This was my first time getting lip fillers, which I decided to do 1 year prior to my wedding. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and I waited for less than 10 minutes. The woman (I think her name was Amber?) who escorted me to my room and set up my lip numbing, questionnaire, etc was so kind and personable. She eased all my nerves and made me so comfortable. Emily greeted me, kindly and professionally (also I got the vibe that she is a very chill person who cares so much about her career)-- she asked what I wanted. I deferred to her judgement-- I said do what you want, just make them juicy but not like a duck. She did exactly that. I am now a week since receiving the filler and I am in love. This was all my face needed. Emily did a PERFECT job with minimal pain. She asked for my permission to record the session, to which I agreed (I don't care if people see! I'm proud of filler!) After, she did NOT try to sell me on anything else. She thanked me, gave me directions for care, provided an ice pack and exited gracefully. Afterwards, I started to feel faint (I unfortunately always faint when I get needles stuck in me), I told Amber this and she laid the bed down for me and let me rest until I was back to consciousness. I made the appt and verified the cost would be $149. I did agree to add dermaplaning to my service but was not made aware of any additional charges beyond that, or the cost. I think this may have been a miscommunication because I had a $100 birthday coupon I was planning to use but regardless asked what the cost of the service was...period (not after my coupon). That is also why I agreed to the additional dermaplaning. I reiterated before the service that my skin is sensitive and at the time had some clogged pores but only one active breakout. I left with red raw bumpy dry skin. I called immediately after the service to complain and asked for someone to call me also to discuss the $249 I was charged. I reached out thru Klara multiple times as well as sent multiple pics.The entire left side of my face was covered with large painful red bumps and breakouts. I did hear back once from the person that performed the service indicating it could be from the heat and should be better by the next day. Unfortunately things did not get any better the next day and I did not receive a call like I was told she would or message asking how it was. Would not recommend and will definitely not go back. Besides the fact my skin look significantly worse,,,I feel the costs were not upfront and transparent. Update :I had to see a dermatologist today because of the severe redness/irritation/discomfort. I can genuinely say from the moment my mother and i booked with him we felt we were in good hands but when we met him we knew. My wife has been exercising her entire life, she is basically an athlete. At 62 she looks at least ten years younger except for her midsection that had separated abdominal muscles and a "pouch" of skin caused by childbirth. Initially I was very impressed with his before and after gallery. Women in much worse shape had very impressive corrective reconstruction. Here's the rundown: My wife, and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Goldberg's work. He is truly an artist. In fact the results were better even then he anticipated. Her tummy tuck looks completely natural, like she never had children. Her tummy is flat and the local fat that surrounded her waist is gone. Not like a Dominican Republic special where they remove ribs to make you look like a caricature. ALL my wife's clothes fit her now, the clothes that she stopped wearing hiding in her closet... In fact shopping is a breeze. She has a brand new and cute bellybutton! For big jobs like this the Dr. works out of Dobbs Ferry- St Johns local hospital- 5 stars for the hospital as well. Surgery lasted five hours and she stayed overnight in a private room. The total cost of his services, anesthesiology and the hospital fees were very reasonable and the extra night there only cost an additional $500. Dr Goldberg's credentials are stellar and he has been working with this particular hospital for almost 20 years. The staff and nurses are very attentive. Other Dr's there also check in on you during your recovery. One nurse shared that she also works with the Dr. in his surgical suite out of his office on smaller procedures and that the Dr. takes his time during every procedure: he is a perfectionist and has safety redundancies at every step of the way. Even the meals at this hospital are of restaurant quality. Follow up visits are in his Scarsdale office right on Central Ave., with plenty of parking. His entire staff there is very accommodating, professional and pleasant. I would recommend Dr Goldberg to anyone.
