When I complained that the tow truck driver driver that showed up was full of attitude, testosterone and unprofessionalism that proceeded to physically threaten me for questioning his billing information. Emich VW Boulder told me to call Marv's Towing company for the tow and tell them the dealership would pay on their company account. The driver refused to call his dispatcher to verify, so I called the dealership to confirm and he refused to talk to the dealership. What???? On 10.28.2023 while waiting at a stoplight on McCaslin on the Hwy 36 overpass, a Marv's tow truck pulled up behind me and began honking his horn. I assumed he wanted me to move forward...but the only option was to pull into the intersection and oncoming traffic. If he had just waited literally less than the two minutes it took for the light to change, I could have gotten safely out of his way - instead he continued to honk. When I had finally inched forward enough for him to pull alongside me, he jumped out of his truck and screamed "moron" at me through the car window. What a shame he felt the need to be so rude and careless with the safety of the other drivers around him. read more

Josiah called me and was here in about 10 minutes and is about the nicest guy I have ever met and he unseized a frozen wheel with mastery and couldn't have been more friendly and fast. My car was towed from in front of my house in North Boulder in May 2022. I have been at the stroke trauma unit in Denver Colorado caregiving for my girlfriend who suffered a massive stroke and barely survived. I returned home after a full month of staying overnight at the hospital to find Boulder County and Marvs Towing had towed my other vehicle, a 2007 Subaru that I rarely ever use. I went to get it out in June and I found out I had to get emmissions done so it took me two more weeks to get the registration done to get my car released. Not only did I pay 375 dollars just for the tow, Marvs charged me $1750 dollars for "storage". I got emotional and told them my situation which they said was "irrelevant". When I got upset, they told me to leave or come back with a police escort. This is how they treated a person in the most stressful situation possible. Horrible company culture and an extremely shallow group of people work here. Go with other tow companies, these people have no heart or care for anything but ripping you off. read more

A flat bed tow truck driver from marvs almost killed me today! I was driving and then all of a sudden this huge tow truck pulls out in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks so hard that stuff in my car flew and hit the front windshield! If I didn't have quick relexs I would have smashed right in the back on the tow truck and died! I followed him for the next mile and his phone was glued to his face the whole time! I recently had my Toyota Land Cruiser towed to the shop for a repair. The tow truck driver had to push the truck and left a hand size dent on my rear tail gate. I provided a photo of the Toyota that was taken minutes before the tow showing no dent. Marv's has assumed no responsibility leaving me out of pocket to repair damage they caused. I will no longer use Marv's and I would not recommend them. I would recommend using your insurance company to get a tow. I slid on a patch of ice and hit a curb with my front tire. Effectively, I could not drive because my tire was bent backwards and angled down. It made an awful sound when I tried to turn. My dealership recommended Marv's, and I had never called a towing company so I didn't know what to expect. A lady picked up pretty quickly, gathered my information, said they would arrive in about an hour. That took about 5 minutes, top. They arrive within 20 minutes, to my surprise. I had to get a lawyer to send a mean letter to get my money back they illegally charged me. Marv's Towing is a fantastic towing company and proven quality service! Recently, I had the misfortune of having my car break down in the middle of the afternoon on a very hot day. I called AAA, and they dispatched USA Towing. The driver responded promptly with a flatbed truck, and surveyed my situation. Because my car required towing hooks (which were missing from the previous USA Towing experience), the driver determined it wasn't possible to get my car onto the flatbed. He gave some plausible reasons and denied the ability to help me, stating I needed a different kind of truck, one with a dolly. So, in 97 degree heat, the driver of USA Towing had me sign his trip sheet, told me he would call the correct tow truck and left me there. Yeah, he still got paid (for nothing). Enter Marv's Towing! Not only did the "Dolly truck come, but a competent driver. He asked me questions, like, "Does your car start, does it run?" Yeah I, I could have driven the car onto the flatbed! My car was in "limp mode which was was what required the tow. The new driver was courteous, patient, intuitive and thorough! The driver was nice, but the customer service was not. I was charged $300 for a tow my insurance company told me they paid for. I was not told what fees would incur or when. Turns out it's $25/day to have your car on their lot. I was also charged a random $60 on the day of the initial tow so that I could go get my registration out of my car. When I tried to ask questions or clear up confusion, the man I spoke to (big dark brown beard) told me it was a private impound (it was requested by my insurance company) ordered by the location I asked for my car to be towed to. My car never got to that location because Marv's brought my car to their lot and wouldn't release it without my insurance's approval. I don't know if they're incompetent or trying to scam me, but either way, I'm out $920. read more
