I picked it up a week or two later after it was finally repaired only to find the same issues. When I tried to have the the shop honour their warranty, I was told they were shortstaffed and could not even try to remedy it for at least a few weeks . After I took it back for the third time I discovered that the owner of the shop was using it to commute to his house and keeping it in his driveway overnight! I suspect he had been doing that for weeks during the second repair as well by the mileage indicated . I have recovered my truck with the help of the police and I am going to request a full refund for my transmission work and getting it repaired by another company.. This supposed 18 month warranty is worth absolutely nothing and this has been my experience. I hope it helps others to make a valid decision on where to go to get your vehicle and transmission repaired..

I called to make an appointment for fluid exchanges as my car is nearing 90,000 miles. Before they scheduled the fluid exchanges I requested, they offered to do research to look into my specific make, model, and year to ensure that the items I was asking for would be due and pertinent. They called back within 10 minutes, gave me the research the found, and suggested a transmission exchange service and brake fluid exchange. I dropped my car the morning of my appointment and they were done before 2:00. This is the first car shop I've been to that doesn't smell of oil and tires. And the men behind the counter were dressed nicely in button down shirts with ties. They explained what the services would entail and what they should help with. And boy did my car sound and drive better than she has in a while! I recently went online to schedule an oil change and it was the easiest scheduling platform I've used. I pay and pick my truck up later just to find out they didn't do a flush or filter, only a drain and refill. I questioned them and was assured it was done. I sent photos showing the pan, and lines hadn't been touched. She then reverses her story about how it is not serviceable, another lie.... The next time I drove my truck, it began to shift erratically and spilled fluid while driving down the 80. I had to limp it back and leave it again while they checked it. Come to find out on the original service, they overfilled the transmission causing these problems. They were supposed to flush and change the filter the second time, too. Nope, another lie. The entire underside of my truck is now covered in oil, and they will no longer respond or speak to me. Stay away, Sierra trans are crooks and liars.

They found multiple issues like intake leaks, an injector problem, and a radiator leak, but I never felt pressured to fix everything at once. I really appreciated that they worked with me and let me prioritize what I could afford. I ended up fixing the main issue, and the misfire is now gone. The car is running much better. Repairs aren't cheap, but I felt like they were honest and transparent throughout the whole process. Communication was great, and I always knew what was going on.
