The Doraville Marta Transit Station is the last station in the gold line. You can transfer here to the Gwinnett county bus service. The station it self is above ground, which makes it cooler and the sunlight makes it less depressing. There are some bike racks around. The art displayed in this station is a group of paintings scattered across the wall, but the main wall sculpture was taken down :( and the public piano was turned to the wall so you can't play it anymore. Sad :(

This stop is on the Gold Line. It's the first stop going Southbound (downtown or airport) and the last stop going Northbound. If you're going to the airport it should take on the average about 40-ish minutes (17 stops). The station has about 1200 parking spaces. From the parking deck to the station itself is open space so if its raining...it's not going to be pleasant. The card machines to add value to your Marta breeze cards were a little worn. I had to switch to two machine because I couldn't get the credit card swipe to read my card. Also you have to really push down on the buttons in order to get it to register your requests. Here are some general Marta information that might be helpful. Marta's Gold Line stops are: 1. Doraville 2. Chamblee 3. Brookhaven 4. Lenox 5. Lindbergh Center (joins the red line) 6. Arts Center ** 7. Midtown ** 8. North Avenue ** 9. Civic Center ** 10. Peachtree Center ** 11. Five Points ** 12. Garnett ** 13. West End ** 14. Oakland City ** 15. Lakewood/Ft. McPherson ** 16. East Point ** 17. College Park ** 18. Airport ** **indicates this stop is on both the red and gold line Some helpful information: Marta is $2.50 per one way trip. $9.00 for a one day pass $14 for 2 days children under 46" ride for free. (limit 2 per one adult) $1.00 for seniors, disabled riders and medicare recipients For more information on fares and Marta stations itsmarta.com/Default.aspx 1124th review 1/6/2018 44th for 2018

I have absolutely zero love for this Marta station. From the way it is designed down to the pissy elevators. I commute to Gwinett County every day and unfortunately I have to travel to this station to catch the bus. When you get to the station they have multiple sets of sets going down to the buses. There is one elevator that goes up to the platform. It is always reeking of urine. I do not know why people use it as a bathroom because this is the one station that marta allows the public to use the bathroom. Disgusting. There is only two places to sit whole waiting for a train on the platform. One is on the north end and the other is on the south end. The bench on the south end is enclosed in glass. It is however disgusting and pissy. Marta you should be pressure washing your stations at least every 3 months. That smell had been there for years. It will make you gag. If you have problems walking this is not the station for you. The kiss and ride is on the far south end of the station. You have to meet your Uber or Lyft there. Again this is a walk especially when you have issues plus the parking lot is tiny and gets congested when folks drop off or wait for passengers. And it is pissy as well. I try to use Chamblee Station when I Uber.

Relatively safe and clean. Has a taxi stand, kiss ride area and lots of parking. You can use station phones to contact Marta workers to open the bathrooms. The bathrooms are kept locked otherwise. There's a wall with bus schedules you can keep and benches to sit on while you wait for a bus. The ride is comfortable and has some nice views from tracks that are often above the city. Sometimes, you'll go through tunnels and lose your signal though. No buskers or "ShowTime!" like in NewYork city. The stations aren't a mall with shops and restaurants like in DC. Very few homeless people or loiterers hanging out at Doraville Station. Doraville Police Station is Across the street. I've used some of the best public transportation in America- New York and D.C. Atlanta, in comparison, is only scratching the service of its potential. It would be better if it extended further North, further East, South and West. You can reload your Breeze Card on their website. Route plan online or by calling their hotline.

I thought I have seen everything on MARTA before this... Clipping two train cars together at the platform!?!?

"This is the end of the Gold Line..." and everyone rush to the park and ride lots to get their cars to continue their journey home. I am one of them. Apart from all those gas and CO2 reduction talks, parking here and ride MARTA to downtown (in my case, Georgia Tech) saves tons of time in the AM and PM peak hours. That 85/400 merge is a congestion monster. Other than pulling a doll next to my car seat for HOV, MARTA makes the most sense. The park and ride trend here is fun. There are 2 open lots with about 75-100 spaces in total, and 1 big gated lot and deck with god-knows-how-many spaces. EVERYONE would circle the open lots first to see if there are spaces. Well at least I did that since it is way closer than walking to the deck. My successful percentage is about 75% so it's pretty good. Sometimes even they are full, people just park on the grass. But my caution to you is DO NOT park at those Kiss-and-ride spaces. I saw tickets being given on one day. Yes, one day out of n days. I did also took the bus up to Duluth once. I took Gwinnett Bus 10 back to Sugarloaf Park and ride. Oh man that took 1 hour and I believe I got charged another $2.50 even though they said free connection. So, never again.

Elevator smells funny and there were people wondering around, not sure what to make if that. They have a big car park so that's a plus

If your car looks like this in a parking lot it should be law that I have the right to slash your tires before they tow yourcar

If you're going to the airport it's about a 37 min ride on the average. There are close to 1800 parking spaces available here so you shouldn't have any problems finding parking. Basically I catch an Uber from this station to work. Its hassle free and I swear the passengers that use this location are way different. I don't experience the craziness. This location has more than one entrance though. There is Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Peachtree Road and then there is New Peachtree Road. Use this exit to catch Uber, Lyft or Taxis. This is also the side with Kiss and Ride and also some buses. The Xpress Bus is located onnthe Peachtree Road side. Most people going tobthe Walmart nearby use the Chamblee Dunwoody side. I just like this station eay more than others. The elevator and escalator are almost never out of order. Lots of steps however.

The car was dirty and making terrible squeaking noises from the engine, and defiantly that was his personal car and not a company taxi. ( No "Taxi" on the license plate). I wanted to go to the International airport, so I ordered a ride, and they quoted me the fair as $75. The driver showed up but barely spoke English. He drove toward the airport and I found out, he punched in the address of domestic terminal on his GPS (his personal phone). So I told him I need to go to international terminal, but he didn't understand. So he got off the exit for domestic terminal, circle around, hoping he could find the international terminal, but of course he couldn't find the international terminal as it's on the different exit. So I ended up putting the correct address for international terminal on MY phone and told him to drive "derecha" and "izquierda" (right and left in Spanish) just to get to my destination. And he charged me $120, $50 more than what the company quoted as he circled around and couldn't find the place right away. That's too expensive for the terrifying riding experience. I tell you getting UBER / LYFT with good rates is better idea to secure your life. I hope WAYMO comes to Atlanta soon to wipe out all dangerous taxi companies for the passengers' sake.
