All I can say is Dr. Pam has absolute magical healing hands! I've seen most of the reviews about sore backs, necks, feet, and legs, well I'm going to tell you about a different reason I went to see Dr. Pam... a cold (or bug) that was kicking my butt!! You see, both Doctors Pam and Chris educated me a long time ago about how important keeping our bodies adjusted and in proper alignment is to our overall health, and can help with pretty much anything. When I got there I was feeling horrible and could barely talk (hoarse), I was coughing, had a ton of congestion, and was literally having body aches from head to toe! I asked Dr. Pam to give me a "super duper" adjustment, and she did just that! Literally half way through the adjustment I felt the congestion loosen, and believe it or not, my voice came back right then and there! Years of sports and multiple car accidents, topped off with a couple of late life pregnancies means I now have some chronic back issues that seem to get worse each year. A few years ago it got so bad that my co-worker bugged me until I would try their chiropractor. I went, and she was able to help me heal faster and then stay pain free with just one monthly visit. But then she moved out of the area and her replacement wasn't able to keep that going - I had a bad relapse just a couple months into her taking over - so I stopped going. They are also extremely accommodating of the problems that we have getting there, on time or at all, because of various health and other difficulties. I've had chiropractic therapy for almost three decades. I've always been very happy with my care. I was new to the area and decided to give this place a try. When I went in I was in desperate need of therapy, I couldn't turn my head to the right at ALL and very limited mobility to the left. The staff is friendly, I was able to get a very short notice appt. I was told they needed to do an xray which of course is extra but I anticipated as much since I was new. It's a husband wife team deal. The first thing they do is put you on this weird table with rollers under you to "stretch" you first. I've never experienced anything like this but I go with it. No heat. No tens unit. No ultra sound therapy. No manual fascia work. Just this weird table thing and then a cold adjustment. The initial visit, the husband adjusted me but decided to do a very limited neck adjustment due to the severe condition it was in. He didn't adjust my neck to the right but did my back and my neck on the left, it hurt but not unbearable, woke up feeling a slight bit of relief. I had been advised to return the very next morning for a second adjustment. I returned and again put on the table and then another cold adjustment but this time by the wife. She was very rough, and cranked my neck so hard both directions.when she turned my neck to the right I actually yelled out in pain. I left there in so much pain and it took over two months for me to regain range of motion in my neck back. Their receptionist left me several messages to schedule follow up appointments but I ignored all of them. No thank you. I'll drive an hr to the Dr. I had been seeing previously. At least there they apply heat, tens unit and you get like a 10 minute massage to loosen you up before the adjustment. Moral of the story, know your body and dont go anywhere new unless you have to but I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
