We usually go to the Long Beach location. This time we wanted to try the original location in Lido Beach. Same great ice cream paired with great service. Even when the line was long, it quickly dissipated. I got my favorite, mint. The sprinkles fit in nicely for 4th of July weekend. I haven't kept up with the price of ice cream cones, but I wasn't expecting $9.06 for an ice cream cone, despite the "large" (as opposed to small or medium) size. The receipt said $8.32 + $0.74 tax. What I found even stranger than the $9.06 was the base price of $8.32. Just seems really odd to me. So I had my ex meet me at a meeting spot in Baldwin for him to drop off my son and after dragging my kid on two uber eats runs that he didn't want to do with me, I asked him if he wanted to get ice cream so we ended up at Marvel for the first time. I had the peanut butter yogurt in a cone with crunchies, my son had the chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and a cherry. It was good but the peanut butter flavor wasn't as peanut buttery as other peanut butter ice creams or frozen yogurts I've tried. Marvel is cash only so if you're planning to stop by make sure to have that cash on you. The service is also window service only. I'm not sure if they shut down for the winter or not. I love my ice cream which is why I didn't stay vegan for long when I tried to do it at the end of last year and Marvel is a decent ice cream stop. read more

Hubby was bored so he looked up some place to go. We found this place on line. It looked cute so drove down to get some ice cream and hangout at the beach. We were worried that it would be crowded but it wasn't bad. There's a small lot where you get to stay for 15 minutes. We wore our masks and stayed six feet from everyone and ordered some our ice cream. I had strawberry, pistachio twist. Hubby had a sundae with butterscotch and Reeses Pieces.
