View from the patio - very nice!

What a cute little place with great treats. My first morning I stopped and got a pumpkin spice latte and a maple doughnut. The doughnut was great. It tasted more like a glazed than maple but knew I'd be eating a few more during my stay. After I hit the spa I decided a nice snack while my husband finished golfing would be great. They had a veggie and hummus tray. I enjoyed that while reading a book with my dog in my lap out in the patio. Quite wonderful.

Sausage Gouda and egg on biscuit $6.

Good place to get your breakfast sandwiches, bagels, or pastries (donuts, croissants), hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, and other snacks, if you are staying at the Omni Homestead Resort. Their coffees aren't half bad. We liked their coffees and it didn't smell burnt, like the other reviews mentioned. FYI, If you are an Omni Select member, make sure to let the front desk agent know, so they can provide a daily drink coupon (up to $3.75 per drink) for 2. They also offer ice cream by the scoop here too!

Chips/snacks on left. Cereal stand on right.

Burnt coffee at a "coffee shop". One star. It's so burnt I could smell it when I came down the stairs. I put a ton of sugar in it but you can't fix burnt coffee. This market is inside The Homestead and also dishes out ice cream in a cone, donuts, cookies, packaged sandwiches and a stand full of continental style breakfast cereal.

Morning - good stuff. Good coffee, pastries. Evening - nothing is restocked from the morning so it looks a bit old.

Nice shop with good coffee/food and wines. Great alternative to highly priced resort's restaurants, especially for breakfast/lunch.

I love a good local coffee shop and this small town really only has this during off season…read more We walked here from the Omni to explore and have a couple snacks and the inside is cute and welcoming. I love that they have a mug club in the back - such a cute idea for locals. The menu is pretty large with tons of coffee drinks and breakfast, lunch and other items on it. We went with and iced coffee and pastry to tide us over until lunch since we were also visiting the baths in the afternoon. Coffee was good - menu items are basic sandwiches and such. I saw a chicken salad and a few other things that would be nice for after a hike or some activities at the hotel. Prices are fair and much better than at the resort. A great addition to the town! If we're ever back visiting - we will be sure to stop in.

They serve a quiche of the day, a few pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They also have a lunch menu and ice cream. I got a breakfast sandwich on sourdough with sausage and cheddar cheese and a caffe mocha. The sandwich was good. Nothing made it really stand out but it was good. Hubby got a croissant sandwich and a piece of coffee cake which he liked. The mocha was very tasty. Next time I will definitely try their quiche of the day.

What' a great place! Loved it!! We stopped in for lunch after exploring Natural Bridge State Park…read more We had a group of 5. Seating was a little challenging at lunch time, but the picnic table on the front porch was perfect. Between us all, we had the BLT, turkey Reuben, California turkey special, and the tuna melt. Oh! And they've got fresh-baked cookies!! All of the food was excellent! The service was perfect. I highly recommend you visit next time you're in the area!

Our visit was going well until the owner chased me out into the parking lot to say I owed her more…read moremoney for an item I had paid for while she was in the back on the phone and another staff member rang us up. She demanded I give the item back or pay her another $15 as she said she hadn't written the sale price in red on the sticker. It felt like she was saying I had.... like I was trying to steal... I was so taken aback I just gave it back to her and she brought me a $10 bill for it into the parking lot. Strange and embarrassing and she was aggressive about it. Prior to that we had all gotten lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal and wandered around the shop looking at the little knick-knacks for sale on some shelves by the dining seating area. My mom got a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread, I had a turkey reuben, my husband had a pastrami reuben and my father-in-law had a chili and grilled cheese. Food was out quickly and it was ALL delicious. I tried the chicken salad and it was some of the best I've ever had. Huge portions and fresh food all homemade (the chili was good). They had some fresh pies and pastries for sale as well - everything looked delicious and fresh and homemade. In the end, I felt so upset that we went back and said I wanted to return the other small item I had purchased, a little bumblebee tea light holder, she asked why and we explained we didn't like how the other issue went down and she sincerely apologized and said she hadn't handled it properly and offered to give it as a gift as a gesture of good will. She was kind and explained she's selling and had taken a phone call in the back and was stressed. I understand and her apology was sincere. I appreciated that. All in all - cute shop, good food, cute items. After we sorted the issue - I'd happily come back. Sounds like it is about to be under new management so not sure how much it will change. Hopefully the chicken salad stays the same! YUM.
