Zenith Auto Care is a helpful auto shop and they specialize in Japanese cars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The customer service is welcoming and answers all questions with as much detail as possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I found this shop because my 2016 Nissan Maxima needed new tires so I went to Costco and bought tires but Costco doesn't offer wheel alignments so they recommended a shop for the service. Zenith Auto Care is a part of the Costco Auto Program so Costco members receive 15% off services or parts at this shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called to schedule the wheel alignment appointment and they were able to fit me in later that day. We didn't end up doing much, but were very satisfied with our experience at Zenith. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were in town visiting family when our check engine light came on. I took my new to me 2015 Lexus RCF with 19,000 miles. Besides the oil I dont know when the rest of the fluids were changed especially since the car has been driven for only 19,000 miles. I wanted to have peace of mind so I wanted Zenith to do the job because of their great reputation. They changed the oil, brake fluid, differential fluid, coolant, and transmission fluid for $820. The price was extremely fair, especially compared to what other local Asian vehicle shops and the Lexus dealership were quoting me over $2300. They were quick in performing the services to get the car back to me. I will also be bringing my wifes Lexus to get serviced in the future! Also they have a very nice clean shop and waiting area! I took my car into Zennith Auto Care about a year ago for a transmission fluid change at about 100k-105K miles. After just 5,000ish miles, the car started showing a code for a TCC sensor, indicating a torque sensor issue? Given that we barely drive the car--5,000 miles in a year is far below the average, used to take the kids to school and grab groceries--I was surprised to see transmission problems arise after a transmission fluid change from Zenith Auto Care! They have like 50 Certifications on their wall!!! When I asked why these issues emerged after the service, the response was very disappointing. I was told they don't have a "Crystal Ball" to predict the future.(Who says that?!) Moreover, they claimed my transmission fluid hadn't been changed at all and insisted it should be replaced every 30,000 miles(Less if you drive a manual "sports car"). However, I know that the recommendation for automatics is typically 100k miles, and I've never heard of anyone changing their automatic transmission fluid that frequently, especially if they don't drive it very much and its a corolla... I can't shake the feeling that something was done during my visit that induced this problem? Did they even change the fluid? Yes, they were the last ones to service the transmission fluid. Additionally, I was charged $145 for a service, even though I specifically asked if they "repaired" transmissions; they only replace transmissions or "specific codes" not the current code though....could have said that from the beginning but easy money for them I guess. Very expensive automotive repair advice and code clear! Sorry for the lengthy review, but I feel this needs to be shared. If you start having problems after they service your vehicle, best believe that your Carfax is gonna get thrown at you. Like you did something wrong. "Cause ya, we have like 50 certs on our wall. We know stuff. Yeah transmission look at your carfax...replace it 2400$. No? Okay then that'll be 145$." But you guys were the last shop to service my vehicle....MAGIC CRYSTAL BALL! 145$ for your keys, code clear, and advice. I was hoping this was going to be my "GO TO" shop for both my vehicles because they have pictures of NSXs, a nice porche, AND a GTR on their google review pictures...NOPE. Alexei is a POS. I won a small claims court decision despite him attempting to avoid service, and he still won't give me my money back (he's hiding from the constable). It was never really about the money, so I'm just going to post this and wash my hands of this douchebag. I expressed frustration in other shops throwing parts at my car to fix a chirping noise, and he said that those shops should've guaranteed my repair. He assured me that if they didn't fix my problem, they wouldn't charge me. I tried to forego a diagnostic because I was pretty sure I knew what was wrong with it, but he insisted it was required (but also said that he wouldn't charge me for that, either, if they could figure out the problem within 10-15 minutes). What the hell, I thought. I bring my car in at my appointment time, wait over an hour, and decide to just head back to work while I wait (I was hoping to be there for the diagnostic). They called me several hours later saying they couldn't hear the chirping noise. I explained that the car had to be warm, but despite driving it, they still couldn't hear it. I get a ride 20 minutes back to the shop, drive the car for 5 minutes myself, and all of a sudden the noise is present. Imagine that. They come up with a diagnosis in minutes, and have me pay for the repair ahead of time (Less than 15 minutes after I come back with the car chirping). They call me when they're about to close to come get my car.... I get my keys, start the car, and I hear the noise. I call and they say to bring it back in. I had to wait about a week until my schedule permitted me to return. The mechanics looked at the car for about 30 minutes, and determined they had no idea what was making the noise. They brought me back up to the front to speak to Alexei who wanted to charge me another $200+ to re-diagnose my vehicle, and then obviously more to do another "repair". I left, and called Amex. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sent screenshots of our conversations through Yelp that documented his promise to not charge me if they couldn't fix my issue, but they sided with him anyways.