They used Sherwin Williams more durable elastomeric exterior paint for the body. They sealed and covered crack and crevices, and applied two coats. Lines were clean with very little mess. We just had our house exterior paint done by Marvin. During the initial assessment, Marvin walked around the house and defined the scope of the project and explained how he and his team would complete the job. Marvin then provided us a quote and a contract to specify what type of paint that he would be using. I had worked with contractors before and rarely met someone like Marvin who pays attention to details. With that said, we did not bother to call for another quote from another contractor. Despite our HOA's regulations and pre-project requirements, Marvin took care of all the needs from the HOA and that made the whole process easier since it was our first time to deal with both the painting contractor and HOA. Finally, the work started, Marvin and his crews arrived on time and the paint was done in a professional manner. No trash left behind, the surrounding was kept just like it was. We were given a year to complete the project, but decided to complete the project this year due to the rising cost of materials. Hired Marvin's company to do a 3000sq ft home paint project. Was quick to respond for initial quote as well as follow through with the project. During the project and prep work, his employees damaged the window frame while trying to opening back the weep holes from previous painters' poor job. Marvin was quick to respond and promised a fix for the job. While the damage is very apparent, it's overall an outside look issue and I can live with the outside not looking perfect. What I cannot accept is that Marvin does not take responsibility of the damage his team did to my windows. Prior to painting the house, his staff pressure washed the house, including the windows. At which time, the damage was not noticed. However, we did notice the staff did an extreme wash, upwards to the window. The project concluded on 5/17/2021, and our family noticed moisture inside our double pane window, which WAS NOT there prior to the paint project. I tried to reach out to Marvin multiple times explaining the issues and problems with the windows. Marvin put the blame back on the house and said that the moisture in the windows have occurred due to the windows being old and the seals were weakened, so when his team covered the windows, the moisture was created from that. He was going to find his window contractor to see if a quote can be given. He would be willing to split the cost at 50/50 with me. At that time, I told him, I was shopping for quotes and found the cheapest was $400, and this was not even for an exact window replacement because the original glass was a lot more expensive (can't remember what the glass was called, had blue tint on it). I told Marvin, if his contractor did give a cheaper quote, I can go with his contractor. Weeks went by, no response. I tried to send him another text on 6/10/2021, his response became aggressive. His exact words were "Hello ___, you know I have bigger problems right now I cannot think of that right now if you really think that We cost the I will give the $200." I'm thinking... your team was the one that damaged my windows, and I'm willing to split the cost with you when you should be covering the entire cost since it was your staff that damaged it and you can give me this kind of attitude?? Are you kidding me?... And of course, as suspected, $200 payment was never received. I sent a follow up email, no response. I thought I would have forgotten about how bad this service was, but here we are, 10/2/2021 and I am still angry at this matter. It's not the $200 I'm angry it, it's really taking responsibility and accountability of your work and your agreement. The company damaged my windows and damaged my frame... I was going to recommend this company to my friends, no longer will I do that. read more

Marvin and his crew are fantastic. They're reliable, professional, competitively priced and do an excellent job! He and his crew were at my house for 3 weeks painting the interior as well as our cabinets throughout the house. I wasn't prepared for the attention to detail they provided. I never expected the cabinets to come out as beautiful as they did. These were the original cabinets from the house so they weren't in that great of shape. After they were done they looked brand new! He was also very helpful in assisting us with selecting the colors for the interior as well as a beautiful accent wall in the kitchen, living room and bedroom. The walls came out gorgeous and the job they did was impeccable. He made sure we were completely satisfied before they left. This type of service is very rare these days and I can't say enough good things about him and his crew. They'll be coming back in a few months to paint the exterior of our home. What a wonderful experience! Marvin and his crew are very professional. We used them to paint some of our interior and just wow!!! The color match was spot on. Marvin's did a painfully perfect job on the house exterior. His quoted job took a little longer than quoted in order to get every little detail perfect. As an example, the window trims were perfectly sealed and painted which took extra time. This resulted in a long lasting quality that won't let water to seep and cause problems leading to another fix and paint job. A quick spray-n-go job would have looked fine for this year, but would not suffice after. Also, the prep work went a couple days extra because he wanted to make sure the siding was done correctly rather than just painting and hiding the flakey siding. Overall, this is one painter that does not short-cut and goes beyond all expectations. Professional, on time, and definitely cost effective. Marvin was referred to us by a close friend. He and his crew had painted the interior/exterior of her home and did an amazing job, and we were very impressed with the final result.
