The manager at this store made up some crazy story that NEVER happened from the day before. Claimed I bought something else (during my return I was attempting within under 24 hours). And told me that they don't carry the brand on quilt (that I bought the day before). I'm not totally sure what happened during this absolutely CRAZY conversation. He was either confused, gas lighting and/or just a complete idiot. If he can't remember the brands they carry at a discount chain store he should probably look for a new job. End result I filed a complaint with the corporate office and was credited for the quilt (that apparently didn't exist)! read more

I used to love shopping at this Marshalls until what happened to me and my daughter this past Wednesday. Around 5 pm we were in the women's section picking out a birthday gift for my wife. Then all of a sudden, the manager started yelling at us telling us we were making a mess. The manager goes on to yell at her own employees and create a scene. Words cannot describe the embarrassment this manager made everyone feel. We decided to leave the store when a fellow customer told me the name of the manager (Schiefer) and how she always VERBALLY ABUSES customers and her employees. So, I say I will never shop here again and be careful if you encounter the manager by the name of Schiefer. She will VERBALLY ABUSE you and say a racial epitaph towards you. read more

This store is a bit of a mess. The layout isn't great. Prices are cheap like every other Marshalls, but that's about it. There aren't many items to choose from. Usually when you talk into a Marshalls, there's an overwhelming supply of shoes, clothes, beauty products, festive decorations, pillows, etc but at this particular location, everything is underwhelming. Additionally, parking is always hard to find here since this Marshalls shares a parking lot with a ton of other stores. Drive to a farther location so that you have better choices. read more

It's Marshall's. You are here to find low prices and a decent selection. I came in search of some cheap beach wear. I could not fathom spending $40 for swim trunks at the places closer to Long Beach. So Yelp found me Marshalls. The selection of stuff is a little light as compared to other stores. But the prices are perfect. The main thing keeping this store from more stars is that it is complete disarray. Unlike Samantha L., who also noticed the same disarray 3 years ago, (Yikes!), I was fine with the DMV style lines with monitors showing you which aisle to go to. (The DMV style wait was not as bad when I went, but this was not a fast moving store fore sure.) So, in search of some cheap clothes to get wet, and lacking a desire to drive to the Mall, from Long Beach, this was a decent stop. A little more order to the clutter an I could recommend a higher rating. But it is what it is and it worked for me...today. read more

What a difference a week makes? I didn't bother with the shoes this time. Last venture here, I did see this spray olive oil thingy that Weight Watchers sells for twice as much and wished I picked it up. I mentioned it to my Mom and therefore, we raced back (she loves this store, and loves when I actually wanna shop!) So, Mom and I just so happened to be "in the area" and we dropped in again. I saw these adorably cute Hello Kitty sunglasses I needed to have, the olive oil spray thing, and my new favorite invention...rubber. ice cube. trays. Wow. who needs "Fifty Shades of Grey" when you can have ice cube trays that don't give you hassle! My morning iced coffee never tasted so good! Oh yes...they sell bags of ground coffee as well and I got me a bag of Red Velvet flavored coffee - $6.99...who knew heaven was only $6.99... I feel bad I gave Marshall's such a low blow review last time. You def. cleaned up your act...in a week. read more

I absolutely love Marshalls. My husband and I will travel far and wide to find one or their sister stores (tj maxx and homegoods). This Marshalls in particular is close to home and even though their lines get long they manage to move quickly to get you out. Their stock usually looks neat when I go and I love looking for good bargains on high end brands. The employees are helpful and pleasant here as well. read more

This store was my first Marshall's experience. I hated it when I was younger but the reason was stupid, I could never find pants that fit me the right way but that isn't the store's fault....I couldn't find pants that fit me the right way anyway. I rediscovered Marshall's about two years ago and fell in love with it again. I got a gift card for Christmas from my mother-in-law (at the time she was my future mother-in-law), and I went into the store with my mom shortly after I moved back into my parent's house for a brief stint. I had money to burn because I just moved back home and was paying little to my mom toward house expenses and I had a full time job (CHA CHING!) and everything was so cheap! I wasn't sure whose prices were better Marshall's or Loehmann's. I picked out a pair of cute shoes, some scented candles, coffee and a few other odds and ends. My mom was in love with the snack food section. Every time I now visit a Marshall's I end up getting too many items and spending some money. The finds there are lucky and incredible. read more

Low prices. My friend gets many of her toddler's outfits here. They are so adorable and cheap!

Place is always a mess, however they usually have really good deals if you can find what you are looking for.
