The tour lasted about two hours, and with only around 12 people in our group, it felt intimate without being overcrowded. Our guide did a fantastic job balancing Savannah's darker history with the paranormal stories surrounding the house. Each time we entered a new room, we were given a quick history of the space, along with an explanation of why paranormal activity might exist there or be attached to a particular object. Afterward, we had time to explore, take pictures, and attempt to communicate with anything that may have remained behind. The basement was easily my favorite part--and definitely the scariest. It has an entirely different atmosphere from the rest of the house, and you can feel the energy shift the moment you walk downstairs. My only complaint was that there wasn't a guest restroom inside during our visit, so I strongly recommend using one before the tour begins. At one point, I had to run across the street to the bar we had visited earlier. When I returned, the very kind woman working in the gift shop escorted me into the basement to wait for my group to catch up. This left me alone in the basement for approximately five minutes. Almost immediately, I felt a powerful energy settle over me. Something beckoned me toward a coffin in one of the rooms, urging me to touch it. I resisted, but then the energy shifted downward and began tugging at my shoes. As I looked down, both laces mysteriously tightened together. A force rose from my chest to the tip of my nose, and a faint voice whispered, "Knucklehead." I bent down to untie my shoes, only to feel an invisible hand slap the back of my head. When I turned around, two spectral fingers shot toward my eyes, stopping only because I raised my hand just in time. Somewhere in the darkness, I heard, "Wise guy, eh?" followed by three distant voices arguing, a hollow metallic crash, and the unmistakable sound of "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk." I cannot conclusively prove that the basement is haunted by the Three Stooges, but I also cannot prove that it isn't. Highly recommended for paranormal enthusiasts, history lovers, skeptics, and anyone comfortable being insulted by the dead. Just use the restroom beforehand, don't touch the coffin, and protect your eyes if a ghost calls you "knucklehead."

Finding him and the boat was easy and he was ready to go. We took advantage of the cooler on board and thanks for the blanket because it did get cold once the sun set. We learned a lot about the Savannah waterways and history but at the same time we also got to just sit and take in the incredible sunset and dolphins. You can tell he just loves doing this! Being it is a holiday we get there early and have breakfast within walking distance so we can get parking. Must have been our lucky day as we got the best parking space in the lot. We were instructed to arrive 45 minutes before the tour. Since we were there and checked in early as was the other group of six we left actually a few minutes early. The weather was perfect and we had on plenty of sunscreen. JD led the boats to different spots on the island so that we were able to see Dolphins. I was surprised that in the middle of the day that we were able to see so many. JD was kind and took pictures and sent them to everyone through What's App. What a great way to spend the day as well learn the island. The entire length of the trip was 2 1/2 hours. Definitely a must do on anyone visiting the Island. Just be warned you will get wet so plan accordingly. You are given a small cooler with ice and bottle waters

It was yawn burger with a side of snores as my kids say. And that in consideration of the price deserves an honest review here. It was about $300 for two hours of a slow boat ride around the marshals where the only thing pointed out to us was an old beautiful hotel that the mob used to that used to smuggle liquor up and down the coast (which we initiated the conversation on, asking about it). The rest of the tour our kids wrestled and joked with each other on the front of the boat and we just enjoy the view of the beautiful houses. We've done many boat tours in different locations and normally there's some sort of discussion about the history or sightseeing the local birds/animals or the ecosystem of the area... None of this occurred. And that would be fine too, except we were told "there's a 90% chance you'll see dolphins" when we made the phone call to schedule, and one of our children was pretty excited about that. We had a good time because we're positive happy group of people but they need to turn the dial way up on this experience for families.

We paid $150/hour, and booked a two hour pontoon tour for Friday at 1pm. It was fantastic ! We had 2 captains on our pontoon boat tour, one of whom was Captain Mike, (I'm so sorry, I'm blanking on the other name!) They were both super pleasant and knowledgeable - also good humored as we blasted music over their speakers and danced around on the boat. When we weren't jamming out to TLC or Brittney they spoke to us about natural marshes, the landscape, dolphins, and geography of the area. They even let our Bride to be drive the boat for a little bit! We were allowed to bring anything with us on the boat, they encouraged it! We packed lunches and brought booze/waters as well - a definite must-do because it made the experience so much more enjoyable! The pontoon was covered, which I must admit being slightly disappointed to see - was hoping for lots of sun exposure, but it was still so much fun! Would definitely recommend bringing along a sweatshirt or jacket, it gets really windy on the water! There is a bathroom on the boat, but I thankfully didn't need to use it - there are clean bathrooms back at the marina.
