This Marshall's has been in the same location for years-at one time it was clean , organized , professional , and well up to par . Now, SLOPPY, messy , disorganized , dirty floors and walls -safety hazards all over the store as customers can trip and fall over the merchandise that is always left all over the floor. Super slow employees , unhelpful . Poor work ethic grown adults who think it's appropriate to utilize company time to gossip I mean just wow ! Clothes always have stains from being neglected by employees and left on the floor . No greeting to their customers' upon entry; waits for customers to greet them -no hi , hellos from employees as they walk across floor . Employees don't acknowledge customers until they are at register . Ladies and gentlemen it's called the 5 by 10 rule for customer service .... Learn it . Not up to customer service nor cleanliness standards . Poor satisfaction Registers are full of employees and still slow ;still can't manage to get lines down to busy talking amongst each other and gossiping; utilizing company time for chit chat rather then focusing on work related tasks such as cleanliness of the store at all times , make sure each and every customer is greeted , go backs , spills , facing the store organizing . That store is in very bad condition believe me THEY HAVE A LOT TO DO to keep them busy during company time . Not really sure what management manages as the store is ALWAYS sloppy messy and dirty . There needs to be better management who cares about the store and its appearance ultimately the appearance and sloppiness reflects the managers state of mind and her appreciation for her job . This Marshall's has a great variety of items and always something new to find. The clothing section could be a bit cleaner and more organized, but overall the store has good options. My cashier Maribel, was very friendly and helpful. However, when she asked another employee Marissa, a question, Marissa responded in a rude and bothered manner which was disappointing to see. read more

I frequent this location several times a month.....Sometimes, I recommend them....sometimes not so much ..... today everything was orderly, and they had plenty of help....one of the sale reps went out of her way taking customers to item locations.....And I witnessed a couple of other ladies working on the floor helping customers.... 5 stars for customer service.... 4 stars for organization.... Everyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for Marshalls/Home Goods/TJMaxx. I surprisingly had never been to this location before and upon entering this location I was impressed. Everything was very clean and organized. They had a decent selection for seasonal items and I found a lot of Christmas items I just couldn't live without! I had to use the restroom so I went back and when I walked in there was a girl standing at the sink. I didn't think anything of her as I thought she was on her way out. Nope! As soon as I started walking to the stalls she turned and headed in that direction too. It's almost as if she got annoyed that I was taking the stall she wanted and it almost seemed like she way going to push her way into it before me. As if this wasn't weird enough... she was an employee!!!! When I looked in the other stalls I noticed that they were pretty disgusting. No wonder she wanted the one I was heading to. It was the only clean one! I worked retail a long time ago and I used to have to clean toilets so it was very annoying that she acted like she was above it! It was ridiculous that she walked out and didn't do anything about it.. Hey, we all start out cleaning toilets somewhere right?! After my encounter in there I came across about 5 other employees on the floor. They were all super rude too. It really made me appreciate and miss my Marshalls in Banning where they may not have the best selection, but they have the best staff. The cashier turned out to be the only friendly one in the whole store. So disappointing. So to recap...stars for selection and organization. let me start off with saying I will never return to this location again. The security guard who works here came out as soon as my family and I parked and began to yell at us telling us to be careful with his new car, he accused us of hitting his car even tho he was inside when we pulled up and we never hit his car. We apologized even tho we didn't do anything wrong and he continued to yell at us. We walked inside and he followed us for a couple of seconds and returned to the front. We decided to leave due to feeling unsafe as we walked out he shook his head as us and even rolled his eyes. I was at a this location 11-9-23 and when I walked in there was a women with her cart filled with 6 hello kitty wall clocks, viral tumblers & Mickey handbags. The lady sat for over an hour on one of the chairs Marshall's has for sale. The lady wouldn't buy or let other people buy the items held in her cart. I witness a male employee speak to her and she handed him one of the clocks. I do believe that items are being held for certain people and that is definitely not fair to the customer. Items should be limited and the employees should be able to buy after items are put on the shelf to give consumers who are not reselling the chance to get our hands on some of the sought after items. read more

I have been shopping here for about 4 years and never had an issue. I bought a can of hairspray a few weeks ago and the nozzle did not work so I brought it back, I had thrown my receipt away, but just wanted to do an even exchange. I spoke with store manager Melanie B. who accused me of switching the nozzle after my initial purchase just to come back and exchange it. I am very offended and appalled by the stores treatment for a simple hair spray exchange. I am a forty something year old woman and do not live a life where I would even have time for such nonsense. I went ahead and purchased a new bottle from Marshalls and guess what?!... the nozzle does not work! There are only two occasions when I go into Marshalls...when I need socks and when I need containers. I know that's probably odd to say but honestly they have the best socks and containers! They carry really good brands like puma, reebok, and under armour. At any other department store they would cost about $15-20 for a six pack of socks...here I paid $7.99 for ten pairs! Their selection of containers are really good too I love using them for meal prep. They even have containers specifically for that. Their very well organised too. All socks for men, woman, and children are on the wall to the left and they even have more in the women's part of the store. I don't really like stores like this because I tend to get anxiety when there is too much of everything in one place. However, I don't mind this location as much because it's clean and things are relatively easy to find. The line can get long sometimes but their really good about having more than enough cashiers on hand for it to move along quickly. read more

This is a real nice Marshalls, which I was not expecting. They have a huge shoe section with large sizes, my size 15 wearing husband found 2 really nice pairs, one for $50, the other $25. They also carry quite a bit of designer clothing which I had never noticed before. I walked out with Gypsy 05 dresses, Catherine Malandrino dress, Joe's, Paige and Rich & Skinny jeans, all less than $40 each, not bad Marshalls, I'll have to check you out more often. Check for the purple tags, that's the good stuff. read more

