We visited over the weekend to see the new expansion and try the new food menu. Having a young…read morechild we find breweries to be a good spot to hang out. So we were hopeful the food menu would be good. Well I'm not saying it's terrible, but it definitely needs work. I'm hoping it's just while they get their bearings with offering food. But it seems like it's very simple kitchen appliances like crockpots and some sort of toaster oven for the flatbreads. Steve behind the bar was great though, answered our many questions and was patient. Beer is always good here! We also love the expansion, it's created more space and more light.

And from what I have been told, the food is phenomenal. Flat breads and sandwiches on a gourmet level with beer inspired sauces and breads made locally from their spent grains. Bowigens in Casselbury has grown up. The brewery is now twice the size, with a kitchen, high tables, regular tables, an expanded bar and outside seating. Since the addition of food, they no longer let you bring your own food, so keep that in mind when visiting. Still as vibrant as in the old days, but the lighting isn't as dim and the atmosphere feels different. It has still retained its craft brewery mystic while maintaining the reputation for great craft beer. The BEER: Mantis Mayhem hazy IPA 6.5% ABV... thus is a smooth crushable hazy IPA, when this one warms up, it changes in a good way Orange Raze Dreamsickle hazy IPA 5.5% ABV... complex flavors, a little orange rind, a little lactose vanilla, a little sour and the IBUs to balance it out Day Dream Pineapple Coconut Wheat Ale 5.1% ABV... this would pair so vary well with pad thai But I don't want to be a pirate Hazy IPA 5.5% ABV... what a wonderful hazy IPA, I could end every night with this one The service at Bowegins is always top notch. On all my visits, the servers are high energy, low drag and match the vibrant vibe of this unique brewery. And just in a side note, every time I have visited here, it has rained. That is my fun fact for my fun visits to BOWIGENS Beer Company.

It's decorated with lots of plants and flowers, which makes it stand out. Once you walk inside, the ambiance is very relaxed with a nice country-style vibe. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.

Acknowledging Outstanding Service at Antonio's!!…read more Antonio's has always been a place I enjoy, but the people truly make the experience special. I recently heard that Tim, the manager, is leaving, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize what an incredible job he has done. Tim consistently demonstrated outstanding customer service--welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel valued. His leadership set the tone for a warm, professional, and friendly environment that kept customers coming back. I also want to highlight Quentin, who has been an amazing server every time I've visited. Quentin is attentive, kind, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. It's rare to find service that is both efficient and genuinely caring, and Quentin delivers that every time. Antonio's is more than just great food--it's the experience created by people who care. Thank you for maintaining such a high standard of service and hospitality.

Opened for dinner only Monday and Tuesday from 5:00-9:00. Offering lunch Wednesday through Friday from 11:00-3:00. Inside they have removed several of the market dry goods shelving for additional seating. It has a fresher look, however, the air-conditioning couldn't keep up with the hot August temps. We were miserable the entire meal. The menu is much smaller and the food we have always loved was different. We had the lasagna and the baked penne. Usually two of our favorites. Not sure if they've hired a new chef, but the changes are not as we had hoped. They had no lack of business, which is good. Hoping they make needed adjustments because Antonio's has been a favorite of our for years!

If you're looking for a laid-back spot with a huge drink selection and fun weekly activities,…read moreHourglass is a great local hang. The parking situation isn't the best, there's very limited parking in the front lot of the brewery but there is a lot behind the building if it's full, and it can get full so just be prepared to walk a bit if it's busy. Inside, there's a solid amount of seating with a relaxed, casual vibe. They also have games you can play while hanging out, which makes it a great place to spend a couple hours with friends. What really stands out is the selection. They have a huge variety of beers (something for everyone), plus ciders, non-alcoholic options, and even soda. It's one of those places where everyone in your group will be able to find something they like. They don't serve food, but you're allowed to bring your own, which is a big plus. There's a wing spot just a few doors down that makes it super convenient to grab something and bring it back. They also host events throughout the week, my personal favorite is Wednesday night bingo. It's always a fun crowd and a good midweek activity. Overall, it's a great local brewery with a welcoming vibe, tons of drink options, and fun things to do. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area
