This is by far the best dentist I have ever had in my entire lifetime. I'm 73 years young and I've been treated by many dentist's during my lifetime. My dentist, Dr. Kenny, is gentle and very professional. I trust him with my teeth. The staff is also wonderful as well. I brought my granddaughter here and she is extremely happy with Dr. Kenny. I'm disappointed. I brought my daughter to the Rittenhouse Rd office today. She needed to have extractions done today, so was referred over to the Queen Creek office for sedation. I and my daughter had explained VERY thoroughly that she has severe trauma and anxiety. I was told I could stay with her during the procedure as her support. Everything seemed fine when we arrived. We were taken back to get her ready. I was sat in a corner. They gave her oral medication to relax her before IV sedation. Then, the assistant comes in and says, "Ok, it's time to move you back out front." I explained AGAIN about the trauma and anxiety and my daughter's wish to have me there with her. I was told the dentist would not allow it. I am frustrated, worried about my daughter, and angry that, KNOWING that she had a very bad history with dentists and suffers from anxiety, they were not transparent at all about this policy, but instead sprang it on us out if the blue AFTER my daughter was already being prepped with medication. This is unethical and wrong. I am hoping that everything turns out ok for my daughter. But, I am very disappointed in what I was hoping to be a good experience. I am amending my review to state that I will NEVER bring my daughter back to this office. My daughter was to be given IV sedation. She was told over and over that she was going to "take a nap." My daughter was awake and felt everything during the procedure after being told she would not be. I am beyond furious! read more

I've had so many bad experiences with Martin Dental (both offices) that I don't know where to start. Despite their pleasant demeanor, their dentists lack experience (QC location) - having obtained their licenses only two to three years ago which significantly impacts their competence. They recommended an unsuitable type of veneer for my teeth, despite knowing I grind my teeth at night, which led to the first set cracking. As a result, I had to pay again to replace them - they felt they did nothing wrong. I equate this experience to owning a car that is mainly driven in the snow. What kind of tires would you expect the tire shop recommend and install on your car? All season, snow, track, etc.? Qualified dentists should take into account your current situation, especially when you talk to them about it almost every visit. I didn't know there were different types of veneers, but they definitely did. However, the first Martin Dental dentist that did my veneers apparently wasn't trained on how to do the type I needed, so instead, they just gave me the standard veneers. I would have gladly paid more ONCE and had the proper veneers placed, than go through what I had to go through. It was absolutely horrible and at not be dramatic, but I have nightmares about the pain and 27 different visits I had to go through to get everything back to normal. And... guess what... the issues were never resolved, so I had to move on. I have since switched to a much more experienced and qualified dentist that actually cares about the end result instead of how much money they can steal from you. This new dentist fixed the mess that Martin Dental made and I would caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing this practice, as patients WILL bear the financial burden of ALL errors Martin Dental makes, which will be many. Don't waste your time here unless you want to be misled and overcharged. I scheduled an implant consultation after being told it was free, only to receive a bill in the mail afterward. When I called to clarify, I was told "nothing is free" and directed to the office manager. The manager, Cara, explained that the employee who gave me the wrong information had since been let go--but then rudely repeated that they don't do anything for free. I asked why I should be responsible for paying when their staff had misrepresented the policy, but got nowhere. I ended up paying just to clear the bill, but it's the principle that matters. With so many dentists around, it's disappointing that this office chooses dishonesty just to make a few extra dollars. read more

I went into Dr. Martin's office for a free consultation on dental implants . That was what I was told when scheduling. Tell me why now five months later I'm getting a bill from them for 43 dollars & my insurance paid them, for a free consultations. When calling to discuss this. Was told that the person I talk to no longer work there & sorry for the misunderstanding. It was not a mistake on my part. They just ripped my insurance & had me pay for what was supposed to be free consultation. Don't used them can't be trusted on their own word. Ripping people off. read more

I have been a patient of the Martin Dental in Queen Creek a little over two years now. I can't say enough about the care I get at this practice. Besides my regular cleanings, I've had a crown replaced and my teeth whiten. The crown took place within a couple of hours as did the whitening. The dental hygienist is so thorough and makes you very relaxed. Dr Kenney takes the time to explain everything to you. The whole office atmosphere is very relaxing. I moved away from Queen Creek but prefer to make the drive to get the care I do at this office. read more

