Excellent service. Exceptional support for an exceptionally small airport: everyone does their best to do their job. Clean, well run, restaraunt is good.

Looking for things to do on Martha's Vineyard and enjoying our own airport close to the house to watch the planes or have a meal, we decided to stop fir lunch and watch the small airplanes land and take off. After being in some huge airports this surprisingly little airport was such a change a d fun to see. I think my small house is bigger. The faucets in the bathrooms were very cute. The place was clean and everyone friendly. There is a playground on the side of the building under shade. The Restuarant has three sides of windows is small enough you can see the runway right there and the planes take off. Our food was very tasty and the service prompt. I had the tortilla soup to start but it was too spicer for me and the server changed it out for their clam chowder soup which was served very hot, full of clams and tasted really good. I would say second to the soup we ate at Martha's Vineyard chowder at Oak Bluffs( they had the best I ever tasted) I had a garden salad which was a very nice size; full of different lettuces, onions, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives. My granddaughter and I shared a hamburger and fries. Again good portion and tasted very good. I recommend stopping here for an hour or so, if this is your thing. The bus runs every hour and we went on the way to Edgartown from Vin haven and stayed 2 hours since we were in no rush to eat and leave quickly.

An airport like I have never seen.

This is a terrific airport! When we arrived in Martha's Vineyard, we could not believe this was an airport. It looked like a big New England house, but alas it was an airport. It took us 20 minutes, to deplane, get our luggage and procure our rental car. That has to be a world record! The staff is friendly and efficient. The only negatives are that there is no news stand to purchase magazines and there are no bathrooms by the gates, only porta potties. Otherwise a great experience.

Okay so I really like this airport because it's super tiny and you basically need to show up no more than a half hour before your flight because there's literally nobody there 90% of the time. The only annoying thing is that they don't actually have a gate for you to wait in, sooo that's a fun time. Especially when it's pouring rain and you're chillin under a tent outside

    Welcome to MV

Food is actually pretty good for an airport diner. Try the Pastrami sandwich next time you are there.

This airport was clean and manageable overall, but let's talk honestly about the rental car…read moresituation -- it is EXTREMELY far and completely walkable only. After a long travel day, dragging luggage that distance is definitely not ideal, so be prepared for a serious walk if you're renting a vehicle. Also... no Starbucks? Absolutely wild. For an airport, that honestly feels unbelievable. Sometimes travelers just want something familiar, quick, and dependable before or after a flight, and not having one was definitely noticed. The airport itself is currently under construction in some areas, but that had nothing to do with the rental car location or the lack of a Starbucks. Those were simply the biggest inconveniences of the experience for me personally. Other than that, the airport experience was decent enough, but definitely wear comfortable shoes and plan accordingly if you're renting a car.

I lived in Rhode Island for many years and always found this airport to be convenient and…read moreefficient. It has frequently been renovated and always was nice but right now it is difficult to tell what's happening because there is so much construction going on all at once. This is resulted in crowding at the gates and into major inconveniences like the only bathrooms being at gate12 so if you're at gate one or two it's quite a walk to get there. Today's adventure started early in the morning because I had a flight at 8 AM so we arrived around six. I had a rental car and absolutely no idea how to get to the place to drop it off. The signage is poor at best after a few misfires, I finally found it and then begins my morning exercise. It is far from the rental cars to the terminal so the walk is quite formidable. They do have moving sidewalks which helps, but it just seems like an inefficient system for an airport of this size. The efficiency of the airport is excellent. One of the best TSA I've ever dealt with. Quick efficient and friendly. I use CLEAR plus and it literally took seconds to get through. But with an early flight, it would be nice to have some breakfast and the choices are dismal. There's a Dunkin' Donuts with a line that pretty much includes everybody waiting for a flight. There are two restaurants which are empty and there's no doubt in my mind that that is because of high prices unlimited food choices. Two eggs $24, chicken and waffles. $24. They're stuck on that steep number for not much of a breakfast. Would love some breakfast choices. We will see when the construction is over. All in all the efficiency of the airport, both at arrival and departure is excellent. That is why despite the problems while construction is going on and the long haul to get the rental car and return it it is still a four star experience. With a couple of tweaks, it could be five stars.

First impression: Wow! This is a small airport!…read more But it serves its function well in getting you to & from Hyannis area. Just the right size for a small municipal airport. Everything is within a short walking distance. The ticketing & bag check counters are there as you enter the main door. Turn left and it's a short distance to car rental desks. Turn right and you walk past the Island Grill and, then, the TSA screening area. Very compact. No shuttles, long walks to the gates, crowded TSA screening lines. Thus, the usual two-hours prior to domestic flights boarding times advice can be modified to about one hour. The major downside of sorts for those used to big metro area airports is the airport's schedules. The car rental counters close at six pm or earlier. (I couldn't find options for after hours car pickup although after hours returns are possible. Check with the airport's rental counters directly before booking online.) Airline ticket counters might closed except for about an hour or two before boarding. No continuous round the clock bustling. The airport accommodations are limited. Except for the Island Grill, vending machines are the only other food & beverage options. Plenty of seats for waiting.

The terminal was average and there aren't any food options. The flights were on time which was a bonus. I have no problem flying into this airport again as long as it continues to be cheaper than Boston.
