Brad and Chris have always been very accommodating for my schedule. Unfortunately, had my oil changed yesterday (2/1/24) by Ken and it was sloppily done. While driving the vehicle away it started to smoke, especially while sitting at a stop light. Pulled into a parking lot and opened the hood and smoke started rolling out. At that point noticed a large spill of oil from the fill spout down the engine block. Called and Brad and explained what was going on, took it back so they could clean the mess made by Ken. We know spills happen, but cleaning up after such a spill is the sign of someone who cares about the work that they do. I will definitely be back, but only if Ken does not do a simple oil change.

He's working on my…read morecar as I write this, and I'll update once it's complete -- though based on his other reviews, I can't imagine it'll be anything but great. I first called him for quotes on my starter, struts, and brakes. His pricing came in well below the 3-4 other quotes I'd gotten. But the bigger thing was that he spent over an hour on the phone with me, across a few calls, just trying to figure out what was actually wrong. I'd assumed it was the starter. So did a buddy I call for car help. So I ordered three parts online -- and felt a small, misplaced sense of pride at managing that on my own at dinner with my family. Talking to Thomas, it became clear that unlike most mechanics or service writers who just book the job for someone else to do, he was genuinely trying to help, and was far and away the most knowledgeable and straightforward person I'd spoken to. When we scheduled the appointment, he asked if I was sure I'd ordered the right parts, since I'd told him I know nothing about cars. I sent him the invoice. Every single part was wrong, for different reasons -- and I'd only ordered one side instead of both. Embarrassing, but we caught it before anything shipped, and he walked me through the correct parts and explained why the price, quality, and value differed across the options. I then sent him a video with audio of the main issue, and he determined it definitely wasn't the starter. That let me return that part too. Most shops would have just installed what I asked for and let me find out later -- after all, I bought it and asked them to. My car has around 230,000 miles on it, and I turn down most repair suggestions. At this point everything can be replaced, but I'm not putting more into it than it's worth. Thomas mentioned a transmission drain and flush for $300 -- mentioned it once, never pushed -- and I did it purely because I'd come to trust his read over my own. I also had squeaky brakes and asked him to quote parts and labor, even though they'd been replaced a year ago. After looking at them, he said the brakes were fine and gave me three options: clean the pads to kill the noise, leave them alone, or just replace the pads. I went with new pads. That took $300 off my $1,100 bill -- and could have been $500 off if I'd waited on the pads. This is the longest review I've ever written. I'm in sales and have worked at a car dealership so I know how rare it is to find people in the industry who actually check every box from expertise, customer service, affordability, quality of service, AND reliability. Thomas checked every box, plus one I didn't know existed. If you're in Las Vegas or Henderson, this is the guy.