Let's be honest, going to the dentist has a long history of taboo due to the uncomfortable nature of it. I myself, "sigh" when I have to go get a deep cleaning(have braces too). Well, look no further if you're like me - this place is amazing. Staff was welcoming and friendly, from the moment I check in to the moment I left. The office itself, felt like a home and had a warm feel to it. The one person who is making me come back for sure is, Ashleigh, who did my cleaning. Didn't hurt once, the care was great. I wish I would have done more research before moving forward with Martin Dental for work regular cleaning and replacing old fillings as well as a couple crowns. Bottom line is they are not trustworthy - DO NOT trust they have your best interest at heart or that they will explain things in a manner understood for people who don't deal with dental and/or dental insurance on a daily basis. Trusting they were guiding me in the right direction ended up costing me nearly $700 more than it really should have. Coming off of recent radiation treatment for cancer and not being as clear minded as usual -- I feel taken advantage of. I was told and led to believe for about 4 months that they would make this right - only to receive a recent message that the person I was dealing with no longer works there and they won't hold up to what I was told by her (and have in writing). SHADY! On top of the out of pocket costs I feel I shouldn't have to pay for, I still have sensitivity 4+ months after a couple crowns. I have never in my life had sensitivity and I keep thinking it will get better...but it's still there. There are a million dentists in the Phoenix area...choose wisely. And, if anyone has a recommendation in the Chandler area, feel free to respond to this review. read more

Not understanding why there aren't more negative reviews for this place. When I lived in Queen Creek I went to this office as they were the closest and most convenient location. They over-billed me for every single service there and never refunded me for the overcharges as they had promised. I tried calling and emailing them and got no response for resolution. If you go here, pay close attention to your billing and cross-check with your dental insurance claims because they will overcharge you and take advantage of you. Be prepared to file a chargeback to reclaim any funds because they won't be willing to help either. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Two weeks ago I had a root canal and I am STILL in pain after going to Martin Dental!!! The pain during first filling the cavity then the root canal on the same tooth was incredible! I had tears rolling down my cheeks it hurt so much! Dr Martin told me I had a small cut inside my gum by the tooth and said it was done by taking xrays! Since when does your gum get cut taking dental X-rays?!? I remembered his assistant jamming the X-ray in my mouth on my first appointment two weeks ago! I said ouch at the time and she was totally uncaring! No one ever answers the phone when you call. Yes we're in a pandemic but if you're going to remain open for emergencies, answer your phone, return phone calls promptly (not 6-8 hours later), and send emails and receipts the same day--not wait till I called the next day to ask where my receipt is!!! There's no follow-up at Martin Dental! My tooth is still throbbing with sharp pain constantly! Dr Martin referred me to an endodonist and I saw him on Tuesday. He gave me a strong antibiotic and a medrol dose pack to see if I had bacteria on my tooth. If that doesn't work, I'll either to have surgery under my gums or have my tooth pulled! If this had been done correctly the first "two" times, I would not be in so much pain for two weeks!! Dr Martin is a nice, caring dentist but he needs a new staff! UPDATE: It's been over one MONTH since I had the awful root canal and my tooth STILL HURTS! read more

Would never go back. The whole visit from start to finish was awful. The front desk lady was kind...but apparently does it all over there...she had taken my pano and didn't bother to put the lead apron on me until I asked her for it... in which she responded "oh yeah that's right" ...that should have been my first red flag. The hygienist was very unfriendly and seemed bothered that she even had to answer some questions I had. When she probed my teeth, she had the front desk lady chart for her...well, every time the phone rang or someone came in she had to run off to handle it...which dragged that part of my visit way longer than it should have. I was there over 3 hours for just X-rays and probing...They refused to clean my teeth and instead tried to upsell me on a "deep cleaning " which by the way they quoted me $1,300 for. my appointment was for a $69 cleaning and xrays. (I left with no cleaning ). I mean I can write an essay but I think this is enough reason to steer clear. I went to another dentist, who confirmed that I did not need a deep cleaning or most of the other things they said I did, which now I know was just to try and squeeze as much money out of me. Very disappointed, I left there frazzled thinking my mouth needed 7k worth of work when it really does not. If you're looking for honest, this is not the place. read more

They scheduled me promptly before my move out of state and were nothing short of great. They have 2 locations : 1 in Chandler and 1 in Queen Creek.
