I was visiting the area for Christmas with my mother. We were looking for a place to get takeout after a long drive from Florida. Mary's had great reviews and easy to use online ordering website. The drive was about 15 minutes from our Airbnb, so we left not long after ordering. We waited for about 5 minutes at the restaurant and our food was hot and ready! I got the Nachos Mixtos with chorizo. I loved how I was able to customize and add all the toppings I wanted. I also got Horchata and Pico De Gallo. Everything was delicious! I thought the tortilla was too thick on my burrito and the way it was rolled there was like a half inch of just that but the ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly. Their queso has little green peppers in it and was good with the included chips. I liked the overall vibe and that they had a million different hispanic beers and protein (for example regular chicken, buffalo and jerk, fish, etc) They also have Salvadorian dishes and tacos i may try in the future. read more

You want to feel unwelcome and like you've interrupted someone's day the moment you walk through the door? Do you want to feel judged for it being your first time there and not knowing how the order process works by the smug guy at the counter? You want to see the grown frustrated little man at the counter jump down your throat when you ask him a question? Well look no more, your search had ended and you'll get that here! Ohhh and half your order will be incorrect!! Bonus!! I ordered the pupusa plate and they were very good. Unfortunately I ordered 2 chicharonne and 1 chicken but instead received 2 bean and cheese and 1 chicken. I was beyond annoyed with the grumpy counter dude to say something. I might have said something if someone with, I don't know, some inkling of customer service skills, would stop by and check on things.....Crazy thought I know! Here are some things that might have helped... 1. Greet the Customer in a friendly and welcoming way and direct them gently on where to order. Example... "Hi! welcome to Mary's. Have you been here before? Oh no? Well so glad you chose us. I'll take your order over here as soon as you're ready. If you have any questions please let me know" . 2. Customer has a question on filling choices on a pupusa? Instead of pointing at a menu board and saying fillings are listed "on the bottom", simply say "your pupusa options are bean and cheese, chicken, etc., etc." when you direct someone to read something located "on the bottom" they most likely will look at the bottom on the menu not under the item since they are unfamiliar with the structure of your menu. 3. After the customer pays you their hard earned money to treat themselves (whilst on vacation) to a meal, perhaps the right thing to say is "thanks, here is your drink and chips and beans. Please find a place to sit and someone will bring you your food." "Oh and by the way right over there is a salsa bar with lots of yummy options" Instead of looking at the customer as if their asshole is showing and saying in a passive agreement manor "can I help you"? How in the holy hell was I supposed to know how y'all do things there? After The customer receives their food, Maybe give them a few minutes and then go check on them. Ask them "How is everything? Can I get you anything"? Instead of ignoring them entirely. It is up to the people working there to provide a pleasant experience and to be a leader and gently direct newbies on how the process works, ya jerk. There are so many other options for people to go. Perhaps a little gratitude and humility are in order. Do better or adios. read more

Have to Agree with another poster.Ashely L. Mary's at the old smaller spot was better ,larger burritos ,friendlier service by the owner as well. This time however,no smile ,no greeting from a young girl who made our burritos she didn't really seem to enjoy being there or understand English . She smirked when I ordered and seemed "confused " the music was loud so she may not have understood me,not sure exactly why she is in the food service industry. The tiny spoonfuls of beans were laughable. You get way more at Chipotle for your money. The rice is tasty and she did serve a normal amount of that at least but I didn't order a rice burrito it was supposed to be a "Big Burrito" $9.50 is A LOT OF MONEY MARY!! We are in the south and these prices are high for a burrito. I'll add a picture so you can see my small handheld burrito. It's not Mexican food as someone else said . I'm Mexican and this is not even close. It used to be ok never was a favorite but we did go often since there really isn't much here as far as a burrito place. Mary's is your only option. I have been to this new location before and the son made the burritos much better and he is nice so 2 starts for him. We may go back in a few months and see if anything has changed.... Also wish they had bean dip instead of the cheese dip. Just sayin! read more

Exceptional! Great food cooked to order while you watch. While the category says Mexican, it's more South or even Central American (similar, yet subtly different). Everything we ordered was perfectly made and super flavorful. The portion sizes are deceivingly large (easily large enough to share). Their new location is a huge improvement over the old place. Everything is new and spotless, even if it is bland. Nothing bland about the food, though! Fresh, tasty ingredients - and lots of choices. You build your own creation of tacos, burritos, quesadillas or salads. They have a selection of several meats, and lots of accessories to add. The Big Burrito Combo was more than I could eat.
