So Frugal's has moved locations! Unfortunately it's not for the better. There is less stock…read more(possibly because they've just recently reopened!) and the prices are higher. While there are definitely some treasures and deals to be found, it's ultimately a downgrade in quality from the previous location, at least at the current time. I also want to note that despite loudly advertising that "all clothing is $2.98," they have a section at the front of higher priced clothing items. I admit I think this is a rather duplicitous business practice. It also seems random what clothes are put up there. Some of it was the same fast fashion that infests the rest of the clothing racks, while some finer materials and true vintage was languishing on the $2.98 racks. It just didn't make sense to me! It's worth a stop if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for Frugal's.

I found the kitchen section in terms of pots, pans, mixers and things of that nature to be very sparse while their main attraction was clothing. Off in the back right, one can find a small furniture section with some decent to horrible offerings. I liked some of the books they had and was extremely tempted to pick something up since I found many that perked my interest. Their music selection had me laughing as I noticed a couple odd bands from the 80s, 90s and beyond which I don't think anyone would buy. Color Me Bad anyone? I don't recall seeing much for motorized lawn equipment but I was in and out relatively quickly. Overall, thrift stores have a very particular clientele and subculture. I'm pretty sure if you're reading this you know how things go, so I'm not going to try and upsell you, rather give you the thumbs up to come on by and see what they got. It's safe and the people are nice while have a very large floorspace open to many different reasonably priced objects.

The clothing is organized well and the prices are generally reasonable. The housewares and book selection is limited as well as limited toys. The service is friendly, but I do believe they follow around the customers too much. I think they have volunteers since it's part of Catholic charities, but they seem to always be putting away clothing in the area that people are shopping and watching the customers which is uncomfortable.

They have a variety of adult clothing and some books. Most of the books seem to be non-fiction and children. There were hardly any fictional books. I do believe their prices are somewhat high, especially since a lot of their items tend to be on the older side. My husband paid for the items but was not greeted, but was given a friendly thank you at the end.

They had an old holiday Barbie priced at ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY dollars. Ridiculous! It was not worth more than $20 on the current resale market. I'm not even a reseller, just a collector! The store was not very clean and was overcrowded with crap. If you want to move items, they have to be priced well! I'll probably be back because of the few things you can find, but be prepared to search when you come! $10 for a board game is ridiculous, especially one that's taped shut so I can't check if it has all the pieces!

I bought a 7 foot ficus tree which I've had for a long time. But what I really like is I bought this Greek inspired side head sculpt that I absolutely adore and it gets many compliments from my guests. Also there's a Greek inspired plate and candle holders which I think adds interest to my living room. Finally, I've also bought some quality kitchen items for my kids which saved me a ton of money. There are a few other knickknacks but you get the jist. Overall, thrift stores have a very particular clientele and subculture. I'm a bit surprised this thrift store isn't in the 4.5+ average for reviews. I really love this…read moreplace and I love thrifting. I usually go once a month during their sale to buy. They consistently have good and fun items. I've left with a huge cart full several times. My only issue is that it can get packed in there at times. There's often not enough carts nor enough dressing rooms when it's really busy. It's still not bad but I wish they'd work on getting some more carts donated and maybe find some space for a few more dressing rooms. They are raising money for charity and the people who are working there I believe are mostly volunteers so I don't want to complain too much. I'm sure if I'm overwhelmed by how busy it is, the volunteers and employees must be. I like to drop off things here and there to donate to them as well. That's an easy process here. I'm going to try to snap some photos on my next visit but considering it's a thrift store, it stays pretty clean and fairly well organized even on busy Saturdays and sale days.
