Very disappointed with the customer service for new clients. I submitted an inquiry and Kim called and asked me to send pictures to determine if I was a candidate for a consultation. I have never had a screening by email before an in person consultation but obliged since we're in a pandemic. After hearing nothing back for a week, I emailed Kim and was told I wasn't a candidate for surgery based on my pictures but was asked to submit my height and weight. After submitting that information, I never heard anything else from Kim. Regardless of the reason they don't want to do business with me, it's unprofessional and insulting not to close the loop. I cannot speak higher of Parker Center for Plastic Surgery. I recently received an Infiniy laser treatment from Angela Parker the RN at the practice. She knew I was a bit nervous about the procedure, so she took the time to throughly explain the procedure. Her bedside manner is above par. She really had away of relaxing me. During the actual procedure, she explained every step and before I knew it the treatment was over. Results: I was most shocked by the fantastic results I saw within a week! My pore size decreased, complexion became more vibrant, fine lines and wrinkles reduced and my neck area became more firm. I have had other laser procedures done, and they can be extremely uncomfortable! I am absolutely in love with the Infiniy laser and can't wait to get my next treatment :) I have also received a VI Peel from Krista the aesthetician located in their medispa. She was fantastic. She has great knowledge of the skin and really helped me choose the right peel to address my concerns. The VI Peel lightened my hyperpigmentation and softened fine lines and wrinkles. Spent 10,000 on liposuction to now have a deformed stomach/belly button and I gained a fupa. It seems he didn't evenly lipo the stomach and forgot about the area below my belly button. I went with this surgeon because they were nice but I wish I read more reviews. All of the good reviews are from the spa NOT from their surgery center. I spent 10k to be completely insecure of my stomach, more than I was before the liposuction. I now have to consider spending more money to go somewhere else to see about getting it fixed. Take this review and RUN to someone else. Let me also add, after the surgery there was NO bedside. I woke up and overheard the surgeon asking why I was still there. I was still groggy and they were rushing me out without any instructions. We didn't speak to Dr. Parker after the surgery whatsoever. It wasn't even 5 minutes after wake up before I was put in a wheelchair to leave. Very distasteful. I cry because I spent so much money and time for him to botch my stomach. If only 0 stars was an option....let me start by saying I don't like to write reviews, especially negative reviews. But after calling to speak with the doctor directly and being told he doesn't take any phone calls I am left with no choice. Any doctor who won't talk to patients is immediately off my list. Women please do your research. Despite some staff members being very helpful, the doctor experience was very saddening. I walked in and immediately was taken to see a nurse who was extremely blunt and overly decisive about the work I was getting done- before I ever even spoke to the doctor! She didn't even know anything about me. She went into horrific details that would have turned any normal person away. I had to ask her to tone it down which she was highly offended by. Then the doctor came in after I heard the woman whispering to him about me for quite some time outside the door (which he did not knock on until he was halfway inside the room). As I expressed concerns about his initial recommendation he accused me of hating his work and forced me to look at his website of women "with problems like me." Nice bedside manner...Something is incentivizing this man to push what smells like premeditated procedures and products to gullible people. I received false information about the products I was considering over and over and sadly let them take pictures of me that I was "to receive within the hour" and never got. Gross. It was the woman in charge of Finances who put me over the edge. This practice was one deception after the next. It was actually heart breaking to watch someone blataleny lie about finances and what is covered by insurance while holding papers in front of me to look official, but not letting me see them for myself. They didn't even have a copy of my insurance card to know anything. She completely freaked out when I asked to see them. Honestly this was the strangest experience I have ever had at a medical practice and I am extremely thankful for seeing 5 other people before stepping foot in this practice. I had 5 consultation 3 in New york 1 in NJ, and 1 in Miami. Dr. Parker was the most through and professional surgeon so i went with him. I am a woman of color and I had a lift with an Augmentation. Everything was great from day 1 to about 2 months after. In which I had a