The second time I missed a call from another manager saying to call back if still interested. So I did and a store associate took my number and supposedly told the manager I called. I came in tonight to exchange some shirts my husband had purchased for my daughter last week. She didn't like them, so I was going to exchange them for some items we could use, and I had the receipt. I gave the items to the cashier for exchange which had attached tags that matched the receipt and the cashier told me, "these aren't from here, and I don't recognize this brand." I told her they most certainly were, and she called the department and he said they only carried sweaters in that brand. So she told me they could not be returned, and it looked like the tie died shirts were made at home. I asked to speak to the manager at this point, because I was dumbfounded that they wouldn't exchange something that clearly had tags with a matching receipt from a week ago. The manager told me that she would have to take my information and check the security tapes. What?! I told them that this was ridiculous. I wasn't asking for cash, just an exchange. They literally made me feel like I was some criminal for doing an exchange. Finally they allowed the exchange when I showed them my business card, since I am a professional in the area. This was absurd and ridiculous, and I have never been treated this way even at a Walmart. Poor job Marshall's staff. I will not return to this location. Messy, picked over and virtually zero quality. Found a decent sweater for my brother for Christmas here, only to find that, while in the process of wrapping it, the sweater had a spot on the front. Went back to try and exchange it and the other two left on the rack had tears in the fabric...and were still for sale. Nice. They let me return the sweater. Maybe you can find some good bargains, but it's hard to get over the fact that so many things are on the floor, as if that's where they're being displayed. Do shoppers pick something off the rack, look at it, then say, "nah" and throw it on the ground? read more

I've been to this location a few times now. Let's face it...there is ALWAYS a line at marshals! I come here for the bedding, towels and shoes. Sometimes you can find great gift items on their impulse racks near the registers. Considering how much traffic comes through the doors, the staff maintain the merchandise well. Had time to kill and came in after visiting the store next door. Because I came in the morning, I didn't see the usual messiness and franticness that I've always associated with these stores (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc.). The aisles were clean, the clothes were not strewn every which way, and there was hardly a line. You really have to come in with the mindset that you may not find what you were looking for. Women's clothes are generically sized but decently organized. I did manage to score a skirt for $10 and there were a few home goods that I would come back for (random pieces of cookware from sets). I personally hate shopping for clothes, but I didn't expect to find anything. Glad I stopped by. read more

Typical Marshalls. I'm not sure if the sheer amount of stock I noticed all over was due to the holidays or if they're usually like this. Wandered around looking at the stuff they did have a pretty decent variety of goods overall. Saw some nice Yankee Candles and a few foodie nic-naks. Though I'll give them props for having a good selection of simple exercise gear (push ups, sit ups, pull ups, weight/medicine balls, etc) Only negative thing I could really say about the place is its parking lot. At night it's not very well lit and even before I said anything the Mrs pointed out that she wouldn't have come here after dark due to that reason. Best time to shop here is 1. Right after a big shipment 2. Morning I can spend hours here looking through things, finding deals (which is boundless), and simply shopping therapy. I can find everything from doggie things all the way to kitchen pots and even furniture for the home! Either every other guy on the planet where this size or they decided to only make 1 or 2 pairs of shoes for a size 11 1/2. You want to know what size they have? Size 9's and 13's. I mean plenty of them. Yes it is strange. I find a shoe, I am giddy with enjoyment and than I find out it is a size 13. Oh there is another one... 13. man... what gives. Wait there is one more. a size 9. I give up. You see I wouldn't have these sort of issues if I was rich. Not that I am broke either. I usually will go to the Nike store or the mall to get shoes because I am not getting a discount with a size 11 1/2 shoe size!! I did get an awesome deal on forks and spoons. May seem insignificant... but if you have a house with a 10 thousand forks and all you need is a spoon. You would get cranky. 9.99 for a set of 4 each. Added to my large fork collection but 4 more spoons work for me. I will go back. They also carry body glove brand socks... if you love the way socks feel on your feet you have to get yourself a pair. They are in black and white. I go for black. Thats just me. Bought a wallet here... it was too small. They didn't have any other sizes. Many different name brands though. Lakers, Clippers, Angels and Dodgers gear. Some things are kind of high considering the place. I guess they are even higher if you get them at the mall. Maybe when they are 2 or 3 seasons out of season they will be even cheaper here. read more

The lines are extremely long with 3 cashiers, one leaves her register to go and talk to the other cashier and didn't have a care in the world that the line was getting longer. Many people started leaving which you would think might make them move faster. Nope. All the cashiers we're moving so slow and they looked miserable, like they hated their job. I love shopping here. They have a great selection on purses and clothes for children. I went in yesterday to put some clothes and decor for my home on layaway and was told by the cashier that I can not put anything on layaway that can not get hung up or fit in a box. I was putting 2 candle holders on layaway I say that was probably 12" tall. The cashier contacted her coordinator then I guess the coordinator tells me that if I add this on that it is not their responsibility if it gets damaged or break. So I was not comfortable making the purchase on that item. I understand what they are saying but I felt they could of been a bit more professional. Usually places like this are chaotic when it comes to organizing the merchandise inside because customers just put things anywhere and the merchandisers do the same, I usually don't have the patience looking through racks of mixed items because I get headaches easy...but not this Marshall! Everything is organized and in specific department. The whole store is clean, the restrooms too, and the most important of all, the staff are all helpful and always smiling.
