It's the sort of park that you wouldn't necessarily travel for. It's your run-of-the mill neighborhood park that takes up about a quarter of a block. It's across the street from the Giant Eagle on Bunts. It's got a fairly large (but obviously not Lincoln Park large) grassy area, a playground with one big swing, one baby swing, a slide/jungle gym, etc. It also has a tennis court and a water fountain. Very nice to have nearby when you don't really want to "commit" to going to Lakewood Park. But again, probably not worth it unless you a) are at Giant Eagle and want to plant yourself somewhere for a few minutes to hang out; b) have a kid and live in the vicinity, or c) want to plan to meet someone for a picnic or something.

Now I already know I'll be back, because we only explored part of it -- but what my sister, her pup, and I wandered through was fun, peaceful, and a little adventurous. At one point there was literally a giant mallard just standing in the middle of the woods like he owned the place. And then there were stairs that climb straight up the side of the mountain -- okay, hill -- but it felt like a mountain in the best way. The whole walk made me feel free. If you ever find yourself wanting a moment outside, a breath of fresh air, or just a place to wander, stop here. It's worth it.

There is a decent community pool complete with a slide for thrill seekers. There is a lot of chatter around town about Gordon Square, North Collinwood, Ohio City and other neighborhoods getting hip. I hope that Birdtown in Lakewood can make the same transition. Madison Park serves as the anchor.

There is a lap pool, diving pool, warm water pool, 2 slides, a lazy river and a kiddie pool that has zero entry. It's a great way to visit a tropical climate while it's snowy in cleveland (they keep it toasty and warm in the pool area!). 2) the group exercise classes- we personally love Insanity, by teacher Liz Simon! It is Wednesdays at 6:30 and really an awesome workout. We enjoy the upbeat teacher who keeps us motivated, we love the good music and we also love how the workout it always changing. So it's never a dull moment. That hour flies by!! 3) the exercise machines - I personally like the treadmills, but there are ellipticals, nautilus machines, rowing machines, etc. 4) the birthday parties! our kids have had their birthday party here, and it is a really fun experience for all! 5) the facility is extra clean (especially the locker rooms) 6) open gym! We love to go and shoot hoops every now and then :) Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!
