Great place for some breakfast and their biscuits are delicious! Service is nice. They always ask you if you need any sauce. Haven't eaten inside yet

This is the Martin's location in Carrollton GA!

Martin's is a classic greasy spoon breakfast Drive Thru joint with many locations around the NW Atlanta area. They have been in business for many years and have an almost Cult like following. There is always a line of cars stretched down the road waiting to get through. Before Covid they had indoor seating. They specialize in big Cat Head Biscuits made fresh with almost any kind of yummy filling you can think of. They have a few lunch options. They do what they do very well. They usually close about 2pm each day. Their employees are friendly and fast. They usually buy locations that other fast food joints leave vacant. Their food is just plain yummy... Like your Granny would make. There is nothing fancy here. They have not upgraded their places in years and they show it. Their drive thru lines move quickly. The prices are fair and serving sizes are generous. These are gotta try joints... especially if the line is not too long!

I feel like I missed a memo or didn't know the secret code phrase. After seeing the traffic and lines are Martin's, I decided to see what it was about. Martin's is your standard quasi-fast food restaurant. But that's all it is. There's no wow factor. There's no hook. The food was lackluster and I was expecting my taste buds to be blown away. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The "egg" was sad, the biscuit wasn't anything to cheer about, and I could buy the hashbrown patty and cook it myself. The service was speedy, which was nice. However, I could prepare most of their menu at home with greater flavor and less cost. When customers can do that, are you really that good of a place? Like I said, maybe I missed the memo or had expectations too high but Martin's didn't do it for me.

I call it the industry standard; attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great experience. When we stopped in for lunch, there was only one other diner in the restaurant, but don't let that fool you. If you're in the area, this spot is worth a visit. Chat & Choo offers an interesting American-Thai fusion menu that combines familiar comfort foods with unique twists. One surprise favorite for me was the spinach and mozzarella spring rolls. I didn't realize I needed those in my life, but they were absolutely delicious. Such simple ingredients, yet they worked perfectly together. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was very good. My friend went with the breakfast steak, eggs, and grits, along with a colossal-sized pancake. He couldn't stop talking about how much he enjoyed his meal. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Even if the food had been average, Grace's professionalism and warmth would have made the visit memorable. Too many restaurants overlook the importance of greeting guests properly, checking on them throughout their meal, and making them feel appreciated when they leave. Grace did all of those things effortlessly. I had never heard of Chat & Choo before this visit, but I'll definitely be returning with friends. Great service creates loyal customers, and that's exactly what happened here.

The service and staff are fantastic. I have a gluten intolerance so they are very good at accommodating for food restrictions. The train does drive-by, and there's a brief moment where they train horn blows and it's relatively loud, but the building itself is well insulated. So it doesn't disturb your meeting.

The Trading Post Cafe is a spot where local folks come to eat. A visitor can easily spot the "regulars" chatting with their servers. The staff is patient, attentive and extremely kind. We were visiting the area and found The Trading Post Cafe via Google when looking for a breakfast spot. Our entire party agreed that it was the highlight of our day! Our server, Kate, to exceptional care of us. The menu had plenty of options for whatever size appetite. We were their for breakfast and enjoyed the southern comfort food...especially the pancakes, biscuits and apples!

When my server came back several minutes later, she asked how my breakfast was. I pointed to the corned beef hash's burned side and mentioned they. No apology offered. She asked with indifference if I wanted them to remake them. I said yes. She said it'll be a bit. I told her never mind, I don't have time. She said ok and walked away. At the register I was asked if everything was good. I said no. I was asked what was wrong. I said the corned beef hash was overcooked and crusty. She asked if I told my server. I said yes. She then gave me the total due without even offering to remove the burnt food. This food was seen by the cook and server at a minimum and nobody cared from those two moments till I paid.

From the outside to the inside, it is a fairly classic countryside establishment that has a homey feel to it and a welcoming, yet confusing to outsiders atmosphere. All the classics are here: pulled pork, baked beans, fried okra, potato salad. Walking in, the couple resident guests who likely consider themselves part owners give the stare down, in the same fashion that they do for their cat when it drags in a rattlesnake into the house. Asking if the sauce comes on top or side of the pulled park, the waitress pleasantly informs that the chef does either depending on the day, thus going back to check what kind of mood they are in today. Yeah, it's that kind of a joint and there is nothing wrong with it. It is a different world than the city that's a mere half hour away. As far as the meal, the pulled pork is all-right. A bit dry, not particularly fresh, but standard mass produced pork. The okra is excellent. The potato salad is very vinegar centric, to a degree that made it a bit hard to actually finish, but could be of flavor for some. With all of that said, Jones BBQ is still a much better option than the fast food options in town and worth a stopover if passing through Temple. It's a simple place, with homey food and represents the place where it is.
