Amazing tacos. We got the tacos birrias and they were delicious and fresh. They were making fresh tortillas as we stood there. The horchata was also wonderful. My only complaint is the consume could've been a bit spicier and was a little oily. Otherwise, lovely. Very friendly service.

The first bite made me speak fluent Spanish for 5 minutes. The tacos are authentic. I thought I was in southern Mexico. When I finished somehow the food made me sing the Mexico anthem. The flavor of the corn was all over southern Mexico. The green tortilla was very good. The white tastes just like hot water corn bread. Loved it. My suggestion is to get one of each or two of each. Also they have 12 different salsas. The Rico suave is great and the smokey is awesome. The chicken was my favorite however the steak was a close second. Please talk to the owner and he will explain everything to you. All the tortillas are made by hand and are corn only no flour. Also try the rice water and you can thank me later. You can eat at the bar in the bar ambiance.

    The best birria and esquites!

This. Place. Is. Insane. I've stalked Masa online for several months and was so excited to finally go. First off, East Market is awesome. So many great locally owned businesses in one spot supporting each other and they literally have something for everyone. Now about the Birria. I ordered the Taco Birria with a side of Esquites, Everything was so fresh and flavorful! The Birria was the best I've ever had, so so tender and had the perfect amount of seasoning. The esquites were SO GOOD, loaded with flavor and the corn was perfectly crisp not mushy at all! The portions were generous, I definitely didn't need the side but I'm glad I ordered it! I cannot wait to return to eat here again, I'll be thinking about this meal for a long time!

Our daughter has Celiac and this is a gluten-friendly restaurant. The owners are super nice and the food is incredible. We enjoyed the Tamales, Birria Tacos, steak tacos and chicken enchiladas. Everything was outstanding. Definitely will come back again.

Quickie pickup of our favorite Salsa Chingón. Another fave, Esquites, was around too, so we got a couple. Best street corn in the city.

The food was amazing! We had the tacos--two Barbacoa and one chorizo--and they were very good. They provided us with two hot sauces, which were delicious. We also enjoyed the hangover soup, which was fantastic. The staff were very kind and came to check on us to ask how our meal was; that was very thoughtful. East Market has a cozy atmosphere, with seating options upstairs that include an arcade. Everything was beautifully decorated for the holidays. East Market is the place to be, and you absolutely have to check out MASA!

Food - I got the barria tacos (traditional)...I have never had Thai dish anywhere so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a very linear taste. That dish was a flop for me as it was very flat and lacked the complexity I thought it should have ‍. Service - great! The positive portion of my review is based off the service. The gentleman that helped me was very informative, patient and friendly! Overall, I will definitely go back and try another dish. Update soon!

Handmade, Authentic Mexican Cuisine meets Passionate Owner & Staff Welcome to Masa. Bar none, I had been wanting to try this spot for months and I'm glad I finally had the opportunity. I literally dusted off my old Yelp account to write a review for a business that I believe in. In what will quickly become an anchor in my home community, Masa defies all culinary expectations. Walking up, you are caught in awe by the fresh corn tortillas being pressed and grilled right in front of you. The hospitality of the owner, who hooked it up with fresh chips and all NINE of his salsa concoctions was an absolute delight. Then came the food. I would put this carne asada against any in the city or elsewhere. And the chicken tinga rivals tacos I've had in California. Tamales? Absolutely amazing- we got one of each. This place went from "I really want to try that place" to "I'll be there every week". Don't wait. Don't walk. RUN to Masa before the line is so long you'll have a 45 minute wait for tacos.

Chicken tinga, pastor and barbacoa tacos. Amazing!!

Go! Now! Super friendly service! Freshly made, absolutely delicious tortillas! Super flavorful and tender meat. I highly recommend this awesome establishment in The East Market. Great job Masa!

Well, authenticity it is. Curious about this spot so we checked it out. I had the special of the day Chicken Fajita, it came with 3 tacos and the tacos were freshly pressed and cooked as we order and they were fantastic, soft and you can taste the corn. However tacos were on the "small"side and can use up a little bit more salt but the 3 different sauces they give you made up for it. Also, gotta try the tres leches right? Dense, moist and yes it was good. Happy tummy!

The service first off is excellent. The owner is so nice and genuinely wants to take care of you and your taste buds. The food - yum! I love all the salsas. I've had so many different things but I don't think I got a pic every time. If you want some fantastic nachos - try theirs! It's a big size so keep that in mind. Can't wait for my next round of food from here.

Food was fantastic, if a tad pricey for what you get. We were informed that Masa is known for their birria tacos--and they did not disappoint.

First off I must mention Ivan who is the owner...Ivan went out of his way to to fill us in about his amazing menu! The tamales were the best I have ever tasted . Just the right amount of spices, texture, and heat. The pork was seasoned perfectly and was overflowing. The Chicken Tinga Tostada was fantastic on its made to order tortilla! Tortillas made fresh and in front of you as you wait for your order. I will be back Ivan as soon as I return to Columbus. Keep doing the great work that you are doing my friend.

Chicken enchiladas and pinto beans!!! Bravo!!!

I sit at the bar and I'm greeted by something I've never had ever...chips served with 2 red salsas, a verde salsa and bean dip! Usually you just get chips, a small bowl and a carafe of salsa, help yourself. This set the tone that this would be different than usual. I ordered steak fajita nachos and a Modelo Negra. I powered thru the chips and bean dip like it was my job. And it didn't disappoint. Really fresh and flavorful. Nachos are nachos, right? Wrong. How they are assembled has everything to do with their mouth feel as they cool down. I've had nachos that come out looking amazing but as they cool, turn into a disappointing chuck of chips held together by shredded cheese cement. These stayed loose with crunchy bites of peppers and onions, and the cheese sauce coated instead of becoming cement-like. I always order the same thing when trying a New Mexican spot. If the nachos are good, chances are everything is good! So I'll keep the almost 5 Star steak going. I agree, some of the best Mexican food in Columbus.

Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
