The office was clean & professional, Hannah, , the office manager, was there to greet me and Dr Nuno was very knowledgable and caring. I appreciated Dr Nuno's systematic approach to a treatment plan which included an X-Ray and a follow up visit to walk me thru the issues and treatment plan. Having the luxury of now being 4 weeks into my treatment plan, the process worked exactly as Dr Nuno laid out when we started the treatment. Bottom line-the treatment plan worked. I am back trail running with my dogs, going to the gym and hiking with my family. I am so happy. I AM BACK BABY!!

This condition continued over several weeks, so instead of taking pills, I decided to see a chiropractor for the first time. I saw three chiropractors without satisfaction, before I was treated by Dr. Katona, who fixed me up after two weeks. But what really convinced me to continue with Dr. Katona was that he also found and treated a persistent, low-level sore spot that I had in my middle back without my ever mentioning it. Since then, Dr. Katona has treated me over the years for physical injuries, the usual "overdoing it" in life, and the "tune up" adjustments every two months that keep me straight and limber as I age. I should mention that my wife is also a patient of Dr. Katona who was successfully treated for her acid-reflux due to a hiatal hernia. My wife was treated by medical doctors over a period of three years, who mostly prescribed antacids for her worsening condition. She learned that chiropractic care might be able to help her, so she went to Dr. Katona who after a few adjustments, "cured" her. I don't know if it will be the same for everyone with acid-reflux, but I do not exaggerate when I say it was a miracle treatment for my wife. That cost another ~$150. No treatment one the first day. No hands on assessment by the chiropractor. Went back the second day (today) and sat in a room and listened to someone named Alex White who was in some remote location. He was called the "Case Manager". I'm sure he's not a radiologist or a chiropractor yet he was discussing my x-rays. His level of education was not disclosed to me. My x-rays were of poor quality and did not have a clear view of my ribs (which is the reason I sought care). I believe the case manager was to explain to me how much it would cost for future treatment. We never got to that discussion. I asked about getting my ribs assessed and treated by the chiropractor. I was initially told there would be yet another fee! This was waived due to the initial delay and "confusion" about why I was there. I did see Dr. Zak who adjusted my ribs eventually. Still no hands on assessment. This business model is a mess and poorly explained. I feel as though I wasted $200 for poor quality x-rays and minimum of thoracic spine adjustment. Awful health care. Horrible!! This is borderline malpractice.