capsular contrasture (1 of the most common side affects). Long story short I had to have my implants removed and replaced. I was greatful that i did not have to pay again because I was covered under Dr. Parker for a year. I am beyond pleased with my results again. I found Dr. Parker to be a very run of the mill assembly line surgeon. Patient is a number (with dollar signs in front of it) and it seemed to me he is not truly concerned with the patient's satisfaction after the fact. Well, let me step back for a moment and establish that this wasn't a cosmetic surgery, but it did require many stitches and scaring. More scaring than what would have happened if Dr. Parker spent more time to truly explain to me the aftercare of the surgery, prescribed the proper antibiotics, and did the sturdier version of the stitching. Rather, my stitches all broke open within a week, it healed into a nasty scar, and then I returned years later to get it redone properly. Yes, the second time around did do the trick, but I spent years with a scar that shouldn't have been. However, the front staff and nurses (I think nurses or maybe PAs) were the nicest and more attentive. All in all, I am glad I didn't have any true cosmetic surgeries with this facility and Dr. Parker because I saw first hand what happens when there is a complication. read more

I wish I never went there. Before you get anything done they treat you like a superstar. After my Rhinoplasty and Chin implant I had several concerns which I brought to his attention. His exact response was " when you have a man on 3rd you don't go for the home run you just get the hit." He then continued to ask what I did for a living that i was being a perfectionist. I'm sorry that I wanted me chin to be even and my nose not to have a hanging bulb. Needless to say I kept going for check up and I was constantly brushed off even when I told them the chin was causing pain on one side. Eventually, I just stopped going bc he wasn't willing to correct his own mistakes. STAY AWAY!!! Absolutely wonderful! Dr Parker is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. The staff is very thorough answering any question you may have for your procedure. I had a breast augmentation done here in 2008 and I'm so happy to have chosen this place. After my surgery they really took care of me and my follow ups. Along with my price it included the massages to make sure I had good blood circulation after my surgery along with any bruising that may have occurred (luckily I did not have much at all). I also went for my year check up and everything looked great. It has been six years since that procedure and I have had no issues at all. I can barely find my scars! In 2010 I went to have a Parker Center tummy tuck because I was uncomfortable with some of the stretch marks from my pregnancies. I felt very relaxed going in and I knew the recovery would be the hardest BUT Dr Parker and his staff did everything possible to make me comfortable. Unfortunately I had an accident and ended up in the hospital because it was so close to when I had had my surgery but Angela was right there checking in on me along with Dr Parker they were so attentive. I went in to get everything checked out after my accident and Dr Parker and his staff made sure that I was very comfortable and that I was still continuing to heel. They are a clean and wonderful office with a great staff!! Making my appointment this week for some Botox and a massage. I recommend everyone there who wants any type of procedure done to come here. I wish there were "zero" stars to give....1 star is way to much. I went to him for a reduction (8 years ago) and I'm honestly surprised he's still in business". Maybe I can't blame him for the reopening of my stitches and infection I had for 3 months....but how he avoided me afterwards was despicable! He knew I was having issues and for the first 2 visits I saw the PA instead of him. Aside from the infection.... one breast was "Obviously" bigger than the other. Parker the butcher did my eyelid surgery in 2005. Now I can not close my eyes, even when I sleep. When I complained to him and his bucher assistant nurse/wife Angela, they were dismissive, nasty and rude. I had to sue in court. In 2011 I finally won my case. No amount of money will make up for my eyes not closing for the rest of my life, with the attending health problems. Save yourself a lot of pain and heartache and run the other way. What can I say? I was overly pleased with the outcome of my surgery performed by Dr. Parker. He is a great surgeon, and I will continue going to him if I need additional procedures. I had no pain or discomfort after my surgery, and I did not even need the pain medication he prescribed to me. I was driving after the third day of surgery. The only reason I give his office four stars is because welcoming feeling I get whenever I went to his office after the surgery. I just feel as if they are nice during the consultation, then any appointment after the actual procedure, they make you feel rushed. In my opinion, I don't care about the friendliness much, I am just extremely pleased with my results after two years. You will not regret Dr. Parker's procedures. read more

