I called my insurance, Allstate to find out if the repairs were covered. And it was, under our comprehensive coverage...Thank god! $100 deductible. Yes!!! My agents office explain that I had to file a claim online or I could call. I found it to be extremely easy and convenient to do so online. After I filed my claim I called to get some clarification on how the claims process works, I then received an email with options on following-up on my claim by getting an inspection. I selected VIRTUAL ASSIST which was so easy and fast!! Within an hour I had money in my checking account to get my truck fix. Amazing!! I was sincerely impressed and astonished with the excellent service and speed of claim turn around time I received. We've been with Allstate for many, many years and I could not be happier. The AAA employee (insurance agent?} listened to my concerns but told me too bad, it is what it is. The "snapshot" discount for safe driving is anything but a snapshot. It is a personal tracker and agreement allow AAA to sell your personal location data & trends for more than 3/4 of the year. It kills your cell phone battery as it is always searching for the slightest movement. All of this and you MIGHT be offered a 10% discount when you renew. They even track and deduct points for when I am on my bicycle and stop to take photos or change the music. The "agent" told me "How are we supposed to know?", if you are moving you are scored. They of course don't insure my bicycle or trips on it, public transit, my Uber driver.... Remember when a 20-year driving record with no tickets or accidents was good enough to indicate that you were a safe driver and insurable, those days are gone. Personal data sales apparently informs them more than your credit score, insurance score, and DMV print out. Don't bother calling the "MySafeDrive" app either. Their answer to all questions is "You can always cancel and be charged more." How about I cancel and go back to a car insurance company that doesn't sell my personal information to the highest bidder? I wonder what AAA is doing to people that buy travel through them? Luggage trackers? Sell your travel photos and plans?

She also pins me down regularly for reviews to ensure we have the coverages that we need (not too much, not too little - if your agent doesn't do these reviews with you that's red flag #1!) Above and beyond. Here are some examples: It's been like 5:00 on a Friday and I forgot I needed something crucial, she's on vacation with her family and she still figures it out! This week my daughter was in an accident. Her insurance was through another company and Christina was the one I called to walk us through what to do (on her cell phone, after 5:00!). I wanted to do some creative investing using life insurance/annuities (non standard stuff). She "got" what I was looking to do and unlike the other places I'd approached (who just said "no - you can't do that" ) she did a lot of research to find the way it could be done and at the costs / returns I was wanting. There are so many more examples but the bottom line is insurance is not exciting to talk about at all or to think about. But you need to and will be so grateful you did on the day you need it!!! You need an ethical, professional, experienced person to guide you. Christina is so that person!

When you sell your vehicle in Nevada- and you aren't transferring the plates to another vehicle- you must surrender them.. Searching on DMV and found out once you fill out the form online you can take them to DMV or AAA.. Walked in and was able to surrender plates.. Nice and friendly office!
