The paths are lovingly maintained. I have visited in all seasons and conditions. Check out the town website for all of the community events hosted here as well as hours for the park and nature center. The historic home is open for tours and tells the story of the farm and family that owned it for 6 generations. There are restrooms near the parking lot area by the home. A small children's garden, a playground, a labyrinth /maze and exercise stations are just some of the things of note. There are plenty of benches to sit and relax and take in the views. This park is ADA compliant.

Buckland park has 3 different playgrounds spread out in one big park. One is more suited for toddlers, another for smaller kids (3-5) and then finally another one for bigger kids (5+). So if your kid gets tired of one, they can walk to another one. There are plenty of fields to run around on, fly kites, etc. Seems like there's always some children's baseball going on there. There's also a relatively new and well maintained basketball (4 hoops) and tennis courts (2). A good place to host a child's birthday part. I believe there is some indoor space that can be rented (lodge/ pavilion).

Decent indoor playground in Henrietta near RIT…read more Located in a warehouse-like building with tall ceilings, it's got a large pirate ship themed play structure in the middle. It also has a large bounce house, a small bicycle course, a foam block area, a sensory bin gem section and a pretty impressive water play area. I think the water play area was the most impressive part of the indoor playground. It was also nice to have a cafe in the middle with plentiful seating and a decent selection of kids snacks and foods (pizza, grilled cheese, sandwiches). Pricing I think was comparable to other indoor playgrounds, except they made me buy socks which was a bit annoying (I guess you can bring your own, but my girls were wearing sandals). It was about ~ $45 dollars for 2 kids, but unlimited time and I believe you can exit and come back later (which is another plus). Overall a good option on a rainy or snowy day to let the kids blow off some steam. My girls weren't THAT into the water play section, so I would probably be better off just going to the Strong Museum where we have an annual pass and has more activities.

This park is located in Henreitta and is a super clean and nice both dog park and disc golf course. The disc golf course is not a full disc golf course it's only 9 holes and they are par 3 or less for each hole. Making it to be somewhat "easier" of a course. However in my opinion this is an easier course than most bc the disc golf bins are so much closer to you than other parks such as elision. I do like the Elison park more in other respects though. The dog park, I've been to all the dog parks as well. This I also my favorite dog park in Rochester. They have two dog parks in one - one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The small dogs are allowed to go into the large dog area which is much bigger and has a little creek to plY and get extremely dirty in ... the smaller dog park is only for small dogs and has a lot of fun "playgrounds" to do tricks with your dog and no water! So you and your pup won't leave dirty. Both also have doggy fountains and doggy bags to keep the dog park cleans. FYI the disc golf course is public and free to anyone; the dog parks is Monroe county memebership through the libraries in Rochester and need a pass to get into. The pass includes the 4 only "private"dog parks in Rochester and is 20 dollars a year. If you love your dog and your dog loves playing with strangers it's worth it for sure. DIRTY- FILTHY- DIRTY!!! I hate being this person but man is this place gross. Every time I've…read morecome here it's been a weekday morning. They open at 10am and I'm usually here for two hours. They open their doors at 10am and the floors are filthy. The carpets are filthy. The bathrooms are filthy. The area near the lockers....filthy! Arcade area.... Filthy. Tons of garbage, tons of wads of old gum....... No one cares in this place. Why??? Probably because the staff consists of a bunch of young kids on their cell phones. Never have I seen the staff members leave the front desk. Never see them walking around keeping an eye on patrons.... Or caring about about the garbage and dirtiness patrons encounter. I might expect some of this filthiness on a weekend when you're jampacked with parties and kids off from school.... But Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday..... best get to cleaning please. I think Nova in Greece gonna give you a run for your money.

The park was easy to find and I immediately noticed that it was well maintained. The lodge has a full kitchen, is clean and spacious. They also have an outdoor patio area for grilling, and the best part is that the grills are under an awning incase it decides to rain on the day of your event. The lodge also has a fully functioning fireplace, which is gigantic. This is a great spot to rent for casual events like birthdays, graduation parties or even a holiday party.
