I always have to end up somewhere that serves rice. I may have to travel with a rice cooker. This time, as many times before, I came to a Mexican restaurant. This is a nice place, with lots of people coming in and out, and a nice bar and dining room. The food came to our table quickly, the plates came hot out of the oven. I had a combo tamale/burrito, and my gf had a combo enchilada/burrito. We also ordered some guacamole, some queso, and the salsas were self serve. We enjoyed everything. read more

Got the taco fiesta salad. Only vegetables were corn and black beans with a little Romain lettuce. No spinach, squash, zucchini or other vegetables! Corn and black beans are not really considered a vegetable. They are starches. The waitress didn't even ask what kind of meat I wanted. It came with cold chicken. The final receipt included a $2.50 in house order fee. Who knows what that was for. Very disappointed! The restaurant used to be my favorite. When they started getting a lot of good reviews, it all went down hill. Don't know if I will be back again or not. read more

This is a hidden gem! Food was excellent for all dietary restrictions if necessary. Karina went above and beyond and substituted sauces and worked with me to get my 8 year old something she will eat! About my lost wallet at Taco Fiesta last week, where the server denied finding my wallet and taking the cash out of the wallet, the restaurant manager just called back and said that the server admitted to stealing the cash from the wallet but subsequently decided to bring part of the cash back to the manager. The manager called me and said that they corrected the matter and will give back the cash to me in full. I thank them for their efforts in making this unfortunate incident right and retrieving the lost stolen cash. I am very impressed with the management's efforts in making this right, hence we will continue to support their business, dine there, as the food is always 5 stars. Thank you Taco Fiesta. read more

Have been trying to find a "go to" Mexican restaurant in hendo area... I FOUND IT!!! Had burrito verde- steak burrito with poblano peppers and a green poblano cream sauce. Muy rico! After camping in Brevard, we were driving home and saw this restaurant on the side of the road and decided to stop in for lunch. It's a quaint little Mexican restaurant with seemingly better quality than most I have been to. The food was delicious and they do their best to keep it authentic. There was a hair in a couple of plates of our food, which they replaced immediately and refunded the dishes. The bathrooms were clean and the patio was super nice and thoughtful with the pillows on the benches and thoughtful decor. Would surely try this place again. read more

Service was on point! Ordered the Sizzling Enchiladas. Now, I am a Pappas and Beef fan but these were the best I have had since Texas. Their salsa verde is delicious! The chicken was moist and flavorful. The beef was moist and had decent seasoning but could use more. Rice is much like Pappas and Beer with a butyery chicken flavor so, very tasty. Get the carne en su jugo! I decided to try it not knowing what it was. I was not expecting a big bowl of soup, but oh my god it was soooo delicious! It's a hearty soup with thin cuts of beef, bacon and beans - super flavorful albeit a tad salty. It's enough to share or take home leftovers to enjoy later. Every time I visit my mom in Hendersonville I have to make a trip to Taco Fiesta for the carne en su jugo. I went on Yelp and looked at the menus of a ton of Mexican restaurants in Charlotte (where I live) and couldn't find it anywhere. There's tons of YouTube videos that show how to make it but my first attempt was a dud. Anyhoo, I also recommend the carnitas and carnitas fajitas (the pork is nice and moist and everything is well-seasoned), and the Tres Amigos. Their mole is just okay. Service is very good and the decor inside is lovely. They also have a covered patio if you want to sit outside. Did I mention the carne en su jugo? It's truly out of this world! This is a favorite place of ours. Food is always excellent, good flavor, large portions. Great service. Restaurant is very clean and well kept. Today we were there for lunch, and they were very busy. Wanted to give a shout out to the entire restaurant staff, especially the young man who waited on us. Even though they were slammed, everyone had a smile on their face, and took time to answer customers' questions and get the orders just right. Very efficient service.
