Holding my baby was difficult and painful. I don't normally get bodywork, but I made a commitment to taking care of myself so I could be the best version for my child. I walked out of my first session feeling lighter, stronger, more grounded, and like my body had gotten a facelift. Her work is deep and intense, and there can be some short-term discomfort, but it has been worth it. Emily communicates clearly throughout the treatment and creates such a calm, zen experience. I especially appreciate that she makes space for consent throughout the process and allows me to be an active participant in my care. Just as I was reaching the end of my massage package, I broke my foot. I continued treatment with Emily to support my recovery alongside physical therapy. I had nerve overstimulation and rebound pain after surgery and she was able to re-regulate me. Being able to bring my baby and nanny with me has also been such a wonderful experience.
