I went in for a tire patch of a beat up tire, and was warned by employee, Casey Jones, that this tire was not far off from blowing out completely. Though I would normally be wary of being "scammed" into a pricier fix, I believe Casey was legitimately worried about my safety and was looking out for the good of me and my car. Casey was able to get me a pretty great deal on a replacement tire and had it replaced within 15 minutes at most. Even though it was a Friday evening, he was incredibly friendly and efficient. My experience at NTB was everything you would want in an auto repair: quick, friendly, and affordable.

There are a zillion so called discount tire places but Dave's is honest and won't try to oversell you. If you dont need new tires then they won't to to scare you into buying them. I called last Friday after having talked to different businesses about getting my tire rim repaired or replaced. None of them gave me any real satisfactory information so the search continued until I got to Dave's. I believe it was Kevin that I spoke with (I'm sorry, the name escapes me). He was very informative and quite pleasant on the phone, giving me quotes and guarantee information on their service and products. Saturday, I drove up to get the rim repaired, only to find that they were/are "closed on Saturdays until further notice". I went back on Monday and met with him to review my rim's condition. He took a look and gave me a very clear explanation and what I should expect. He even suggested that I could expedite matters by taking it directly to their service center for repair. I told him that I was comfortable leaving it with him and could wait a few days. I left the tire with him feeling good about things. It was early Tuesday when he called to let me know that the repair was complete (much sooner than I expected). I drove back and picked it up, extremely pleased with their timeliness. My added bonus came when he reviewed the condition of the damaged tire with me to show me exactly why it was unsafe for use. He had conducted a search to get me pricing on tires, even though I told him I was getting it replaced at no charge by the company responsible for the bad tire. Had car towed by AAA due to dash lighting up like a Christmas tree, had to call the next day to…read morecheck status (every light on dash lit up) to be told it just needed an oil change (which I was aware of) and they would call back in an hour after it was done which we did not get a call. Following day still never heard anything so called the next day and was told yeah that's done. Go to pick up and pay $263 just to walk out to a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree! Returned to the front desk to make them aware and the managers response was "really?" He said he can check it again but wouldn't be until Monday (this was on a Saturday). I asked if they test drove it like they said they would and his response was, "they should have". He asked if I wanted to leave it there, I said I'll just take it somewhere that knows what they're doing. Got home, ran my $12 ODM scanner to find a P0369 code, and what I was originally told was it just needed an oil change. I was charged $167 for diagnostics. DO NOT take your vehicle here! Terrible service, terrible mechanics, terrible experience all around.
