This is one of my favorite MARTA stations to come park at. Dunwoody Station is one of the train stops on the Red Line. I usually take the train whenever I'm going somewhere where I know parking may be a challenge or an inconvenience, such as going to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Fox Theater, anywhere Downtown Atlanta or Midtown. This is the third stop on the Red Line starting in Sandy Springs heading toward Hartsfield Jackson, so, unless there's a huge event somewhere in Atlanta, getting a seat on the train is relatively easy. Dunwoody Station has a large parking garage that's easy to get into and out of. the parking attendants have always been courteous on the way out, and they're generally pretty efficient at getting customers out quickly from the parking garage. This location is accessible from 400 and I285. Dunwoody Station is also a short stroll to Perimeter Mall. Light rail (train) and bus service is available from this location. Short term parking (less than 24 hrs) is free; customers will be charged for anything longer than that. This is one of the cleaner MARTA stations that I've been at. Most of the station is covered; however, even though the waiting are for the train is mostly covered, the deck is high and doesn't protect MARTA users from wind or cold temps except for in a small plexiglass enclosed area. Just about every time I've had to use the ticket vending machine, all of the machines have been functional, as have the entry/exit gates been. Once customers have entered through the gates, bus riders go down a level and train riders go up a level. The only real complaint for this location is that the escalators don't always work, which can be a hassle especially while physically carrying multiple pieces of luggage. There is an elevator, though. The train deck is well lit. I'm glad that MARTA - Dunwoody Station is one of the best and cleanest stations. I happen to live close to this station too, which is very convenient.

This is the 3rd stop on Marta's Red Line going Southbound (Downtown/airport) It's the 10th stop going Northbound. If you're going to the airport just stay on this train and ride it all the way to the end (approx. 39 minutes with 16 stops) If you're transferring to the Gold Line you can do so at Lindbergh station (11 minutes 3th stop from here) Marta's Red Line stops are of the following: 1. North Springs 2. Sandy Springs 3. Dunwoody (you are here) 4. Medical Center 5. Buckhead 6. Lindbergh Center (joins gold line) ** 7. Arts Center ** 8. Midtown ** 9. North Avenue ** 10. (limit 2 per one adult) $1.00 for seniors, disabled riders and medicare recipients For more information on fares and Marta stations itsmarta.com/Default.aspx FYI- College Park, Doraville, Lindbergh and North Springs stations are all $8.00 long term parking. Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Kensington, Lenox and Sandy Springs are all $5.00 for long term parking. This is one of the best Marta station in the city. It's clean, efficient and safe. I've used it at 5:30 AM and I've used it at 11:00pm. I've never felt unsafe or uncomfortable here. Parking for under 24 hrs. is always free at any Marta station. It's $5.00 per day (including the first day) at this station. There are over 1,000 spaces available here so you should have no problems finding a free parking spot. This station is for those going to Perimeter mall or the surrounding area. There are lots of food places around the mall which is about a 5 minute walk from here. 1032nd review 12/23/2017

I stayed at a nearby hotel for the Publix Atlanta Marathon weekend and decided to leave my car and use public transportation. I took the MARTA rail into Downtown Atlanta from this station. This station was kept clean and all of the ticket kiosks and gates were in good working order. It was nice that parking in the structure was free as long as you're parked for under 24 hrs. If you park for at least 24 hrs, it's $5 per day. The gate attendants were always friendly.

Easy :25 trek downtown to Five Pts central transit station. Nice views en route... Abuts to a high end, very LARGE shopping mall with a good 3 high-end steakhouses within 1/2 mile from there. Also, a Cheesecake Factory in the mall. Dunwoody is close to Porsche office and a good number of business offices and parks. Sandy Springs nearby.

I love this Marta stations that run above ground. When it's sunny outside it's really depressing going underground with all that grim like concrete gray. But a little natural light and mural that ket this light in really brighten things up!

This station is my job location. Although it has multiple levels I am able to maneuver through the station pretty quickly. The office buildings surrounding this station has free shuttle service from the Kiss and Ride to your actual building. You don't have to walk or take additional buses. Easy access to Perimeter Mall and other shopping centers around this station. This is the cleanest station that I have been to on Marta and they have a lot of foot traffic so that's really saying something. State Farm is building their headquarters which will be attached to the station.

    Nasty bus during the pandemic.

I accidentally got off here once before I realized I had a couple more stops to go. It's smaller than the others and the parking lot is tiny (about 200 spots available) compare to the other stops. It's surrounded by mainly hospitals and medical centers. If you're going to St. Joseph's there is an escalator that will take you on up there. 1049th review 12/26/2017

This cuts out the $50 a day for hotel parking, the Doraville station has surface & parking deck areas, two nights was $16. Lenox station is cheaper FYI. I had only rode Marta one other time before this and it was over 10 years prior, I was mainly traveling solo on Marta this time. For the Doraville station be sure not to park in the front parking as this is NOT overnight and you will be towed. The ticketed parking is just beside with minimal security. Doraville is the gold line that goes into Lenox where the race starts; our stop was Peachtree center. The trick to going from Peachtree back to Lenox is to know that both red & gold run on same track, which I didn't. I got on the train saying North Springs and ended up at Medical Center before realized, rode back to Lindbergh then gold to Lenox. The train itself is minimally occupied unless a big event is going on. It was somewhat clean as meaning no visible trash. There are homeless persons all around the escalators underground and you may get accosted on the platform but just be smart. I put the Breeze mobile app on and bought 3 day pass for $16, my main issue was the QR code picking up on the scanner. Every time I dreaded it because would never scan on first, 2nd, maybe 3rd try if was lucky. Overall IMO, Marta is a deal at $2.50 to go all over the city pretty quickly. It can be a little sketchy at night but just be aware of surroundings.

I usually come here when I don't want my mom to come all the way to the airport to pick me up. The Doraville Station is exactly what it is -- it's one of the safer stations I would say. But it's really nothing special. MARTA itself needs a lot of work and it's really outdated. The last time I was here, the elevator was broken so I had to carry hella luggage down the stairs and that was pretty disastrous. But it is what it is. If you're looking for affordable transportation to the airport and you don't wanna ask for a ride or can't find a ride, at least find a ride here so you can go from here.
