His meticulous attention to detail is second to none. He is also intuitive. While performing the surgery, Dr. Martin directed the efforts of his technical team seamlessly and cohesively. My surgery was a complete success, and my comfort, both physical and emotional, was ensured throughout. There was never a moment I did not feel cared for. The post surgical after-care far exceeded my expectations. Because I have an unrelated serious medical condition, Dr. Martin personally consulted a Pharmacist before prescribing medication to ensure there were no contraindications or drug interaction issues. He provided my husband and me with a direct contact number so we could call him if there was need. Then later that day, he called my home to ensure I was still doing well. Such dedication to a patient's well being is unprecedented! That is the way of Martin Endodontics. From my initial consultation to my post-surgical follow-up appointment, I was treated with compassion and sensitivity. I am the biggest scaredy-cat ever when it comes to getting dental work. No kidding...I have to have oral sedation for fillings. Imagine my trepidation when I learned I had several cracks in my rear molar that would require a difficult root canal outside my regular dentist's area of expertise. I was referred to Dr Martin who came highly recommended. My dentist said everyone he refers really likes Dr. Martin and, thankfully, I was no exception. From start to finish, it turned out to be the easiest root canal ever. From the consult, X-rays, and quick assessment, to the root canal itself, Dr Martin and his staff handled the situation with kid gloves. They were gentle, supportive, and reassuring. I really appreciate their patient-centered treatment. If you have the misfortune of needing a root canal, Dr Martin is your guy! BTW, after the root canal, my tooth had a slightly sharp edge that was pressing against the side of my tongue and causing some discomfort. It felt fine when he contacted me the day after my appointment to see how I was doing (nice touch!), but over the course of the day, it started to bother me. So, I contacted him the next morning and he said they'd fit me in that day. I arrived promptly at 2:15, did my COVID check in, and they took me straight back to the chair. Hello all! I'm a dental chicken. I dread going to any form of dental office. I had to have a root canal done the other day, intense pain with chewing, dead nerve and all. (Gross I know) So I was referred to this office. I had only heard horror stories about root canals. Literally when I told my friends I was going to have a root canal they had a look of abject horror like I told them I had 1 month to live. So I walked in to the office, it was an old farm house style. Warm, comforting, friendly. I thought "oh man this is how they get you...". The receptionist was genuine and very friendly (ok is she the token nice person here?). Nope, Blanca my hygienist was very sweet and patient. (Ok people 2/2, the dr. has got to be a real Turkey). Nope, he was absolutely delightful! He was friendly, spoke cornbread English for the laymen. Thank God! The Dr. gave me 3 numbing shots, they weren't fun but they weren't bad. Remember dental chicken here. Procedure was painless. (Side note: I had my wisdom teeth removed yrs ago. I WOKE up in the middle of the procedure. Not cool. Terrifying for everyone involved). But this dentist was amazing. Staff fabulous! Excellent from start to finish. Wish you did more than root canals!! I would switch in a heartbeat!! I am very impressed with Dr McNary! If you want to have an exellent experience getting a root canal, go see Dr McNary. She is a kind, compassionate person, and I was pretty nervious by the time I found her. I had put off having a root canal done because I have heard many negative things about it. I didn't trust anyone to do this proceedure on me until I met Dr McNary. Her voice is so soothing and she put me at ease. I felt comfortable my first visit to her office. She patiently explained to me what would be done. She showed me on my xray why it needed to be done. She was very gentle and the proceedure was practically painless. She let me know what she was doing step by step, and checked to make sure I was doing ok before moving on. She is truly a blessing! Dr Martin is outstanding, and I am so grateful to him and his office for the excellent care they provided to my young child, who required a root canal following a tooth injury. Prior to the appointment, Dr Martin explained my child's options very clearly and answered all of my questions. He had realistic expectations about how long kids can sit still and what kind of directions they can follow, and worked quickly and expertly to get the procedure done. My daughter had no pain--it was about as easy as a routine cleaning. First off let me tell you about the amazing Dr. Bickel. He is an amazing person who takes care of his patients by explaining how he will proceed with your treatment plan. And Dr. Bickel is the best at giving you the numbing shots to where you don't even feel the needle. He's exceptional at it and very professional. His assistants and office staff were all helpful and professional too. Root canals are more than just a one stop visit so you'll need to go into the office a few different times to complete the treatment. And every time I went, was no different from the previous one. Very well run offices and always professional and nice too. I can highly recommend Dr. Bickel and the team at Martin Nelson Endodontic Group. I was referred to Dr. Martin by Powell and Tiller. I needed a root canal under an existing crown. Dr. Martin took his time to explain the procedure and all that could possibly go wrong, prior to performing it. He was very careful about drilling through the crown with incrementally larger drill bits so that he would not crack it. He did a great job of numbing the area and I never felt any discomfort throughout. There were no complications afterward and very little pain, which was short-lived and easily controlled with just Tylenol. The office made a couple of follow-up calls to make sure all was well. The staff were friendly and very competent. I will definitely use Dr. Martin for any future root canals that I might need and highly recommend him. read more