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He kept lying and saying that I didn't express any dissatisfaction, and had documentation that I approved the repair. Of course I approved the repair, or you wouldn't have completed the work? Why would I have called 5 minutes after I picked up my car if I was satisfied? Should I have been a complete asshole about it in person? In hindsight, I wish I would have been. I brought all of this documentation with me to small claims, and the Judge ruled in my favor. Too bad I have no way of holding this dumbass accountable. (I don't live in Vegas anymore and frankly it's not worth the headache for $700) To be clear, I don't necessarily think it's a horrible shop. I believe they are decent mechanics, but just had a hard time (like every other shop I've been to) properly diagnosing my car. However, that's why I expressed that frustration to begin with and only proceeded because of Alexei's guarantee. I will say that even if Alexei was gone I wouldn't return because it was still expensive. TLDR; Imagine talking to the manager of an electronics store about TV's - he talks you into a purchase while boasting about their amazing return policy that is better than all of the other stores around. You buy the TV thinking you have nothing to worry about - you'll just try it out. You bring it home, and find it cracked right out of the box. When you go to bring it back, the manager acts like he's never seen you before, and explains to you that they don't offer returns. That's essentially what happened to me here. This is an awesome company! I messaged on yelp for a quote for an oil change on my car... quick response and set me up with a next day appointment right away. They offered same day but I was really busy. I really like that they sent me a reminder text! I showed up for my appointment and the guy up front was really nice. Showed me the total upfront which was what was quoted to me. No up-sale or pushing products on me. I even asked in I needed a new filter and he said probably not because it's a 2022 but would check for me... this has never happens to me, it's always a hard push then try and make me feel dumb for not buying. Oil change was quick. I just chilled on the waiting room which had TV, WI-FI, water, and magazines. I had a small oil leaked that I asked them to look at and they checked it out... the guy said my car would still be under warranty and to take it to the dealership so I wouldn't have to pay for it... what? I don't know any shop that wouldn't try to get me to pay to do it there. I am attaching a few pics of the repot they emailed me with what they did plus pics of my oil leak and my air filter. The best experience one could ask for! The folks at Zenith are honest, fair and chill. Considering I know essentially next to nothing about cars... surprise! :P They provide a nice report with updates as they're working on maintenance/repairs that can be sent by email or text. I've found their waiting area to be quite hospitable. While I was waiting for my front brakes, I connected to the Wifi in the lobby and was able to get through some work/emails. There's a candy bowl that's hardly ever empty along with a TV that I streamed House of the Dragon via HBO Max for 20 mins from my phone and nobody said anything... they also had charging cables for every device if you needed a quick charge while waiting for service. I've been coming here for the last couple years and recommended Zenith to all of my friends that need help with their vehicles. read more

I give at least three stars because of the way they treat their customers. My main problem was electrical. My door locks were not working right; rear window would not roll up from master switch on drivers side. Problems were particially resolved. Door locks only work now and then. Key fob works part time. Not sure if it was their problem or just that the car is getting old (2010 Honda (Odyssee). Can not reprogram the overhead gate remote like it was before the car was worked on. Each finding shows an urgency/severity level and a fix or not fix text respond options. The entire interaction was simple and informative. I've been in this place 2x now. The first time was a diagnosis appointment for a check engine light that has been turning on and off for months. I was told that I could not wait in the shop as it was going to take all day to do the diagnosis. I've never had a car repair shop ever tell me that I cannot stay and wait for my vehicle. I did not arrange for a ride to take me back home because I was not aware that I could not wait for my car. I digressed and ordered me an Uber. In retrospect, it was a better decision for me as I had just got home from work and was exhausted. I came back 3 weeks later to get my AC checked/fix. This time around the estimated time of diagnosis is 45-60 mins and I was allowed to stay and wait for my vehicle. Their waiting room is tiny, having seats for maybe 3 people but they have a charging station, TV, magazines, and water dispenser. They're reasonably priced, work efficient, and experts in Japanese export car. However, being experts in Japanese car is also limiting them to service other vehicles. also their location is lowkey hidden, it isn't facing any major street, but not impossible to find. Hopefully, their business grows and move to a bigger location, expand their clientele so that I can take all my cars to them. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Brought car in for front brakes and a number of preventative items. Everything seemed to be going well until I get a text saying the car ran out of gas while idling and they would add gas at my cost. I know for a fact the car had about a quarter tank of fuel and no gas light on when i dropped it off. They claimed to drive four miles and idled for 15 minutes. How long does a car need to idle for gas to run out??? That car would have needed to be 50 miles passed 0 on the range estimate when brought into the shop to run out of fuel based on that claim. I received the car and the passenger seat was laying flat and clips for my dog carrier were undone. Maybe someone used my car as a nice place to nap in the AC on their lunch break to drain the tank. Own your employees making mistakes and move on. I give credit where credit is due and Andrew went above and beyond walking to get fuel in the hot weather. I definitely gave him an undeserved earful when he relayed the news, but he handled it professionally. I wouldn't trust the mechanics as far as i could throw them. Hard to find a good mechanic and after trying these guys, the search is still going. read more

My husband and I have been bringing our cars here for several years now even though we have to drive completely across town. They are very honest and don't price gouge. We've gotten quotes here that were half the price of other shops nearer to our home. I love the system they use for inspection where you are sent a link and everything is broken down for you and there are photos of each issue with comments. You simply select the services right there on the site and it gives you a breakdown. Super easy and it gives you peace of mind having the photos. This place is awesome! Took my 2020 Tacoma in to diagnose a Check Engine Light. I was ready to invoke my extended warranty and pay my $250 deductible and hope for the best. Turns out, it's a fuel pump issue covered by a recall from Toyota. Zenith Auto Care recommended that I take the vehicle to Toyota for the free repair and didn't even charge me one single dollar for the diagnosis. An Honest repair shop???
