And it was described that way on the bill I received so when I went in today to order new glasses I asked about the discount and was told it was no longer offered and then told because I Medicare the discount is no longer offered. When I cited the discount I received two years ago I was told that there was no such thing and I had been lied to. I was sitting there in disbelief when she pointed to the rack of glasses behind me and she said you might wanna get your frames there. Those are for the Medicaid patients. Why would you assume because I asked for a discount then I wanted to buy $100 frames? The woman that waited on me was unspeakably rude and did not care when I told her that I wasn't going buy my glasses there and I got up to Leave. Patient shows up at 8:15 because the clinic doesn't open until "8:30." They apologize for the "website being wrong" and state "it's been an issue for a while and happens all the time" but then won't let the customer keep same appointment (even though they were admittedly in the wrong). If they can't get their website and appointments right, then communicate with their patients that known website is wrong and then won't honor a patient's appointment when they were in the wrong, why would I want them to look at my eyes? Let's start the patient/doctor relationship on a good note. Thankfully I just need a routine eye exam and it's not an emergency! I'll be finding a different eye clinic to have my eyes checked out! Johns Hopkins, do better, your patients have busy lives and our health matters, our time is valuable to us and to be treated poorly from the beginning of the relationship is very disappointing.

My…read moreparents have been coming here every year and now I have been bringing my mom since she is by herself- I am not a patient. The doctor and care is excellent for her, BUT they really need to overhaul their appointment procedure. When you have a 9:30 appointment you expect to be seen at 9:30 or shortly thereafter. Every year without fail, the doctor shows up hours later beyond the appointment time. Usually we are here for at least 3 hours total which the majority of the time is spent waiting on the doctor. No one wants to waste a half day just at one appointment- it is unacceptable.