I never thought that I would be recommending a place that does root canals! But people need to know to come to Dr. McNary at Martin Nelson endodontic group if you need a root canal. I was dreading the whole thing since I had a root canal 12 years ago and it took a long time and it was icky. I was happy how the doctor was so relaxed, really knew what she was doing, let me know how it was going during the procedure, she actually made me laugh a few times and it did not take nearly as long as expected and it was painless. I needed two visits and they were both better than going to a regular dentist actually! They took my Met Life dental insurance. I highly recommend Dr. McNary and her team! read more

The Martin Nelson Endodontic Group is the best Endodontic practice I've had the pleasure of choosing to perform a root canal treatment. A week ago, I started to experience pain after having two temporary crowns placed on two teeth, and I struggled for several days to identify which of the two were causing me pain. Not only was Dr. Martin able to help me identify the cause of my pain, but he also did an astounding job before, during, and after the root canal treatment. I went to Dr. Martin because I had a tooth my dentist was unsure could be saved. Dr. Martin's office staff were professional, efficient, and were able to get me worked in quickly. Dr. Martin advised us of our options and recommended a root canal. They were able to accommodate us quickly and the root canal, although complicated for multiple reasons, went perfectly. I fully expected acute pain and soreness the next few days, but I never experienced any. He did such a good job that it felt like a glove (as if it belonged). I can't say enough good about my experience. It's hard to love an Endodontis, for obvious reasons, but he made the whole experience as positive as possible! read more

Dr. Martin and his assistant, Chastity, were great. My dentist told me I needed a root canal on a Tuesday, and by noon the next day Dr. Martin was doing the procedure. I had never had a root canal before, so I was plenty nervous, as it's known as this big, scary procedure. I was put at ease by both him and Chas, and the whole thing start to finish was less than two hours. The procedure itself was about 45 minutes. No pain. The banter and conversation between the dr and assistant was easy going and they are quite a funny pair. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin. My wife and I just moved here from Dallas. I've been having some pain in a tooth for about a month now. I thought it was in an existing crown so my dentist in Dallas recommended I go straight to an Endodontic specialist. I Googled and found great reviews for Dr. Martin. He was able to see me the next day. I thought he was terrific. Examined my crown and a couple teeth surrounding it. Turns out I have a crack in another tooth. No issues with the crown, meaning no need for a root canal. So honest. So nice. Would recommend him solely on his honesty. If I do ever need a root canal, I will for sure go to Dr Martin. read more

To explain my experience at Martin Endodontics in one word, SUPERB! Dr. Martin (along with his associates) treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I was a bit hestitate because of the procedure being administered (a root canal), but Dr. Martin put me at ease and went to work. My 12 year old daughter had a whistle/bike accident she needed two root canals. She went in for her first visit with Dr. Nelson and when it came around two weeks later to go back, she was excited. Sounds strange that a child her age would even want to go back. But Dr. Nelson is amazing and talked Kaitlen through everything to keep her relaxed. An excellent provider! My general dentist referred me for a root canal which I fully expected Dr. Martin to complete. After x-rays and an exam, Dr. Martin advised that a root canal was not necessary, saving me an unnecessary procedure and money. He also referred me back to my general dentist for a replacement crown rather than suggesting that he complete the work himself which was the professional thing to do for his colleague. I saw Dr Martin for tooth that needed a root canal. He promised that the work would be pain free but that after the Novocain wore off it would probably be sore for a few days. He was right about no pain during the procedure. He did great work and I felt nothing. However, I kept waiting for the discomfort once the anesthetic wore off and nothing ever developed! I was extremely nervous prior to my first root canal. Dr. Martin helped calm my nerves and did a fantastic job. It was painless.
