like towels, baskets, organizers, and the home section of this store is very, very good. read more

Came to this marshalls on a Sunday afternoon to find a shower caddy. The entrance to the parking is located on Western on the northern side of Hollywood. Beware, the entrance is a steep ramp. While at the top of the steep ramp, make sure to grab a ticket and then a sharp left turn to get to the roof top parking lot. It is also shared with the PetCo. Once you enter the building, you have a choice of stairs or an elevator. Take the stairs; it's only 1 flight down. A security guard greets you at the entrance to Marshalls. Grab a cart to the right of the entrance; you'll need it. And make sure to bring shopping bags. If you want one there, it'll cost you 10¢ each. The interior is a bit smaller than other locations. The home section is smaller. Isles are clean without clutter. The clearance section is a bit messier in the left back. There were about 7 registers open at that time so the checkout process was quick. Cashier was friendly and validated our parking for us. Would be back at this location soon. Might need to go across the street to Ross if I need a more specific item. read more

Good location to visit if you leave around LA and the most important: FREE PARKING. That's a big plus in this area. Their products are relatively organized and the ladies at the register are friendly and quick. Usually, they have plenty of open registers so you don't need to wait too long to check out. They do not honor their returns policy and look for any excuse to not process something thinking that people are idiots. I didn't really wear an item and it had all the required tags and the receipt and everything but I guess they just didn't feel like returning it so now I have to deal with something that's the wrong size. Also I don't think the people I dealt with are trained in customer service in the slightest as there wasn't even a hint of explanation or apology. To explain why they couldn't return the item she didn't even have anything to point at so she just pointed at the tag. Okay....??? Anyway I recommend the similar store across the street or any other branch, in case you ever grab something in the wrong size and they're in a bad mood that day and don't feel like honoring their policy. read more

This Marshalls store may not be the best as it is oftentimes very disorganized and there are oftentimes no sales associates on the floor to help a customer if necessary but the prices are quite low and you will save a lot of money here compared to the major department stores. Come with plenty of patience and you will probably find a few very good deals here. read more

Worst customer service both from the Manager name Celia & her employees! I went last night to purchase a set of brushes & according to them they couldn't sell it to me because it has a missing item gave me this whole BS story about how they have to search for it and give me a call the next day never did I receive a call but had to call myself and was told that they never found the missing item so that I could purchase I go into the store to find out that they put it back on the floor with no where being found I'm guessing one of the maybe wanted it for them self's since I have never heard of " we can't sell it because its missing a item" Way to go CELIA you sure are doing a good job as a Manager! I thought long and figured, since the management was "unavailable" for 4 days straight to receive my complaint, i figured I would YELP it. When I first arrived, I wasn't given a warm greeting, instead, a young woman looked me up and down and without missing a beat said, "we do have security here but welcome to Marshall's..." honestly, I have no idea what was in her coffee but it didn't keep me from searching for bathroom items. (A neighbor recommended I try Marshall's and Ross). While walking through the store, I walked into mounds of dust and cracked glass items or pre-lit candles. There was also linens covered in dust and stickers making them unappealing. My partner convinced me to buy two throw pillows that he liked and before adding them to my cart, we dusted them and plucked away all the stickers and nonsense then took them to the register. I explained to the awesome women at the register area the issues with our visit and they pointed us to the manager but it turns the manager was "busy" and would reach out to us at a later date....which never happened. Even though Marshall's is a block or so away from us, I think I'll enjoy the walk to Target or Ross, for my random household items. Thanks YELP. read more

Store just opened up here in Hollywood. So everything is new. Adjacent to a petco that's also brand new. Single level store in a busy intersection in Hollywood so it's a bit on the smaller side compared to other Marshall's. But you still can find what you need. read more

My favorite enacts halls hands down! I seriously can't come here too much or else I'll be broke. Never disappoints. It's very clean and organized. I visited the store yesterday, 5/24/21 to buy some hair products. I picked up a bottle of Joico shampoo which is offered in 2 sizes. The 2 bottles (smaller and larger) were priced at $16.99. However, all smaller bottles of this brand were priced at $7.99. I was told to approach the assistant manager, Espie regarding this price discrepancy. She was extremely rude and refused to even look into the issue to sell the smaller one at the correct price. Her response with an attitude was "it came priced that way and I can't sell it for less than what the price is because it would affect inventory." Who in the right mind would spend $16.99 on the smaller bottle if they can get triple the size for the same price? Eventually, I found the same exact bottle priced correctly at $7.99. When I went back to her, I placed both bottles on the counter and said "now tell me this isn't an error!" She looks up and say ok, bye...have a nice day and I wasn't even done shopping. Her appalling tone, attitude, and unwillingness to even look into the issue should demote her to an associate. The girls at the register apologized and had decency to treat me like a consumer. This is a serious opportunity for coaching with a situation that could have been avoided if she just said "sorry about the error, let me look into it." Shame on you Espie....learn how to treat people. read more

I enjoy going to this Marshall's. Great selection, clean and organized store. The carts don't work well if you parked in the upstairs lot. This store made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. While shopping today they talked about me as if I couldn't hear them. I was buying Christmas gifts for my friends and family and felt so uncomfortable from the staff that was talking about whether or not I can afford what I was getting. My boyfriend made a joke about us stealing because the staff was being very blatant about doing their rounds to check on us. It's ridiculous! We'd gone there so many times and bought at least over $50 worth of items each time and this time we finally got a cart because I usually don't think to get a cart and of course the staff thinks we're stealing because we're getting a lot of items. Why?? I have never given them any reason to believe this and it's ridiculous. If my boyfriend didn't live at the GERSHWIN we wouldn't come here. From now on I'll go out of my way to visit a different Marshall's where I can shop without feeling like I have to prove myself to the staff. I will now avoid this place because of how they treat PAYING customers. Don't talk about whether I can pay or not or what kind of jewelry I wear because you will NEVER know who can hear you. read more

Compare to one front of Beverly Center, this Marshall location has less selection. Parking validation often doesn't work. When it doesn't work you have to pay $3 or go back inside and get re-validated but when you have cars behind you, you can't back up. Pain in the a$$. read more

I'm a lifelong Marshall's shopper. BEWARE! The manager of this store won't take returns of defective merchandise and you will end up eating the cost. I bought a water bottle which I washed and attempted to use. Unfortunately the bottle leaked because the lid didn't attach properly. Manager told me they can't return it because they were unable to resell it!??! So on top of having to eat the cost, I'm now aware they are knowingly putting defective merchandise on the shelf for sale. read more

Very small store, the selection isn't great! But my reason for one star was the service. They made a "mistake" and charged me extra 1.05$ for water when I did NOT buy any water. I've always had a good experience at this marshals. They don't always have the best selection but I usually can find a great item here and there. Their men's selection is very small to me and does not have that great of a selection but I like their home decor area. Prices are the same as any other marshals and the employees have always been very nice to me. Overall I have had good experiences and am pleasant with this place. read more
