I've been going to Martellucci's for years, and I think I've only ever tried two items off the menu- pizza and cheesesteak. In my opinion the only way to go is to order the white pizza with garlic. The cheesesteak is great as well, but you really can't get past that pie. read more

First off this place was highly reccomended by locals. Unfortunately my pie was awful. I ordered a large with extra cheeese and tomatoe. She told me 30 minutes for pick up with was good. However, when I arrived in 30 minutes she said it would be about 15 minutes still. I also ordered a small antipasto salad which was good. Now the pie, it wad undercooked all the cheese came of the pie when I took a slice abd overall was lacking flavor. Growing up, Martellucci's was the place to eat so I was excited to see that they delivered to our home! To say that I'm disappointed in our experience is an understatement. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and specifically asked for it to have crispy bacon and lettuce added to it. What I got were fatty, soft, disgusting pieces of crumbled bacon and brown lettuce that still had dirt on it; on top of a frozen burger patty that had no seasoning or flavor since it came from a package. By the time I got all of the fatty crumbled bacon off, my cheese was gone too. We also ordered a salad, pizza, fries and onion rings, all of which were mediocre and left us making something else for dinner. $40 in the trash (3.99 just for delivery not including the tip) and the delivery driver was just as awful as the food. We will stick with Lehigh Pizza who has never disappointed us, has awesome food and delivery drivers, speedy and FREE delivery! read more

I bought a Groupon for this place and I am glad I did. It is a small, clean place with good food, decent prices, and very nice staff. They wrap your food up for you if you don't eat it all which is very nice of them and the waitress even put his and hers on the wrappers so we knew which was which. read more

I had a small surprise birthday celebration for my Wife at Martellucci. They made the party an amazing success with the awesome food and service. Some of my friends asked if the boss was a personal friend of mine. They were dumbfounded by the service and the server's unique hospitality. They truly made my family feel at home. They were very responsive to our every need. I've paid for higher end catering and did not get nearly half of what Martellucci's offered me. I just have to say AMAZING! Try it for yourself. I think I may be bias but I grew up two blocks away and grew up on their pizza. The pizza is different from all other pizza and is very rich in flavor. Martellucci's can't you get anything right? I decided to try them again and ordered an antipasto. I figure how could they screw up putting meats and cheeses on a plate? Well, they did. I received a plate of shredded meat, cheese, lettuce and other unidentifiable food all heaped in one big mass on the plate. It was very difficult to eat. Plus, the service is poor at best. There's really nothing standout about this pizza. I typically like thin crust, but it was gummy instead of crisp. The edges were crisp but very oily tasting. It smelled like oil. Came here with my parents while back in town visiting them and was looking forward to a Martelucci pie. Apparently they've gone downhill because their mushroom pie had canned mushrooms on it and the overall taste was lacking. I usually stop in for Lunch every once in awhile. Only ever had the pizza and fried mushrooms for an appetizer. While I love a good thin crust pizza, most of the times the dough here is a bit gooey under the sauce and the crust tastes a bit "fried". It's an odd combo. Was looking for some pizza and this place was the highest rated in the area. Ordered some fried mozzarella, garlic bread and a pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread was good, the mozzarella sticks were ok and the sauce that came with both was pretty bland. My grandmother used to make sauce like that so I'm thinking it might be more traditional Italian, but it mostly just tastes like tomato sauce. The pizza was pretty good and I definitely enjoyed it. The service was also fast and outstanding. The ladies working the floor were constantly moving. Simply put the only place to get pizza in Bethlehem. Argue if you will, but the true thin crust, plus the crusty owner Paul makes for a great meal whether you eat in or take out. The pizza itself is always decent for the price, but the service is lackluster. I was there with a few friends today and we came in and got seated, upon which the waitress told us she would be right over. In the meanwhile, she was standing at the register taking orders, and a dozen people who got there after us got ordered first. It took about 15 minutes before she came over, and everyone in my group ordered the special, two slices of cheese pizza and a drink, and we got an order of fries. It took her another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Our friend who had gotten there after us and ordered at the register got his pizza before we even got our drinks. Then we had to wait about 30 minutes for pizza, upon which our fries were not even done. We were late back to school for band and got in trouble. Definitely staying away for a while after this poor experience, and they should learn to serve their seated customers in a timely fashion. They seem to redeem themselves on other dates, but otherwise I only come here for the price. read more

There was nothing spectacular about this pizza. We order pepperoni on half and apparently is under the cheese. I ordered also white apparently the ricotta is under the shreds causing the pizza to be oily and I was very salty . They got a 3 because they mailed the crust being thin but that was it. What happened??? This place used to be so good. It was great all summer long, then the awesome waitresses left. The new girls have big shoes to fill and just aren't cutting it. My takeout order has been one item short the last 3 times. Not sure if the kitchen staff changed as well. Instead of perfectly cooked pizza, the pizza is always undercooked now - even though I specifically say "well done". We thought we found the best pizza place in the valley. It was for awhile, but no longer. Also, when u order takeout, order way ahead. Sometimes it takes 50+ minutes. And parking stinks. read more
