We haven't had to interact much with the staff, because we use self checkout, however, you can see them working hard, stocking cleaning and filling orders. The location is kind of on a chaotic corner, but the store is easy to find. The parking lot has plenty of parking in the front and side of the building. The clink bottle/can return bins are always available. We have never found it to be overflowing. We don't mind shopping here when we are in the area. I never hesitate to stop if we need to.

Anyways, I absolutely love visiting L.L Bean in Freeport, ME & btw, you have to visit all their stores in this campus. They have their Flagship store, this outlet store, & speciality stores (home, fishing, biking, & ski gear).

Charming little town and this Village station has a bunch of outlets and small specialty shops and restaurants to keep you amused and wandering around, plus, with the L.L. Bean flagship campus taking up about half the space, that's a cool thing to see as well. Parking was very easy and free and the area was clean and well-kept. Great way to spend a few hours stuck nearby waiting for a flight.

I don't blame the staff for that necessarily, as I watched loads of customers literally abandoned piles of stuff wherever they wanted when they realized, I guess, they didn't actually want to buy them. Also, another reviewer mentioned the lack of staff at the Fitting Rooms; this actually felt very normal (at least it is in other parts of the world from what I've experienced) , so I appreciated just being able to help myself to a room whenever I wanted (...granted, they were also messy with customer's deserted stuff). In the end, on this particular occasion, I left with two items: a very cute, white sweater with golden sparkly thread AND a fantastic little black dress. Pricetag? Under $50. And the person at the cash register was SO friendly and engaging; she gave me an enormous brown paper bag for free when she saw I had been toting around all my Kitchen Store Outlet stuff in my arms. The staff is non-existent around the fitting room, so customers are always having to go find someone to unlock a door. The value of some of the items is reasonable, when it's on sale, but the headache of having to sort through unorganized sizes and color is just not worth it in my mind.

If you follow the signs within the mall it may create confusion. The store itself is filled with LOTS of Carhart clothing items and they have a great selection. Some of the staff is knowledgable about the products and what they don't carry in the store that you can get at other retail outlets. Staff seems friendly, but some do feel new to the retail industry. I was able to shop, find what I want and get it in a reasonable time. The fact they sit outside the mall likely creates the sense of less traffic since you have to exit the mall to walk into this store.