INFECTION RUNNING RAMPANT IN THIS PLACE. Avoid it like the plague. I went here for a consultation to remove 2 masses on my body. During his blunt, 5 minute consultation, he insisted I had to go under anesthesia to remove them. He doesn't take my insurance so it would cost over $2,000 for this MEDICAL, not cosmetic procedure. The surgical coordinator said to prep I had to shower with Betadine twice a day for 3 days and put neosporin in my nose, ears and belly button. She said this was the industry standard in all operating rooms. What?? I knew that was a lot of bull and even called other plastic surgeons to find out if they did the same. They did not. I can only conclude that infection is running rampant in their operating room. Hey, Parker, don't ask the patients to sterilize themselves. You take better precautions and learn how to combat infection with your own people including you. Avoid this place like the plague. Oh, and by the way, I found a plastic surgeon who laughed when I told her that he said I had to go under anesthesia. She was in my plan, did the procedure using a local anesthetic and it cost me the price of a $100 co-pay. I was elated with the results. This was my first experience with plastic surgery, and everyone at the Parker Center was wonderful. I had decided to have my upper eyelids done, but after further thought I decided to have my lower done, but I'm getting the uppers done next year. Of course there was no pressure from Dr. Parker or the staff. The decisions are completely yours. Dr. Parker took the time to speak with me at every visit and he's a nice man as well. It's been almost 6 weeks and the results are great. Thank you Dr. Parker, Cheryl, Michelle and the rest of the staff. The only negative comments I have are with respect to appointment scheduling and wait time. I guess we must remember that Dr. Parker's schedule can get backed up if a surgery runs long. If you have strict time constraints this could be a problem for you. Office visits are only scheduled in the afternoon since surgery is in the morning. My drive was an hour to the Parker Center, so an afternoon appointment was difficult for me with children coming home on the bus. I had subpectoral breast implants done. The office is really well-run, punctual, staff all very friendly, well-trained (mind you, I'm paying for this myself and choosing my own Dr. so it's a bit different than going to a regular Dr. who is unlikely to woo you). Pre-op consults felt very caring, Dr. Parker and other staff took good amount of time with me, explained pros and cons, answered my questions & concerns. All Dr Parker cares about is the money. And his staff's customer service is horrible. I was told that they would accept what they received from the insurance company, and that I should not be responsible for the balance. When they received less than they were expecting from insurance, they billed me and when I questioned it, they became belligerent and refused to talk about it. Their answer is to keep harassing me with unfair bills. I've tried to talk to them to compromise but they refuse. Do NOT have a blephoroplasty (eyelid surgery) done by Dr. Parker. I had the misfortune of doing so 4 yrs ago. He never asked to see a picture of me from an earlier time, which is something "Dr. R from Hackensack" , the plastic surgeon who corrected my eyes last month, asked me to bring to my first consultation. I am so happy with my eyes now! I finally look like myself again. I cannot tell you how upsetting looking in the mirror and seeing" someone else" these past 4 yrs has been. I am back to myself again..and that is priceless! Dr. Parker removed way too much skin from my eyelids, and removed all the fat and basically gave me sunken in hollow looking rounded eyes (I always had almond shaped eyes) . It must just be the way he gives everyone the same "cookie cutter eyes" without any consideration to the way someone's eyes used to look. I repeatedly asked him before the surgery to NOT change my eye shape . Aside from what I just described, I could not open my right eye all the way for 3 months. When I expressed my unhappiness with all of the above, Dr. Parker was nasty and didn't want to hear any of it. He was not supportive at all, and does NOT take criticism well at all. I absolutely loved this place. From the moment I walked in through the doors the clerical staff was more than welcoming and charming. The entire staff genuinely cares about their patients. Angela is one of the most amazing nurses I have ever come in contact with. She cares about each and every patient she sees. She gives honest advice and wont let you come out looking like one of those fake plastic surgery bimbos on TV! She truly cares. I came for a tummy tuck (after having three children things can get a bit rough). Angela was very thorough with answering every question I had.
